i hate jeff bezos so deeply and its for an extra reason than all the usual reasons to hate jeff bezos ie the new shipping policy is fucking me over
used to be that if you got to $25 you could get free shipping. the number has now risen to $35. also, if you had an order that qualified for free shipping, you could add to that order within 24 hours and get free shipping on those items as well since it was all going to the same place. NOT ANYMORE
consider if you are Very Rural and want to buy an item that costs $10. because you are rural, the shipping comes out to about $6-$7. you are almost doubling the price of this item. (even worse if the item you are buying IS $7 or less - then you are doubling or more than doubling its price.) if there was ANY way to buy it locally you would not be buying it online for this very reason.
but with $25 free shipping, if you needed anything else, you could buy just 1-2 more items and get it shipped FREE, which is a great deal bc i don't usually impulse purchase but especially not on amazon BECAUSE of shipping fees. i usually do buy 2-3 things at a time. (even better if you were going to pay $7 shipping on an item that was $18 or more; whatever you put in your cart to get to $25 at that point is basically free.) yes, it takes a week to get here (again: rural), but you have chosen to pay with wait time instead of money. 10% sales tax gets your shit up to $28ish bucks and you're golden.
but NOW you have to get it up to $35. by the time you have enough stuff in your cart (and it is harder to fill up your cart to $35 when you don't impulse purchase) and pay the 10% sales tax, you're at $38 if you're lucky - i often have to go a dollar or two over and wind up paying $40 or more. which is. not quite double. of what i used to do.
FURTHERMORE, i am STILL paying with my time - i still have to wait a week for that $40 order. my ONLY alternative is paying $7 shipping on a $10 item (again, almost doubling the price) OR driving hours out of town in order to find it in a store OR paying $15 a month for amazon prime, a service which is useless to someone who is both poor and only orders from amazon a few times per year.
with the old system, i could pay with my money or with my time, but with the new system, i can pay with my money or i can pay with my time and also still my money, just slightly less. it's a no-win scenario. kobayashi maru of online ordering. i FUCKING hate it here

PSA on second hand shopping
more people need to shop at thrift stores, rummage sales, estate sales, consignment, flea markets, and the like. I don't care if you can afford new stuff, if you think it's dirty, if you don't feel like spending the time sifting through things you don't want. fast fashion and other quick moving industries are killing us.
so many thrift shops are begging people to buy more, and they have to stop taking donations for a while. a lot of rummage sale sellers will throw out what they don't sell by the end of the weekend, and they can negotiate and give you deals..
even if you don't want clothes, chances are you will find something you needed anyways, or find something you didn't know you needed. I promise you can find time in your hurried schedule to make a weekend out of rummage saling, and it's so much more fun then taking a minute to add a new shirt to your cart on amazon.
and while you're at it, set up a rummage sale of your own if you can, even in favor of listing it online. there's people in your community who will take a weekend to check it out, and those people are often in need of cheaper options for things like clothes, shoes, kitchenware, etc.
and please for the love of god if am item is still in working condition, use it as long as possible, or give it/sell it away if you must. do not throw away perfectly good items.
buying second hand saves the earth

the greendale 7 deadly sins
I did these based on the characters' weak points if u know what I mean?
britta- pride
- she is confident in herself without reason. at the beginning of the show, she seems confident and smart. Later, we find out about her failed activism, her inability to back up her statements, and her shaky relationship with her parents. Not to mention the whole therapist situation.
troy- envy
- it's discussed in the show that troy and abed spend too much time together. they've mentioned how much his identity was tied to abed. he wanted to be like abed, spend a lot of time with him, live with him. he wanted abed to know he was out there somewhere and look for him! he had envy knowing that if he met abed, he would have been so much different in his high school years.
abed- gluttony
- not in the sense that most media portrays gluttony, but it's also depicted as lack of self restraint. Abed often has to learn when he's going too far such as hiring celebrity lookalikes. Frankie ends up teaching him to rely on things other than TV, like he did in the past.
jeff- sloth
- this one is self explanatory I think. Jeff does everything he can to do less work both as a student and as a teacher, even as a friend. he would only break into a light jog!
annie- lust
- as much as I hate to say it, annie did spend a lot of the time wanting a relationship with Jeff. though even even admitted it wasn't even jeff that she wanted, I was just the idea of love. but even at times when she isn't going after Jeff, she's thinking about romance in the future, like her missing lover tapes. she's very anxious about her future in this sense.
shirley- wrath
- shirley has an entire backstorys worth of anger issues. she started as stabbing kids with Foosball sticks, to trashing slaters office in the name of Jeff. now, she takes out her anger on more organized matters such as any of the schoolwide games, or various heists the group does. she definelty expresses her wrath healthier than she did in the past, but it's still very intense compared to her usual self
pierce- greed
- he wants everything. he wanted the handshake, he wanted Shirley's sandwiches, and most of all he wanted constant inclusion. But none of it was things he deserved, given how he treated his friends. And if he didn't get it, he forced his way into it (with money usually)
feel free to add on your opinions :)

