Hey guys, Wings (she/her or they/them) here!

The rules are basically going to be the same as my previous blogs, but if you’ve never met me here’s the rundown:

Important general rules:

I can be a very s l o w replier, and often have a tendency to drop threads. Because of some medical issues I get tired and worn-down easily. I also am a part-time student. First off, I’m very, very sorry. Please talk to me if I forget or drop something you really want to do.

Relating to the above, there are some nights where I only have the muse for certain threads, or even just memes or drabbles. Please respect that and don’t take offense that I’m not replying.

I’m painfully shy. While I refuse to use this as an excuse to avoid interacting with other people, just know that if I don’t talk to you or interact with you. This is something I'm working on improving on, but I'll admit it does help if I get hints of interest from you (even if it's just liking some of my other posts)

OOC will be tagged as ‘Out of History’’ 

IC =/= OOC; If one of my muses doesn’t like your muse please don’t assume that I don’t like you. Val can be a dick sometimes. Chances are I do, very much like you.

IMs/DMs can cause me a lot of anxiety. This doesn’t mean that you can’t send them, but please understand there are some days I just may not reply. It’s not anything you did, it just spares me some stress because otherwise I’ll hyperfocus on them and not get anything done, resulting in a sense of guilt. So please just respect that. Also please don’t IM me just because I’m online; chatting is one of the hardest things.

You may have noticed this is now a sideblog. I don't feel like I can handle blog-hopping right now, or know for certain if I'm going to be able to keep things up. If that dissuades you from interacting with me, that's perfectly understandable.

Interactions:

I do not follow back without at least a rules page, and preferably a rules and an about page. If you're new to rp and new help on where to start, I'd be happy to help.

I have the usual roleplay rules-no godmodding, ect. Usually I give a warning, but if I do please don’t take it lightly. If you aren’t sure, or you’re new to rp and keep seeing the word ‘godmod’ floating around without understanding, just come talk to me and we’ll figure things out.

I don’t have much experience with Pokémon Special, so this will primarily be a game-verse blog. That being said, I’m more than happy to do crossovers of any sort, including between fandoms. Just understand that I may not be well-versed in the world from which your character comes, so you may have to give me some details.

OCs, multi-muse blogs, gijinkas, and Pokémon are welcome. I’m not very picky about who I thread with, so long as you understand the italicized rule above.

I also rp with multiples of the same muse. I do not have a main verse.

Likewise, I will do one-liners, para, and multi-para threads, though I lean towards multi-para. Sometimes my replies will be short, so please forgive me. I’ll try to match your length. Don’t feel compelled to match mine if you can’t think of anything, but I’d appreciate a thoughtful reply that I can work with.

This is a multi-ship blog. Unless relationship conflict is discussed between all involved roleplayers and agreed upon, no muse is cheating on anyone. 

I am all for having pre-established relationships. Come talk to me if you want to do that. We can also retcon a relationship if we’ve already started something.

I do not do greeters.

Most of the time I wing interactions, but I’d be happy to plot as well. Just remember that sometimes I take awhile to reply to asks.

Open to M!As, but I maintain the right to refuse any M!A or change the duration (including ending it early if need be)

While I don’t consider myself super strict on reblog karma, if I only ever see you reblogging memes from my blogs and never sending things, I will be disheartened and less inclined to interact with you. I’m working on gently reaching out to people if I see them doing this, and the majority of the time I reblog memes from a meme source if you can’t think of anything to send me personally.

However, if I've only ever seen you reblog memes from me (usually over a decent period of time because I'm slow to notice stuff), without interacting with me. you will be soft blocked.

Content:

The mun does not claim ownership of any art unless it’s tagged ‘Wings arts’.

Mun is of age, as are most of the muses, but it’s worth double-checking. Sexy fun times may occur on 18+ muses but are unlikely, and will be put under a read more. Other NSFW topics, like gore, may appear as well.

Similarly, triggers will be tagged, including gore. I tag ending with TW (ex: violence tw). Because I’m human I occasionally miss things, so don’t be afraid to message me if I have to go back and tag things. Please tell me if there’s anything you need me to tag for you, and I’m more than happy to do so.

I’d love to rp some Pokémon battles. However, instead of just jumping into a battle, I’d rather we either discuss the battle and outcome beforehand, or use a RNG to decide what attacks hit and such (I have a system I’ve used in the past that worked wonderfully, and would be happy to share it). 

