mason was ready to rebuttal but kept his mouth shut. it was him who lead the vampires to their home, but he hadn't done it on purpose. he would never want his family to suffer because of him. and especially not to make his sister into one of them. "then i guess we both just made accidents. i didn't mean for what happened to you all. and i guess you didn't mean to kill me." he said through gritted teeth. she was entirely different now. truly a monster like the vampires had always been to them. "because you know this family doesn't do well with vampires. are you going to kill any of them too?"

"...and whose fault is it that i'm a vampire, mase?" him of all people being angry about her transition was ballsy as hell, she'd almost be impressed, if she had the capacity for that. his comments are easily shrugged off, because, really, she would have chosen to transition even without mason revealing what he'd done. considering her options were that or death, and she had no desire for the second? yeah, this would have happened with or without mason's demise. "i mean... sure. i'm in my seventies and i still look like this. why would i not want to show that off?"

"oh, here you are." mia crouched down to grab them as they'd fallen on the floor. she placed them back on the table. "they seemed to have fallen to the ground though, is that alright?"

"Now, where did my chopsticks go." Shi Mei said, feeling around the table for them. He's sure he put them on the table while fishing for napkins from his bag. Hopefully they rolled off and on the floor instead of stuck at home.

"yeah, sure sure." mouse nodded her head as her hands folded together. "look, if it doesn't work it's fine. i already don't remember it. not much is going to change that."

"yeah, yeah, lemme text her. they're probably asleep, but she'll get back to me soon enough." she did figure it'd be a bit, considering her sister's sleeping habits, but irina'd answer her text when she saw it. "no worries, i just don't want you to get all excited and then it turns out she can’t fix it."

mouse looked up from her computer when hearing their name called. the woman's face was not one that she recognized, but it felt familiar like she should. "hi?" she asked, slowly closing her laptop.

nesta smiled as soon as she saw her niece. with her own memory issues, she had no idea when the last time she actually saw the other was. she wasn't even sure the other would actually know who she was. "mouse?"

"the force." they repeated with a small nod. it didn't sound familiar to them at all. in fact only sounded like something people had on tv. "sure, sounds like it's a very dangerous ability." without their memory they didn't believe most of what they said, though assumed it was just an exaggeration. "pity the fool that falls for your elite mind control."

"It's something called the force. It's a powerful thing and certain individuals can control it. Use it. I am one of these people." Zash replied with a shrug. Unfortunately she would see the effects of his abilities soon. "Can do certain mind control, and they'd just let us walk by." A little chuckle left him. He had used that ability once or twice before back home. "Neither do I."

myri huffed with a roll of their eyes. "if this is just so you can keep up your pretense of being correct, you can drop the asshole act." they said with a raise of their eyebrow.

" not this time. it's grainy, and considering i've had my fair share of shitty alcohol...it could be better." and kaiden makes a point of wrinkling his nose, if only to antagonize a little more.

"james." natasha called with more seriousness behind their tone now, seeing as their playful manner only seemed to upset them. "i'm sorry i missed your call. i should've called you back."

" nevermind." and bucky is already moving away from natasha, not up for any sort of quips when he'd been genuinely worried, not that he would admit that.

natasha let the moment hang in silence for a few seconds before she reached a hand over to lay atop his. movements she might not have made if they had been home. but this was dc. and this wasn't the world they were used to. they were supposed to be free here.. right? to do what their hearts desired? "you mean a lot to me, james. i don't regret my actions before but... i am so sorry for whatever pain it caused you."

and bucky backs down, for once, not wanting to push her any further. he hadn't realized how much he was beginning to sound like steve these days. " of course i would. you-" and he doesn't know how to end that, doesn't know what else to state, so he clears his throat and looks away, figuring it was enough for now.

noela was aware of mary's distance that she kept with them all. knowing it wasn't her choice to be like them. but noela had love for all their coven, even the bratty victoria. "i think i know where anne and heidi live but that's it."

The hug was a bit surprising but Mary hugged the fellow vampire back regardless of how it felt. It was friendly and welcomed. She smiled a bit at the kindness. "We're almost all here," and even if she hadn't seen them yet, she couldn't help but to feel a bit better about how lost she felt in the strange, new city. "Where are they? Do you know?"