How to Recover Abandoned Carts in WooCommerce?
Tumblr media
It’s not uncommon for ecommerce shoppers to abandon carts. You may not know it, but your store might also be suffering from carts being abandoned. This problem can be addressed however. To start, you must determine why your customers abandon their carts.
Why online shoppers abandon carts and what you can do about it?
There are various reasons why online shoppers abandon their carts. We lay out the most common ones and what you can do to address them.
Checkout is Too Complicated
Your customers will nitpick and that is to be expected. When you make your customers jump hoops during checkout, you’re not doing them a favor. Your checkout should be quick and straightforward. If you must add some other stuff that will complicate checkout, consider if you can add it on the thank you page instead. The thank you page is the page where the customer is redirected to after making a successful purchase. If you need help tweaking your thank you page, the Wooassist team can help.
Users Need to Create an Account to Check Out
Internet users are already burned out having to create an account for each internet service that they use. Don’t add to that burden. Don’t force your customers to create an account if it’s not necessary. To enable guest checkouts on WooCommerce, go to your WordPress Dashboard, click on WooCommerce > Settings. Under the Account and Privacy tab, enable “Allow customers to place orders without an account”. You can tweak other account related settings here to your liking.
Tumblr media
Too Many Checkout Form Fields
The default WooCommerce checkout page is good enough as it is. There is no need to add more fields unless necessary. If you’ve edited your checkout page before to add some unnecessary fields, look into it and consider removing it.
Unexpected Charges
Customers will abandon your checkout when they see the shipping fee. No one will force you to offer free shipping if it will make your business unsustainable. There are however some things that you can do to reduce abandoned carts as a result of shipping and other fees. People now are more accepting of shipping fees. For other fees, be transparent from the get-go. If you charge taxes, handling fees, and other fees, make it clear starting from the product page that you charge these fees. If they are suddenly greeted by these fees on checkout, it will look like unscrupulous practice.
Too Many Clicks to Checkout
Reducing cart abandonment is all about simplifying your product purchase process. Ideally, it should not take more than three clicks for a customer to check out. If it takes four clicks to check out, that is one click too many. Get rid of unnecessary barriers to completing checkout.
Don’t Make it Hard to Contact You
Some of your prospective customers will look for your contact details before they make a purchase. If they added a product to their cart but could not find your contact information or even a contact us page, there is a high likelihood that that user will abandon that cart. To prevent this from happening, make sure you have a contact us page. Even better, if you can add your email or phone number on your WooCommerce store’s header.
Payment Issues
Another common reason for abandoning shopping carts is payment issue. When the customer tries to pay for his/her order and it fails, you can bet that cart will be abandoned. The solution here is simple. Offer more than one mode of payment. Some common payment channels you can use are Paypal, Stripe, Authorize.net, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, and Square.
Other Things You Can Do to Reduce Cart Abandonment
Show Security Certificates
To be able to sell your products or services online, you’ll need to be able to establish that you are trustworthy. You can show security certificates and security seals on your checkout page to improve your trust rating. Some security seals that you can add to your site as Norton, McAfee and TRUSTe.
Offer Free Shipping
Free shipping can significantly reduce your cart abandonment rates. However, not every business can make a profit when offering free shipping. As an alternative, you can offer free shipping when your customers meets a required minimum order value or quantity. This strategy can also help improve your average order value.
Offer a Money-Back Guarantee
Most consumer laws dictate that you should have a return policy anyway. So there’s no reason not to do it. Making your money-back guarantee known shows your prospective customers that you have faith in the quality of your product or service. Don’t worry about the people that might abuse your money-back guarantee. It hardly ever happens. And if it happens a lot, the problem might be your product.
Improve Your Page Load Speeds
If your site is slow, some of your prospective customers might get frustrated and abandon their carts. Make sure your site is fast.
How to Recover Abandoned Carts
There are many ways to recover abandoned carts. Some of the more common methods are remarketing and abandoned cart emails.
Using Remarketing to Recover Abandoned Carts
There are many platforms that you can use for remarketing. Essentially, remarketing works by saving a cookie on the user’s browser so you can show them your tailored ads. Neil Patel details how you can use remarking on Adwords to recover abandoned carts. Facebook is another platform that you can use for remarketing. SproutSocial details how to use remarketing on Facebook.
Using Abandoned Cart Emails to Recover Abandoned Carts
Abandoned cart emails send your customers a reminder email if they did not complete their purchase. For guest checkouts, this requires that the user must at least have entered his/her email address. This won’t be an issue if you require your customers to register before making a purchase. Do note however that requiring customers to create an account may hurt your conversion rates. There are a lot of abandoned cart email plugins that work for WooCommerce, you just have to find the plugin that works for your needs.
Recover abandoned carts and improve your sales by implementing these strategies. If you have any questions, you can post a comment below. If you need help setting up abandoned cart emails or anything else, you can send us email.

