Spicy headcanon: Ariel can keep teasing you for ages if he feels like it, and it satisfies him beyond words when you beg for him. It takes him a long time to give in, but he’s far more likely to give you what you need if you’re polite about it. A simple “please” and “thank you” can spare you from hours of frustration, and he always makes sure to praise you for your lovely manners.