If at any point you want to ship, just let me know. I can’t promise that my muse will feel the same, but I’m willing to at least give it a try as long as there’s chemistry and you respect my other rules.

DON’T BE A DICK! Racism, Homophobia, Transphobia, Sexism, Xenophobia; discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. Don’t come at me, or any of my followers/friends with that hot garbage.

SELECTIVITY .

I will only interact with mutual followers. This mostly goes for IC memes unless tagged otherwise. I do not follow for a follow. It’s nothing personal and intended for my own comfort, to keep me from feeling overwhelmed or if I can’t really see how our muses would interact in the long term. Other reasons deal with not having a tagging system, no rules or muse info present, formatting style or lack thereof; i.e. not cutting posts or more OOC than IC. While I am open to plotting and talking to non-mutual followers in order to start something new, please do not consistently come at me if I'm not interested.

In regards to unfollowing/soft blocking people, I usually filter through blogs that have been inactive for at least 5-6 months unless I personally know them and the general nostalgia factor has a vice like grip on me x3 and I'll try to keep to a 7 day grace period to following anyone back... but don't hold me to that cause I am forgetful AF.

GENERAL DYNAMICS .

I can be an impulsive & adaptive kind of writer at times. If nothing is plotted beforehand I'm prone to just wing it and see how it plays out. I’m also keen to follow my partner’s writing length and /or format should the desire arise for thread aesthetic goodness.

I like plotting pre-established relationships/connections. I find it to be a pretty nice immersion factor to basic intro threads/meme interactions.

I will not play favorites with any particular character(s). I may have main baes I feel more at ease freely interacting with and replying to. My character exclusivity is only placed upon romantic ships when it is asked of me.

SHIPPING .

This is a multi-ship blog. Every relationship takes place inside its own verse unless plotted otherwise, i.e; poly-ships. I love shipping! I love talking about possible ships. I love the planning and meme slinging. As much as I enjoy it, that is NOT an ultimate goal with my muse. I also like to get to know my potential ship partner as well beforehand.

Positivity Call-out Post!

Below are a list of a few individuals that I either greatly hold dear to my heart and/or absolutely appreciate and admire!

First I would love to shout out to my bestest friend y mi pinche cabrona: @amaharette! Thank you so much for always being there through thick and thin and being my go-to girl for late night calls, writing, and drinking shenanigans! You've helped me through some tough times, I literally have no idea where I would be without you!

Another person I would l cannot help but mention is perhaps my longest RP partner for my sad lil bae and the biggest inspiration for her development: @theveiledprophet! Amora would be nowhere near as developed as she is without our engaging conversations and story sequences together, and honestly our stupid memery is something that will always make me laugh out loud in a quiet and crowded room.

A special shout-out to a more recent friend and RP partner in the making: @blacksorrow-wra! You are a wonderful friend as you are a writer and I am so happy to have met you and cannot wait to see where the Knight and the Nymph storyline goes!

To @safrona-shadowsun and all of your wonderful characters! Even though we do not personally write together I have always admired you close and far, and am floored at your ability to create such diversely unique characters! @jinx4karma is literally one of the sweetest beans in the world! Visandri is one of my favorite nightborne ladies that I absolutely love seeing pop up in my feed and am happy to have made friends with you. Question for mun, any tips for approaching more professional/selective roleplay blogs, and to you what does the term "selective" mean? :o

☆ oh!! very good questions! i’d be more than happy to shed a little light on all of that, for you! 

this is gonna get a little bit lengthy, so i’m putting it under a read more for my poor dash;;;

now, for approaching “professional” selective blogs, first and foremost, ALWAYS thoroughly read their rules. you should ALWAYS do this for ANY role play blog you encounter, but if you’re worried about making a good first impression, i’d stress that first. 

always remember that there are people behind the screen, though! no matter how intimidating someone might seem, just respecting their boundaries and their wishes and being kind to them can go a long way!

and, again, i’d stress that you follow all of that advice for ALL rp blogs, anywhere, but i’m only specifying for the sake of your question.