if devotion is a river then i’m floating away
anonymous: If you’re still taking prompts: Jake/Amy period comfort fic (cause I girl is suffering with these cramps)
in which i project my (and evidently this anon’s and prob everyone’s) desires to have my own jake peralta take care of me while i’m on my period into a fic! 💕 title from ‘love you for a long time’ by maggie rogers ✨
read on ao3
The worst part is Amy was really excited for date night.
(Admittedly, that’s the second-worst part. The worst part is definitely the awful pain in her abdomen that hasn’t relented even after a long, hot bath and a Midol.)
Still, she was really looking forward to whatever romantic activities Jake planned for the evening (or completely unromantic, she would honestly take hot dogs from the cart near his place and making out on his old, musty couch). She hasn’t seen him - properly seen him, outside of work - all week due to an insane caseload for both of them.
Incidentally, spending an entire week without your boyfriend sucks a lot more than it normally would when you just spent six months without him.
The last thing she wants is to cancel their plans, but she can’t even bring herself to get dressed, let alone go to dinner or a movie. Begrudgingly, she sends him a quick text before going to scrounge herself dinner from whatever’s in the fridge.
Sorry babe, I think I have to take a rain check on tonight. Bad cramps. I’ll call you tomorrow xo
After a very underwhelming dinner of a few saltine crackers and half a banana, Amy makes her way to the couch and turns on a home renovation show, hoping it will distract her from the perfect night she was supposed to be having with Jake.
Just before the big reveal of the couple’s newly-renovated San Fransisco townhouse, a sharp knock on her door forces her to drag herself off the couch. Expecting an Amazon delivery person or a neighbour asking her to collect their mail or something along those lines of banality, Amy sighs and swings open the door.
She’s not expecting Jake, wearing the suit that she only gets to see on fancy date nights, precariously balancing several paper bags in his arms.
“Jake, what are you doing here?” she exclaims, taking one of the bags from him before he drops it.
“Bringing supplies, duh,” Jake replies, striding past her to dump the rest of the stuff on the table. “From the drugstore - Midol, Advil, tampons. Chocolate and tea from the grocery store. And-” He gestures to the bag she’s holding. “That one’s dinner.”
She opens the bag and the unmistakable scent of pierogis floods her senses. Oh, he’s scoring major boyfriend points for this one.
“Jake, this is so sweet, I-” Her eyes flit down to his suit again and then widen immediately with concern. “Crap, did you not get my text before you left to pick me up? I really thought I would’ve caught you in time.”
“Oh, I left early to pick these up before our date.” Jake grins, pulling a bouquet of roses from the remaining mystery bag, walking them over to her. In a terrible attempt at a posh British accent, he adds, “For you, my dear.”
Some combination of Jake’s warm gaze and soft smile and this big romantic gesture makes Amy’s eyes begin to well with tears beyond her control.
Jake carefully places the flowers back down on the table, his brows knitting together as he rubs her upper arms gently. “What’s wrong, Ames?”
“Nothing, I just-“ She shakes her head. “You’re here and I missed you so much and I feel like we’ve barely seen each other since you got back and I just - it’s probably just hormones.”
She wipes her eyes and attempts to laugh it off, but Jake looks at her with complete sincerity and reaches upward to gently cup her face in his hands. She melts into his touch, so warm and familiar even after all this time apart.
“I missed you too.”
He leans in to kiss her and she meets him halfway, slowly rising up to her tiptoes so she has better access. She gradually, reluctantly pulls away, pecking his lips quickly before lowering herself and looping her arms around his neck.
“You know, you really didn’t have to do all this.”
“I wanted to,” he assures her, rubbing her forearm. “I wasn’t just going to let you sit at home feeling crappy by yourself.”
Amy smiles, playing with the hair at the back of his neck. “You’re the sweetest.”
“It was also cause I wanted to see you, though, so it’s like fifty-percent for selfish reasons.”
She rolls her eyes and leans in to kiss him again, but a sharp pain in her lower abdomen makes her recoil and grab her stomach.
“You okay?” Jake asks quickly, his hands moving to steady her. She nods, leaning into him for support. “Why don’t you get settled in on the couch with those pierogis and I’ll go get changed into couch-appropriate clothes?”
Amy smiles and lets him lead her to the couch, placing the takeout bag and a couple of plates in front of her before disappearing to her bedroom for a moment. She manages to devour half of her portion of food in the time it takes for him to change and return, wearing sweats and a t-shirt from the designated Jake drawer in her dresser. It’s yet another reminder of the silliness of their disagreement over whose apartment to move into - sure, she loves her place and it’s indisputably better than his, but she would take that tiny, unsafe, dirty apartment if it meant coming home to this every night.
She shifts over on the couch to make room for him to join her and he plops down next to her, forking over a few of his pierogis from the container onto her plate when he notices she’s nearly finished.
“Sorry this isn’t the romantic evening you had planned,” Amy says once they’re done eating, placing her empty plate on the coffee table and leaning into his side.
“Nah, this is like, the most romantic night ever,” Jake mumbles against her hair, and she can’t detect even a hint of sarcasm. “I wish you didn’t feel gross, though. Is there anything I can do?”
Amy thinks for a moment. “You could grab my heating pad from the hallway closet? It’s on the top shelf.”
“On it.”
Jake springs to his feet and returns with the soft grey heating pad, which she can see he’s already turned on to warm up for her. Amy immediately slaps it on her stomach, appreciating the instant relief.
“Anything else, m’lady?”
Already laying down and curling up into the most comfortable position possible right now, Amy nods and pats the space behind her. “You can spoon me while we watch that documentary I was talking about on the history of American spelling bees.”
Jake complies without missing a beat (their usual bets and competitions to decide who gets to pick the movie are put on hold whenever one of them isn’t feeling well) and slides into the space behind her on the couch, immediately wrapping his arms around her.
As soon as she selects the title on Netflix she shifts further into his embrace. As much as she has science to thank for the invention of Midol, she’s always doubly grateful for her boyfriend around this time of the month. Without fail, from the very early stages of their relationship, he’s always been there to give her a back rub or stop at the store to buy her tampons or comfort her during one of her hormone-fuelled breakdowns.
It’s incredibly unfair, she thinks, that she had to endure six months of these emotional breakdowns - made exponentially worse by his absence - without him there to hold her and kiss her hair and tell her it would be okay. There’s a lot of injustice in the world, though, and at least the universe seems to be trying to make amends by granting her perfect moments like these, where all the pain fades away and all she can focus on is his arms wrapped around her.
She can feel him rubbing her back gently with one hand while the other pulls her hair out of the way to lay a kiss on her shoulder, and involuntary goosebumps cover her skin.
“Thank you for coming over,” she whispers, already beginning to feel drowsy from the medication and the relaxation Jake’s presence brings, despite the riveting documentary they’re watching. “I missed this. Missed you.”
She’s yet to find the limit to the number of times she can tell him that since he’s come home. If it’s anywhere near the amount of times she thought about how badly she longed to hear his voice or feel his touch again while he was gone, she figures she must still have thousands of ‘I missed you’s waiting to be said.
“You saw me yesterday, clingy much?” Jake teases, one of his signature attempts to lighten the mood, but his hand still reaches for hers and tightly interlocks their fingers.
“Not what I meant,” Amy quips.
“I know, babe.” He lays another feather-light kiss to her shoulder. “Me too.”
She continues to revel in the feeling of his warm breath against the back of her neck and his gentle kneading of her lower back, the intimate attention and overall feeling of safety slowly coaxing her to sleep.
Perhaps he can sense that she’s fighting to stay awake, to spend as many waking hours with him as possible, because he whispers “sleep, Ames” against the shell of her ear.
“I love you,” she murmurs, pulling his arm tighter around her before giving in to the lure of sleep.
Jake carefully grabs the blanket from the back of the couch and drapes it over both of them, burying his face in her hair once he’s situated.
“I love you.”

What Lauren Conrad Can’t Live Without
Tumblr media
If you’re like us, you’ve probably wondered what famous people add to their carts. Not the JAR brooch and Louis XV chair but the hairspray and the electric toothbrush. We asked Lauren Conrad — whose brand, Lauren Conrad Beauty, launched this fall and just expanded to skin care — about the coffee maker, hair clip, and wine she can’t live without.
Tumblr media
Kristin Ess Full Size French Pin Set $12
I’ve worked with Kristin since I was 20 — she’s amazing and her whole line is literally the only thing I use on my hair: her shampoo, conditioner, stylers, everything. My hair is pretty thick. After my first pregnancy, it all fell out. I’ve been able to hang on to a lot of it this time around, but it still has changed a lot. Kristin explained to me that the texture of your hair changes every seven years and it changes during pregnancy. So mine has become a bit thicker — I have a lot more hair than I did before — with more of a natural wave to it. I recently grew it long enough to really do a top knot again, and this French pin makes that so easy. It doesn’t cause breakage like an elastic can. I use it every single day. Even if I’m not wearing my hair up, when I get home at the end of a day, I twist it up when I walk in the door because I live with a one-year-old hair puller. I don’t even look in a mirror to do it.

