#you know when employers hire you and then make you do a bunch of shit that’s not in your job description and then dont pay you for it?#thats this for actors#(analogy incomplete bc you don’t get paid for auditioning except sometimes for travel)#actors are constantly told to just get used to it it’s the norm now#that in addition to all the other logistics and expenses of auditioning we’re expected to be cinematographers#with a full lighting and lav setup half the time.#self tapes absolutely have their place but expectations have gotten ridiculous