“selective” is a broad term in the rp community. for many, it simply means that the mun is very picky-choosy with who they rp with. they have certain standards that need to be met before they’ll consider writing with somebody. please keep in mind that, while the term will generally mean the same thing, some muns might add more stipulations to it

so always read those bios/rules!!

i know i’m repeating that a lot, but you’d be surprised how often i find people tend to breeze over the rules page on rp blogs;;;; please don’t be like them;; 

read the tags on posts, especially!! THAT’S also VITALLY IMPORTANT! Some RP blogs, selective especially, might block blogs they perceive as personal blogs ON THE SPOT! 

be careful about how you interact with specific posts on their blogs!!

and ALWAYS always always make it blatantly obvious that you are either a role play blog, or you have an RP sideblog in your description,,,, P L E A  S E,,,,

sorry for that little diversion, imao, back to the topic of what selective means,,,

i follow the same definition of “selective” too. keep in mind that “selective” and “private” are two very different things, though! “private” typically means that the mun will ONLY interact with mutuals. if you two aren’t following each other, then you can forget about a thread or character interactions. 

i, myself, am selective, but NOT private, if that helps you at all? 

approaching rp blogs you see as “professional” can always be intimidating! trust me, I get nervous, too! but as long as you’re conscientious and you read over/understand the rules set in place for interaction, i wouldn’t worry too much!

if all else fails, and if you can bring yourself to do it, approach the mun OOC, and ask any questions you might have about the terms of interaction! we’re all just like you, and chances are, the mun is just as anxious and socially awkward- even if they don’t seem like it to you! 

i’ve been rping on tumblr for years, now, and i still feel like my advice is pretty bad/generic. i sincerely hope this was helpful, though! ☆

1. No godmodding of any kind will happen in threads. Just keep things fair or come talk to me if you want certain control over an event. rule

2. Selective, meaning I can be choosy with whom I follow just from time constraints and activity. Semi-Private, meaning while we don’t need to be mutuals to interact, I might choose mutuals during busy times. However don’t feel afraid to approach me with a plot or thread idea! That could be a window to being quick mutuals! rule

3. Starter calls are exclusive for mutuals, but memes are open for all! Feel free to send one in! rule

4. Sometimes I’m rather slow on replies or IM. Please note I have severe social anxiety so I can take a while to get to a message or rp because I’m trying to focus and not scare away from it haah. Don’t worry though, your reply or message is still in my mind to get too! I also tend to glance at things while I’m at work and forget to reply to them when I get home. By all means remind me within a week! Please don’t ask for my Discord for this same reason! I most likely will approach you first if I want to exchange names! rule

5. I do not require reblog karma. If you reblog a meme from me you don’t have to feel obligated to send me something in return (though if you do, all the better to get us interacting!).

6. I ask personal blogs not to reblog any of my threads or headcanons. Anything that’s rebloggable will be tagged as such. rule

7. I don’t use anyone’s personal tags for triggers, but general triggers are put under “tw -insert-” in which the blog may contain some. rule

8. Multi-ship blog, but ships with chemistry and value OOC communication before hand and during. All ships are put into their own verses. I am ship-exclusive, meaning if I ship with a certain character I won’t be shipping with a duplicate of said character. I would like my ship partner to extend the same courtesy-but if there’s a bump somewhere let me know! We can def work things out!

9. Mun is 21+ and muse is 21+. NSFW themes may occur but will be tagged and put under a read more accordingly. There will be no shipping or explicit nsfw content with any minor muse or mun. Any attempt to do so will earn a hard block.  

10. Crossover and OC friendly! Will most likely interact if you have an about and rules section somewhere!

11. This blog is not spoiler-free. Including for any newer games within the franchise. This is so I can easily keep up to date with my headcanons and personfication. I do however tag them accordingly!

12. Very rarely do I unfollow people. Times exempt are if there’s too much ooc present, lack of tags, no follow back after a week, or no activity for over an extended period of time without a notice. This is just to keep my dash clean and being able to interact with everyone on it!

13. I don’t follow or interact with duplicates. 10/10 job for having a fantastic muse choice if I don’t say so myself! But I still got some personal insecurities to work on and such! Maybe someday though!

 HOW I RUN MY BLOG:

SPEED:  S l o w. So fucking slow oh my god I’m sorry for each and every person that interacts with my ass. But sometimes, if it’s a small thread and both of us are replying fast enough, I’ll actually write back fairly quickly.