Kinto 4 Cup Brewer Stand Set $188
The first thing I do every morning is make coffee at around 6:30. Years ago I had a Keurig in my kitchen, and when one of my husband’s best friends stayed with us, he very kindly said to me, “If I sent you more ecofriendly ideas for coffee, would you be open to them?” He got me thinking. The next weekend we were going up the coast for a wedding and we stopped in this small boutique, where I saw this little coffee maker. I was like, “Oh, this is so beautiful.” It doesn’t require anything, including filters. I got it and have used it ever since. There’s a whole process to it: I grind my own coffee, and in order to use this, you need a more coarsely ground coffee. Then I pour a bit of boiling water over it, let the coffee bloom for a minute, then pour the rest in and watch it make my coffee. It’s definitely more involved than a regular coffee maker or a Keurig, but I actually think it makes a nicer cup. It looks better on your counter, too, and best of all, it’s a little nicer to the Earth. Mine has held up for a few years. We did have to replace one piece because my husband dropped it while washing it, but other than that, it has really lasted.

Kirkland Signature Organic Virgin Coconut Oil $16
I love this one from Costco because it’s a really good value. I do use it to cook, but I mainly use it for baths. At the end of the day, after we put the boys down, I try to take a 20-minute bath. It’s my end-of-the-day thing — I usually have a glass of wine in there, too. And I always put a bit of coconut oil in the bath while it’s running. The last thing I want to do is apply moisturizer after a bath because I’m so relaxed and tired, so putting coconut oil in there keeps my skin nice and hydrated.

Health-Ade Pink Lady Apple Kombucha (6-Pack) $30
Instead of having a coffee in the afternoon, I’ve switched to having kombucha. It’s better for digestion and whatnot. I have a fridge stocked with kombucha, that’s how much I drink it. I treat kombucha almost like I would beer — I have my go-tos, but I like trying different ones, and I always come back to my favorites. This is one of them. I found it at my local grocery store. It’s sort of a middle-of-the-road one in terms of sweetness, for when I don’t want anything too sugary. It’s tasty. If I don’t want to try something new, I go for this because I know I’ll enjoy it.

Philips Avance XL Air Fryer $300
I mainly use it to reheat things. For example, if I’m making a batch of waffles, I’ll freeze the extras, then pop one in when I want it. The air fryer defrosts and crisps it up. It also brings leftover fries back to life, which is honestly enough of a reason to own one. This model is the newer version of mine, because when I went to look up mine, I only found used ones on eBay. I guess I’ve really had it for a minute. But mine is still working well, I don’t have a reason to replace it. I got it about two years ago when I was pregnant. Some woman at a talk about how to healthily feed small children said we all needed to get an air fryer because it makes things so easy. Recently I did a Zoom wine date with one of my good friends and she texted me that she was running late; she was like, “I just finally unwrapped my air fryer from Christmas.” I responded with a short novel about my air fryer, outlining everything she needs to do and try. I’m obsessed with it.

Sweet Laurel: Recipes for Whole Food, Grain-Free Desserts $28 now 25% off $21
Our whole family is dairy-free. We have been for years. My oldest son is actually lactose-intolerant, but we’ve all struggled with dairy, so we just cut it out of our diet. Cutting out dairy is pretty easy, but it becomes a challenge with baking. Sweet Laurel’s recipes are all dairy-free; she’s also grain-free, so it’s all almond flour. The main ingredients she uses are almond flour, maple syrup, and Himalayan salt. All of her recipes are really easy, too — I pull out cookbooks for dessert a lot, but sometimes recipes have so many steps that I get overwhelmed. The last thing I made from here was a strawberry cake for my son’s birthday. I handed him the book, told him to pick what he wanted, and he chose that. It was dyed pink with beets. You don’t taste them, they just made the whole cake pink.

Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Full Strength Exfoliating Mask $48
I love a mask that gives me instant results. I don’t have very sensitive skin, but when I take this off, my face is bright red. It does burn a little, but I don’t mind. I really feel like it’s working. I only use it once a week — I do it at night and the next morning I wake up and my skin feels great. It’s a nice refresher and takes away that dull feeling I can get. I’m trying to do as much as I can at home — I haven’t been able to get facials or see any specialist — and this is the closest I’ve gotten so far to instant results.

Eden Brothers Organic Roma Tomato Seeds $4
We started gardening this year as a way to pass the time. I’ve gotten really into it. I mean, it’s definitely taking over our yard, which is pretty small, but it’s really fun and strangely rewarding. When I went to buy seeds, Eden Brothers had the best selection. We’re growing green beans, tomatillos, raspberries, blackberries, onions, lots of tomatoes — cherry, heirloom, and Roma tomatoes — corn, and pumpkins. Oh, and lots of herbs and stuff, too. We harvested our first corn not long ago. It was weird. The flavor was good, but I don’t know, I’m still learning. I think it maybe was overwatered. I thought gardening would be simple — it’s not, but it has been a really fun hobby. I’m sure I’ll get better with time. My 3-year-old son goes out with me every morning to check the garden. He’s way more inclined to eat something off the vine than he is off a dinner plate. And I love that he gets to see where food comes from at a young age.

Avaline White Blend $20
When I heard about this wine, I was really curious. Katherine Power, one of the founders, is always coming out with different brands and she always does such a nice job with her launches. I don’t like when wine is too sweet or fruity, and I prefer organic wine — if it isn’t organic, I tend to get a headache. This one tastes amazing and has beautiful packaging. I like their white wine best; I actually just ordered a whole case.

Lauren Conrad Beauty The Lip & Cheek Tint $20
My first pregnancy, which was four years ago, was honestly the first time when I was aware of what I was putting on my body and the effects those products could have. I transitioned all my products to clean and vegan, but I hated feeling like I had to compromise — I wanted clean lipsticks with staying power that had really great pigment and felt good. One of the reasons why I came out with my brand now, as opposed to a few years ago, is because I decided if I’m going to do a beauty line, I want to do it correctly. Everyone involved with my line really stays informed on ingredients and the market, so we can create products you can feel good about using. A multitasker is our target customer because I’m one myself. This tint is one of my favorite products for that reason. I use it every day throughout the day. It’s something you can apply to a bare base, you can layer it over light makeup and build it up. It’s about whatever works for you.

