Now, I usually don't care what labels LGBTQIA+ people use as long as they aren't harmful. For example, neopronouns and xenogenders are fine in my book. However, there are some labels that are harmful, such as mspec and straight lesbians/gays, lesboys/turigirls and gaybians. I think this Carrd goes over all these labels very well. It also provides some alternative labels you can use, and there are some other Carrds at the end like it.

If you want to know how I feel about transid people, it's very simple. Terms like transabled and transracial are extremely offensive to disabled people and people of color. Transspecies and transage have been used by zoophiles and pedophiles to justify their attractions. Gender is mental, and therefore can be changed. This is not the case for age or race.

As for non-traumagenic systems, I'm going to keep this as short as possible, since I myself do not have DID. I am against endogenic systems and tulpas for many reasons. This Carrd debunks endogenic systems very well in my opinion. Regarding tulpas, here is a Google Doc in which Buddhist, Asian and Tibetan people have spoken out against tulpamancy, due to tulpas being a closed Buddhist practice.

In regards to proshippers…oh, boy. There are many reasons why proshippers are so harmful, but if I tried to address them all here, it would take too long. This Google Doc is perhaps the best source of information about why proshippers are bad.

I'm neutral on paraphilias unless they actively harm others. Paraphilias like pedophilia, zoophilia and necrophilia are examples of harmful paraphilias. People with these conditions should be seeking treatment.

What about transandrophobia and people who believe in it? I think this should be simple. The term transandrophobia was coined by a man with a fetish for correctively raping lesbians and many of the people who believe in it are transmisogynistic and lesbophobic. I think that should be enough of a reason as to why I don't support people who use it.

Once Hopper entered his establishment, he took a cigarette out of his pocket and placed it on his lips. Varian, his hired weapons specialist, was quick to call him out regarding lighting cigarettes near his working station. "Alright." He listened respectfully, placing his lighter back in his pocket. Hopper had seen interest in the boy's skills, especially because of the destruction in his wake. If he were to cultivate such an interest, he knew it would benefit him in the long run. "So, what are we working on?" Hopper walked to stand beside the boy, examining the array of metals in front of them. Varian was in charge of making sure each shipment was of a high-quality standard, and he was also given space to expand his "creativity" by providing him with land, gunpowder, and materials to his heart's content. This was his payment to Hopper for being in school. He was far from the violence and yet the mastermind of it all. "The concerns of my customers are heavy retaliation. The recoil could be improved. Have you considered that?" He asked, his hands in his pocket as he glanced at the boy. "And what do you think about bombs? Is that doable or far-fetched for now?"

Varian couldn’t possibly describe the amount of anger he felt. Anger at the royals for betraying him, anger at the guards for arresting him- even anger at himself for being stupid enough to get caught.

It was too much for him to stand. To much for him to keep pent up anymore. So standing before the Captain of the Guard, he took it all out on him.

“I had no choice! You- you gave me no choice!” He snapped, barely being restrained by the two guards behind him. “Nobody- not a single person in this kingdom wants to help me! I had to do it myself!”

He gave a bitter, hysterical laugh.

“My father has been trapped in amber for three months. Did you hear me, Captain? Three months! And nobody cares except for ME!”

Varian had escaped from prison. He’d grown desperate, feeling his sanity slipping the longer he was trapped there, though it hadn’t been as long as it might have seemed. What he’d done to escape had likely left him more hated in Corona than he already was, but that was a consequence he was willing to deal with.

It didn’t matter, anyway. Because as soon as he had gathered a few of his things from his home- His staff, for one. And what few of his alchemy materials hadn’t been damaged in the battle of Old Corona- he’d left, likely for good.

The choice he’d made had been a stupid one, most likely. But he’d done it. He’d decided to follow Rapunzel. At first, he still believed he hated her- But he saw it as one last shot, one last chance to find some answers. Not for his own sake, but for his father’s.

Catching up to the group had been a feat that had left the boy incredibly worn down and about ready to quit, but there was a streak of determination in him that wouldn’t let go. And somehow, he’d done it.

It was Rapunzel herself that he’d spotted, seemingly alone. Behind her, just out of her line of sight, the young alchemist watched her. He’d started out believing he still hated her. But in the time it had taken to catch up, he’d started to calm down, to reconsider how he actually felt.

And now maybe he detested the idea of staying with their group a little bit less. He doubted they would feel the same way, though. And he was incredibly glad that he’d apparently caught the princess alone, as she was the only one that he could possibly see being willing to listen.

And taking a deep breath, Varian stepped forward towards her.

“Rapunzel...?”