REPLIES: Matching lengths as best as I can with a ton of dialogue to keep things going. ‘cuz really, dialogue is the only thing I can write that doesn’t suck as bad. :’v

STARTERS:  I’m really, really bad at these. I mean I try my best but yeah don’t expect much quality from starters if they’re from my part.. sorry. I prefer getting a starter rather than sending, or creating something.

INBOX:  Send me all the stuff! Preferably for Poppy but talking to the mun is obviously fine. Starters, memes, questions.. come up and ask. Oh, and if I don’t answer straight away, either I didn’t see it yet, am answering something else or Tumblr did a fuck up and made it go poof. SELECTIVITY: I do have a little bias towards certain  blogs, some I like more some I like less but I’m mostly open to everyone as long as you’re a sane person and aren’t an asshole, or get yourself stuck in discourse often. WISHLIST: Help me make Poppy grow! I don’t really enjoy how I write her, but certain people seem to, so help me make them like her even more! I want Poppy to meet people, to fight, to fall in love, to learn new things.. I always have the rights to make it an AU or ignore it in the main scheme of things if I feel it doesn’t fit but, heck, still! It’s there and it’s a wonderful experience to have your muse learn and grow organically, writing with other people. :>

HONEST NOTE: I dialogue way too frickin’ much so, expect slower RPs with me, even if what we’re doing is action. I also do a LOT of OOC posts, way, way too often, and drop threads because I forget we had said threads going. However I do understand that I’d be a giant hypocrite if I didn’t also forgive those things, so, please take your time doing our stuff, and if you drop it it’s OK. And, with all that said, the only real way to irk me is by pushing too hard for my muse to like yours. Poppy is accepting and does like most people, but every once in a while she meets someone that irks her, so she might act a bit less friendly to those. Mostly mages. Please, never take it personally. Rules

Alright, so, I’ve had Some Issues in the past with roleplay (especially in WoW itself), so actually throwing myself into tumblr RP this emphatically is kinda new ground for me. As such, I’m setting up some ground rules.

First and foremost, seeing as I’ve had issues in the past, I may be selective with who I RP with. If you have Ideas For Shenanigans (TM), feel free to IM me, but please don’t be grumpy if I say no.

As I mention in the header, we’re multiverse friendly around here. The more I know about the ‘verse, the better I can RP in its confines. As for how Calc and Ril can get there? They’re engineers, and goblin engineers (discipline, not race, at least in Rilgon’s case) at that - it’s a miracle they stay in one plane on a day to day basis without blowing open holes to others. :P

Like most multi-muse blogs, if you send me asks, prompts, or similar without specifying someone, I’ll choose whether to reply with Calculine, Rilgon, or both. If you want someone specific to answer, please specify!

This is a side-blog but on a separate account, so I’ll be following you/liking your stuff/sending asks from this account. I’ve got my main blog in the header, so...

Do not bother trying to get the mun to post pictures for anything. I’ve had enough issues online with harassment and stalking that I’m incredibly skittish about who has pictures of me (read: basically no one).

If I stop replying to stuff, I guaran-damn-tee you I am not ignoring you. I’m pretty scatterbrained and forgetful, so P L E A S E poke me. Hell, poke me on my main blog for all I care - as long as you mention something about it being RP-related, that’s fine! I’d much rather a few extra asks in my main blog’s askbox than make people feel like I’m neglecting them.

Shipping.... eh. Rilgon’s canonically had a crush on Chromie basically as long as he’s been an active adventurer, so anything on that front is likely to be a fool’s errand. Calculine, on the other hand, has been so busy with academia and now learning about her Warlock self that she’s never really considered romance - that said, I am open to the idea with time and effort put into building the idea up. Any magically-appearing suitors that expect her to fall head-over-heels will probably just get introduced to Veeshak’s hammer. 

Doooon’t really expect fancy art from me, unfortunately. My artistic talents are effectively non-existent, so yeah. 99% text from me, sorry!

I’ll try my best to keep my OOC stuff tagged (”ooc tag”), but I’m not 100% on it. Like I said above, super scatterbrained and forgetful.

Similarly, anything NSFW - sinday ask answers, actual NSFW roleplay, what have you - is going to A) be behind a read-more, and B) will be tagged as NSFW. That, I’m going to basically ensure 100% on.