1. Create an Eishops Account
Firstly, sellers and buyers both need to create an account to commence all their activities from there. To create a seller account, you click on https://eishops.com/
2. Buyer Profile
To use the site as a customer, you can either browse the site to check out various categories of products being offered to see which items are available at what prices, or create a customer account in no time.
Creating a Customer Account
On the right-hand side of the homepage of Eishops is a tab “Hello, Sign In," under this tab is Account, which can be clicked to access a drop-down menu
Click on “New customer? Start Here," and you will land on a webpage to create an account as a customer. Fill in your details, and within a minute, your profile will be ready for you to start shopping.
If you like a certain product and intend to buy it, there are two options available:
Add to cart to continue browsing and checkout once you have added everything you need.
In case of a prompt buying decision, you can click on “Buy now” right next to the product of your desire, and this will direct you to a webpage where you can check out after you have filled in necessary credentials for the transaction purposes.
Paying for the products you buy is fairly easy, as you only need a credit/debit card, or a PayPal or Google Pay account to finance your transactions.
3. Seller Profile
As you navigate the site’s homepage, you will see the “Sell on Eishops” tab on the screen's top right-hand side. Click on that, and the server will direct you to a new webpage.
Scroll down on this webpage and click on “Start Selling." Eishops will ask you to create an account. The sign-up process is fairly easy and quick. Enter the credentials required and be mindful of not to share your password and security details with anyone.
When Does Selling Start?
Once the required credentials and documents have been shared with Eishops and Eishops has verified your details and approved your seller profile, it will be complete, and you can start listing and selling your items.
4. Products Listing
Once your account has been created and verified, the next step is to start listing and selling your products on Eishops.
Like selling on other platforms like Amazon and eBay, Eishops wants sellers to employ best, and related SEO and Meta details to find the most suitable keywords for their products and list optimally to aid the buyers in scrutinizing their product search and promptly decide what to buy.
How to List Products on Eishops?
Product listing is an effortlessly smooth procedure.
In terms of the number of listings allowed to each seller, there are no restrictions, except that all sellers must have at least one listing item to begin selling their merchandise on Eishops; after that, you can add unlimited products to sell.
Product Research
To effectively flourish your e-commerce business, it is necessary for you, as a seller, to evaluate which products are high in-demand and whether there are many sellers online for the same product that you are offering, or not.
Surf the web to conduct good research for the type of product you are offering, see its demand prospects, and the number of sellers offering the same product.
Focus on selling items that have a high number of reviews on other platforms; this will ensure that a certain product has compelling consumer demand, and you can definitely profit off selling it.
Choose products that have a lesser number of sellers online. Where there are many sellers for a homogenous product, there is going to be massive competition, and the market share will be divided, not being as lucrative for one seller.
Product Details
Sellers are supposed to mention all the details of their products, from the size, make and model, to the color, Etc.
For sellers' ease, Eishops recommends using free keyword research tools like Google Keyword Planner and Answer the Public or the paid tools for the most effective SEO implementation to find the best keywords that customers will most likely use.
Enlist all the keywords relevant to your product and have the highest number of searches, short in length, and direct.
Eishops requires the sellers to write effective product descriptions by using keywords in the description, product features, and the title. Avoid using too many keywords in one line.
The product description should be direct and easy on the eyes for the customers to read.
Customers will not want to waste their time trying to understand your product description or title; therefore, make sure the details are comprehensive, yet engaging to help you attract more buyers than just window-shoppers.
Product Classification
The seller must classify each product according to the specific and accurate categories. This will enable the customers to find the desired items that you have enlisted easily.
How to Enhance Product Listing?
Effective business conduction initiates from appropriately managed and optimized product listing on any e-commerce platform.
Classify your products accurately and inappropriate categories
Utilize keyword research tools to employ suitable keywords
Write descriptions and titles that are readable and highlight the specific details concisely.
Use high-quality media – images and videos – to compel customer satisfaction.
Product listing is the front-end of your online business; if it is not accessible, comprehensive, and compelling to the customers browsing on Eishops, your business will not flourish as you may desire.
Spend the most time on researching your product and listing it effectively.
How to Add Products to the Site?
To add products to the site, follow these steps:
Log in to your Eishops Seller account, click on the “Catalog and Inventory” tab,
Click on "Add products."
Next, click on "List a new product," this will redirect you to the product listing,
Click on "Create a new product listing."
Select the best possible category for your product and provide all the details, as aforementioned, once your products are enlisted on Eishops.
Click on "Save," and now your product has been added to the Eishops site.
What is Next, After Listing the Products?
Once your product has been listed on Eishops’ market, these products will start appearing on eishops.com as buyers will browse through these to purchase.
When a potential buyer places an order, sellers will receive a confirmation message from the Eishops Seller Portal.
Furthermore, it will be the seller’s duty to adequately deliver the products to the buyers and ensure that the delivery and product match the quality and standards of Eishops.
As soon as the buyer receives the product and is satisfied with its quality and condition, Eishops will pay the seller the amount, with a 10% marketing fee deducted from the amount.