"hilda!" noela was thrilled seeing the woman who saved her again. she owed everything to her, the freedom she now had, her happiness. it all started when hilda saved her from the brothel. she pulls the woman into a hug. "i'm so happy to see you."

"sweetheart?" hilda called out with eyes; ones full of joyous surprise. "-i can't begin to describe how pleased I am to see you're back as well- i'm so sorry for what they did to you." she assured, placing her arms upon the other's shoulders.

"i just wanted to get more time in with nature i suppose." she responded as she walked by her friend. "i spend so much time cramped up in that office."

" as ready as i'll ever be. what made you want to go hiking?" breha closed the last zipper on her backpack, before she swung it back around and threaded her arm through the strap.

"well, while i had no idea who i really was, that woman seemed to like baking as she had the time for it." padme laughed softly as she wandered the grounds. "have you tried? once being here i mean."

"I think we both need it, dear." Satine smiled at her dear friend. Besides Obi Wan she was probably closest to Padme. She also knew they could both work themselves to death so it would be good for both of them. "Didn't know you could bake? Sounds wonderful."

"you're alright." padme brushed the apology off as she felt there was no need for one. accidents happen and this place was full of people and busy. "the sight is beautiful isn't it?" it was partly why padme liked this area. the nature reminded her of home.

"oh fudge sticks- i'm so sorry." lucy mused; as she was too distracted by - seeing the flowers - and the nature surrounding the area. it was all so lively- so different compared to the dust and rot she saw before- maybe living somewhere that wasn't a vault wasn't too bad- but she wouldn't let her thoughts wander too far yet. "-I should be more careful and watch where i'm going ."

"we always do." their lives were never easy to begin with. but it was survivable. and they wanted to build a home despite the rocky temperature of the galaxy. "you've got good reason to be a proud mom, ahsoka." padme smiles as she nudges the other's side. "even if we all need a break." she pulls out the wine and glasses, setting them on the table.

"it's not, but we'll survive it as best we can." they always managed to pull through alright, even if it took them time to get their memories sorted sometimes. "never enough mom-ing, if it means i get a break from mom-ing." she laughed a bit, unsure herself if this was in reference to her siblings or her own kids. "oh, i love you so much."

"oh... yeah!" paige didn't want to show the surprise they'd felt at hearing it. but most people were different. had their own way of showing affection. "it totally sounds like something."

"really." she felt cheeks burning a pink hue; it almost hurt the way the heat was coming forward. "-we haven't done either of those per say... but the chemistry is there, -she's going to teach me archery- and i'm going to teach her martial arts, that's something right?"

"i know, it sounds totally crazy." peter knew that he'd have to go out of his way to prove this one true but he'd take the time to explain. however long it took. "i mean, i wouldn't have believed it if i didn't live it myself. i think i met your peter." his hands wrung together as he walked them into his apartment after closing his door. "he's a great guy. i was able to come up with some real awesome things because of him and another peter. i know he cared about you a lot.." peter was heart broken as far as he could tell. and saved his girlfriend's life. "he saved my mj." he then added afterwards.

Gwen stops and turns back around to face him when he steps out to her and begins to explain. While the idea of multiple Peter Parkers obviously confused her, she gives a very clear breath of relief when he says it wasn't the afterlife. "You know this sounds crazy right? But then again, with as crazy as our lives got after he got bit... it somehow also makes complete sense." She says with a bit of a light but pained chuckle. Gwen looks around briefly before looking back to Peter. "I will, thank you. It would be really helpful to understand what is going on. And, to know whatever you might know about my Peter, if anything." Her smile and gaze turn a bit sad as she tries to keep her sadness at bay. "I see him in you a bit already, the way you care."

rocky sighed as they folded their arms. "come on, you're not really going to try and pull that are you?" they raised an eyebrow up at them. "pretending not to remember? you can't avoid this, ari. be so fucking serious please?"

"...weird phrasing, but okay." she replies, one brow raising at the odd words. "i... don't know what happened, so i definitely don't know why we'd need to talk about it, but you're welcome to try and explain." clearly it was something bothering the other, and it'd be easier to clarify if she knew what was going on.
