my maths teacher is essentially making us all do the work for his class digitally and the laptop-tablet thingy i lent from the school is never doing what i want it to and it's incredibly frustrating and the only reason i somewhat tolerate it is that he's the same teacher i could talk to about not using gendered pronouns for me whenever possible in school papers and the like and he also remembered that and made a conscious effort in front of the entire class to reword what he was saying to refer to me gender-neutrally. which really is a feat in my native language, so like, i love him for making the effort and remembering. but also why digitally

#its an internal conflict #bc i HATE to work digitally for school. i DESPISE it #i have so many reasons i can write an entire professional argument about that #i probably will. not professionally but by god i will vent on tumblr.com #but also. NO GENDER FOR ME!! AND HE REMEMBERED!! AND MADE SURE TO ADJUST HIS LANGUAGE!!!!!!!!#i just sat there with the widest grin ever istg #a biscuit's rambles #we stan gender supportive teachers!!#and also the 60 something secretary who knows everyone by name and also everything theyve told her ever #(okay this applies to all three secretaries istg they are literally the best)#and she said she was sorry that their computers still dont get that theres third options for gender #and that they might mess up but they know and are doing their best to not refer to me as a girl #and i am sos o so so happy #i mean. none of the other teachers know i think (yet?) bc going up to teachers and outing oneself alone is like. hooo boy #but like. itll spread ig. or ill just mention it off-handedly instead of a traditional outing #like my class knows. half the other class knows bci have maths w/ them. a teacher and the secretaries know. its only a matter of time now :