when i become god one of my first actions is going to be yelling at amazon about user experience
WHY DO YOU HAVE LIKE, FIVE DIFFERENT MECHANISMS FOR ORDERING GROCERIES, AND WHY DO ALL OF THEM SUCK *SO MUCH*.  let me specify that i want GREEN bananas.  let me ask for less than THREE POUNDS of chicken breast.  let me look at the items in my cart in fewer than 5 clicks!  when i get to my cart why are the items all sorted in a random order!!!  i truly do not understand the difference between prime now, amazon fresh, prime pantry, and whatever the fuck this new whole foods cart business is, and i also do not understand the logic behind which of these things get commingled in search.*  and WHAT IS WITh the dark pattern where i try to check out my “whole foods cart” you try to tempt me with expensive fresh fruit.  like, chill out, satan
god i miss instacart.  actually i literally would rather buy my groceries physically at a store, but i have chronic fatigue and no car, so :/
*if i have already built up a bit of a cart at whole foods prime now, i don’t particularly care to have amazon prime now items, which will be shipped separately, included in search unless i specifically take some kind of action, capiche?
(for context, i do all my grocery shopping at whole foods, because i have a lot of dietary restrictions and i also am an insufferable hipster about goat cheese, and instacart USED to be able to ship from whole foods before whole foods got bought by amazon.  my ~issues~ around food are not helped by the fact that getting groceries is now, like, twice as difficult for no reason.)
(also for real the main issue with prime now is that none of their delivery people apparently read the delivery instructions, ever, or any other kind of instructions, or the ADDRESS, so they always get lost halfway across campus and then call me for directions but i can never understand wtf they’re telling me because auditory processing disorder so i have to go and find them from the helpful little gps tracker map.  this is the last step of the ordering experience and it is by FAR the most godawfully frustrating, and uhh, seems like bad strategy to have the last step of your interactions with the user also be the WORST step, but what do i know, i am but a humble robot farmer and not a fancy ux designer at amazon dot com)
ALSO INSTACART HAS A NEAT FEATURE WHERE YOU COULD ADD STUFF YOU FORGOT TO YOUR ORDER IF IT HASN’T BEEN PULLED YET.  LAST TIME I FORGOT SOMETHING IN A PRIME NOW ORDER IT ENDED IN TEARS:
1. i try to place as many of This One Very Specific Microwave Dinner That Is Important To My Functioning in my cart as i am allowed to.  the maximum is 2.  i am well aware that if i go and directly walk to a whole foods i can put like 6-8 of those bastards in my cart.  however, only 2 per day are Set Aside to Stock Prime Now Orders, which seems kind of dumb to me.
2. i place my order
3. i am like, oh shit i forgot spinach or some shit.  on the order page, it specifically says that you should cancel your order and re-make it if you forgot something.  i sigh, cancel my order, and go about adding everything back into my cart in quantity.
3A. you may have noticed that, like, regular amazon is optimized to put one of a thing in your cart, which has carried over into the various grocery amazons, even though getting groceries usually requires more than 1 of something.  instacart deals with this elegantly.  with amazon i generally find myself adding shit to the cart in one tab and leaving the cart page open in another tab to edit quantities.
4. i can’t add the Very Specific Microwave Dinner to my cart, because they are out of stock, because all two of them that i had in my earlier order are still on reserve.  the same thing happened with like another 1/3 of my cart btw.  i have absolutely no idea how prime now even functions if multiple people order things
5. i start crying, panic, and physically make a phone call to support to complain about it, which should tell you how fucking angry i was at this time
6. after a couple hours of despair, the hold has been lifted on my Very Specific Microwave Dinner.  i place the order again.
7. the next day, the delivery guy gets really confused trying to get to 25 ames st (address of building 66), asks a bunch of random people for directions, and goes to building 14 for some reason i still can’t fathom and then to building 25.  he keeps calling me even though i’ve told him i can’t hear.  i give up and tell him to stay put and quit asking people for directions, and run to building 25.  he is physically in the act of asking for directions when i get there.  this is not really relevant; i just still do not understand how this man functions in life
7A. i send my prime now orders to building 66, because i live at the north end of EC, and delivery people always get sent by google maps or whatever to the south end, and EC is very long, and prime now does not deliver your groceries in bags with HANDLES for SOME REASON so i want to have to carry them for the shortest possible distance.  this strategy has worked as intended a total of once.

Where are the best places to buy dice and stuff, also it would be helpful if they have reasonable shipping
If you have prime, you can find a lot of Dice on Amazon.
Dice Envy has pretty good shipping, I thinks it’s like $3.98 or so,probably gets higher the heavier and more you buy, but i had a metal set and a couple of acrylic sets in my cart and that was the shipping price.
Kraken I believe has a flat rate of $4.99?
Dice Game Depot goes by weight, so if you’re not buying like 15 sets of dice the shipping is pretty good. They also sell a lot of TTRPG supplies!
Dark Elf Dice has pretty decent shipping too, I think it was like $5.50 for four sets?
I had a pretty heavy bag of dice in my Skull Splitter Dice cart and the shipping was about $8, which sounds like a lot but that bag of dice had like 18 sets in it.
D20 Collective i THINK has a flat rate of like $5
Hope that helps!!
Feel free to add anything you guys know/like!!!

pens v. fake wrestling
I buy a lot of shit on Amazon. I've never spent more than like $80 on a purchase with a few exceptions. Many of my recent products came in slim envelopes.
I've always been this way, but it gets worse when I'm manic. Last time, I blew almost 2 grand on art journal stuff.
But here's my point: I hate, so much, when people comment on my purchases. Started with my dad. I know I can't afford a lot of what I buy - but I'd say that the majority of my purchases are "things I need" for my art projects. And I need to do my projects to enjoy my life even just a bit.
I have a roommate who's particularly bad about it, but usually thinks he's being funny and lighthearted. It makes me feel awful. Ex. I ordered $15 in product but all were for some reason in their own envelopes, so like 6 in one day, which looks like I'm splurging.
I'm dirt poor. But when I get into a hyperfocus on online shopping I've been known to have 50+ items in the cart amounting to thousands.
But then I delete. A lot. I once went from $2400 in a cart to $18. I'll just add whatever and later hone it down to what I really want.
But at the end of the day, he's right, I shouldn't be buying anything - I'm close to abject poverty. But... it's my avocado toast, buying a set of pens/pencils/markers here and there.
One day, Critical Roommate helped me bring in a bunch of packages, with a comment noting that I couldn't be as poor as he thought, just phrased in the perfect way to make me snap.
I got Big Mad. This particular assortment was cat food, litter, coffee, coffee mate, sugar, a few other dry goods, and one was a pack of interesting pens. He was particularly bitchy - all along I'd been like, "yep needed that" and "cheaper than the grocery store!" and as he watched me unload it all, when I got to the pens, he said "And why are THOSE necessary?"
They're not. But it was I think around Feb 20. I told him, this is the only thing I've bought myself this month. I will use them. It will bring me happiness to see these very interesting pens at work.
It's so hard for me not to blast him for spending hundreds a month to watch fake fights and hundreds more to keep all his stupid games active every month. Add in the fact he's "renting furniture and TV" and paying 30% interest, minimum $50 a month on Tim's, and he also drinks, orders food, and just bought a $150 cat box that "cleans itself". But you still gotta scoop, and none of them do. If I go upstairs it's always a struggle not to instantly go to that box and clean it for those poor cats. 3 people, never seen a clean box. But yeah, shame me for an $8 set of pens.
This sequence of mania is different from the last, when I had a credit card and just bought anything that my eyes liked. Now I buy things for art forms I already engage in, that will be used.
But my biggest source of salt is that... he spent $170 on a game. "It includes any future DLC and skins and and and" bitch, those pens were EIGHT DOLLARS. And you roasted me for them, then drop this info as if it's totally normal. UFC aint real, it's not worth a video game let alone the super cool skins that would make your shorts a different color. Sure, it's something he's very into - but the fact that he sees that as a completely rational purchase while my pens are frivolous makes me want to scream.
I think it ultimately comes down to the fact that most people don't respect my art. I like recreating from original medium to another. This is a guy who literally owns every single version of The NHL Hockey Game. Like, how different can they all be? But that's his hobby. I can, ultimately, respect it. I've paid hundreds in Sims packs.
But the idea that he doesn't see him paying $170 on a game that doesn't even exist yet while criticizing my $8 pens will just never cease to infuriate me.
To be a real bitch, I'm going to create something new and interesting. He's going to pretend to pretend to pretend to wrestle. 6m from now. And literally no one will ever consider his $170 purchase to be rational.
Stay Greater

‘We Are All Accumulating Mountains of Things’
By Alana Semuels, The Atlantic, Aug. 21, 2018
It’s easier than ever to buy things online. It’s so easy that Ryan Cassata sometimes does it in his sleep. Cassata, a 24-year-old singer/songwriter and actor from Los Angeles, recently got a notification from Amazon that a package had been shipped to his apartment, but he didn’t remember buying anything. When he logged onto his account and saw that a fanny pack and some socks were on the way, he remembered: A few nights back, he had woken up in the middle of the night to browse--and apparently shop on--Amazon.
He shops when he’s awake, too, buying little gadgets like an onion chopper, discounted staples like a 240-pack of gum, and decorations like a Himalayan salt lamp. The other day, he almost bought a pizza pool float, until he remembered that he doesn’t have a pool. “I don’t really need most of the stuff,” he tells me.
Thanks to a perfect storm of factors, Americans are amassing a lot of stuff. Before the advent of the internet, we had to set aside time to go browse the aisles of a physical store, which was only open a certain number of hours a day. Now, we can shop from anywhere, anytime--while we’re at work, or exercising, or even sleeping. We can tell Alexa we need new underwear, and in a few days, it will arrive on our doorstep. And because of the globalization of manufacturing, that underwear is cheaper than ever before--so cheap that we add it to our online shopping carts without a second thought. “There’s no reason not to shop--because clothing is so cheap, you feel like, ‘why not?’ There’s nothing lost in terms of the hit on your bank account,” Elizabeth Cline, the author of Overdressed: The Shockingly High Cost of Cheap Fashion, told me.
Shopping online also feels good. Humans get a dopamine hit from buying stuff, according to research by Ann-Christine Duhaime, a professor of neurosurgery at Harvard Medical School. “As a general rule, your brain tweaks you to want more, more, more--indeed, more than those around you--both of ‘stuff’ and of stimulation and novelty,” Duhaime wrote in a Harvard Business Review essay last year. Online shopping allows us to get that dopamine hit, and then also experience delayed gratification when the order arrives a few days later, which may make it more physiologically rewarding than shopping in stores.
Sites like Amazon have made it especially easy to shop. In 1999, the Seattle retailer patented a one-click buying process, which allows customers to purchase something without entering their shipping address or credit card info. It launched its Prime program in 2005, and now more than 100 million people have signed on to pay $119 a year for “free” two-day shipping. As a result, most other major retailers offer free shipping too. Returning stuff is a little more difficult--shoppers usually have to print a label and then go to the post office or a UPS or FedEx site to return packages. Many wait too long, or decide the hassle isn’t worth it because the stuff was cheap anyway. A recent NPR/Marist poll found that nine in 10 consumers rarely or never return stuff they’ve bought online.
Justine Montoya, a caregiver in Los Angeles, buys all sorts of stuff online--baby formula, clothes, household goods. She estimates that she shops online twice a week. “It’s just so easy--you click a button, and it’s on its way,” she told me.
In the last few months alone, I bought an $18 smart watch from Wish.com that I will probably never use, a second Kindle because it was on sale and I am worried my first Kindle is going to die soon, an electric space heater I no longer need, and a pair of wireless earbuds that I had hoped would allow me to charge my iPhone and listen to music at the same time, but that instead just fall out of my ears whenever I put them on. I also bought, on Amazon, a (used) book about hiking in the Sierras for $1.99, only to find the exact same book in a box of my stuff in my parents’ basement. I didn’t return any of it.
In 2017, Americans spent $240 billion--twice as much as they’d spent in 2002--on goods like jewelry, watches, books, luggage, and telephones and related communication equipment, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis, which adjusted those numbers for inflation. Over that time, the population grew just 13 percent. Spending on personal care products also doubled over that time period. Americans spent, on average, $971.87 on clothes last year, buying nearly 66 garments, according to the American Apparel and Footwear Association. That’s 20 percent more money than they spent in 2000. The average American bought 7.4 pairs of shoes last year, up from 6.6 pairs in 2000.
All told, “we are all accumulating mountains of things,” said Mark A. Cohen, the director of retail studies at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business. He sometimes asks his students to count the number of things they have on them in class, and once they start counting up gadgets and cords and accessories, they end up near 50. “Americans have become a society of hoarders,” Cohen said. Montoya said she has more stuff now that she has started shopping online: “It’s easier to accumulate more, and it’s easier to spend more.”
At the same time we are amassing all this stuff, Americans are taking up more space. Last year, the average size of a single-family house in America was 2,426 square feet, a 23 percent increase in size from two decades ago, according to the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies. The number of self-storage units is rapidly increasing too: There are around 52,000 such facilities nationally; two decades ago, there were half that number.
Of course, not everyone is a part of this hoarding revolution. There are people who can’t or don’t shop online, because they don’t have credit cards or because they are barely making ends meet. Only about 29 percent of households with incomes under $25,000 are members of Amazon Prime, according to Kantar Consulting. Some people are embracing the zero waste movement, or have followed the example of the author Ann Patchett, who published a widely-circulated op-ed in The New York Times about how she resolved to stop shopping for a year. When she ceased buying things like lip gloss and lotion and hair products, she started finding half-used versions of them under the sink, and realized she hadn’t needed new things after all. “The things we buy and buy and buy are like a thick coat of Vaseline smeared on glass,” she wrote. “We can see some shapes out there, light and dark, but in our constant craving for what we may still want, we miss life’s details.”
But most Americans are not curtailing their shopping habits. And as consumers demand cheaper clothing, electronics, and other goods, manufacturers are spending less to make them, which sometimes means they fall apart more quickly. The share of large household appliances that had to be replaced within five years grew to 13 percent in 2013, up from seven percent in 2004. Cheap clothes might lose their shape after a wash or two, or get holes after a few tumbles in the dryer; electronics become obsolete quickly and need to be replaced. While some of this stuff can be recycled or resold, often, it ends up in landfills. In 2015, the most recent year for which data is available, Americans put 16 million tons of textiles in the municipal waste stream, a 68 percent increased from 2000. We tossed 34.5 million tons of plastics, a 35 percent increase from 2000, according to data from the Environmental Protection Agency. Over that same time period, the population grew just 14 percent.
“Sometimes, people sit down and cry when they see the amount of garbage we produce in a day,” said Robert Reed, a spokesman for Recology, which handles recycling for West Coast cities like San Francisco. Centered in America’s tech capital, Recology has seen an increase in discarded electronics, including products with lithium batteries, Reed told me. In 2016, a lithium battery fire burnt down a waste management facility in San Mateo.
The 16,000 students who live in dorms at Michigan State University left behind 147,946 pounds of goods like clothing, towels, and appliances when they moved out this year, a 40 percent increase from 2016, according to Kat Cooper, a spokeswoman. The university packs up these goods and donates to them to its surplus store, so that incoming students can buy used, rather than new, stuff. In recent years, dorm cleaners have been finding so many packages of unopened food and toiletries that the university started a program to get students to donate leftover food and toiletries to local organizations like food banks when they move out. This year, it collected 900 pounds of personal care items and 4,000 pounds of nonperishable food items to donate. Pomona College has seen the volume of packages delivered grow by 325 percent in the last 12 years, according to Patricia Vest, a spokeswoman; it, too, asks students to donate unused goods to a resale program. This year, it diverted 42 tons of clothes, furniture, and office supplies.
The Internet has also made it easier to recycle some of the stuff Americans buy and no longer want. Online consignment shops like thredUP and Poshmark help people buy and sell clothes from their closets. Secondhand stores like Goodwill have moved online, too, selling the growing pile of goods they get on the Internet.
But the ability to easily get rid of stuff may be making people feel a little better about buying things they don’t need, and motivating them to buy even more. On a recent weekday, I stopped by the massive warehouse where workers from Goodwill of San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin sort donations to Bay Area stores. Some of the stuff that’s been donated has never been used. Near the front of the warehouse stands a rack of clothes with their original tags on--a $245 blue Nicole Miller cocktail dress, $88 Kit and Ace pants, a pale green J. Jill blouse. “We are seeing items that have been barely used or not used, because when people shop online, it’s a lot of work to return it,” William Rogers, the president of the Goodwill, told me. Rogers himself is guilty--when we met at the warehouse, he dropped off four wall sconces he’d bought a year ago on Amazon. He had tried to put them up, decided they didn’t look good, and brought them to donate.
Secondhand shops can’t resell all of the donations they get. Cline estimates that 85 percent of the clothing that is donated to secondhand stores ends up in landfills every year. Just nine percent of plastic that ends up in the municipal waste stream gets recycled, according to the EPA, and only 15 percent of textiles get recycled. It can be difficult to take apart clothes and re-use the fabrics, Cline said, so lots of clothing in the waste stream gets sent to the developing world, used for rags, or sent to a landfill.
Fifty years ago, the science fiction writer Philip K. Dick coined a phrase for these “useless objects” that accumulate in a house: “kipple.” In Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, which served as the basis for the movie Blade Runner, he theorized that “the entire universe is moving toward a state of total, absolute kippleization.” Kipple reproduced, Dick wrote, when nobody was around. The ubiquity of mobile devices and the ease of online shopping have made Dick’s prediction come true, with one small tweak: Our kipple does not just multiply on its own, every time we turn away. We grow it ourselves, buying more and more of it, because we can.

choose shopping mall apps for better experience in malls
You know how everybody keeps saying that Netflix is going to obliterate movie theatres? But then a film like Black Panther arrives on the big screen, and you know what happens next. The magnificent experience of watching movies on a big screen isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
The same can be said for shopping malls. The growth of e-commerce can pose some challenges to shopping mall revenues, but the experience of visiting a mall and revelling in the larger-than-life aesthetics, awe-inspiring festivities, the scent of fresh merchandise, the bling and rustle of decadent fashion, items that you can touch, feel, try on, and be left in awe of is incomparable. All of this sensory gratification is far too powerful a force to be reckoned with, which is why shopping malls will still be packed. No matter how much the Amazon economy grows, the mall will prosper.
The only difference is that shopping centres must now prepare for the revolution and become more tech savvy. Over the magic of sensory perception, they need to add a layer of fingertip comfort.
And they certainly will! They can do something that no other e-commerce company can with a great mobile app.
Shopping malls will use technology to make the beautiful real-life experience even more convenient. On the other hand, no online shop will provide you with that kind of sensory experience on a mobile device.
Today's shopping malls must recognise that their clients do not have time to saunter around aimlessly. Regulation is something that modern consumers are used to. They have the power with a smartphone app that allows them to have a better experience at your mall. So, today, let's look at how shopping malls can use mobile applications to empower their customers.
Lets start discussing what are the main stuff
First make them want to come to mall
So, how can you persuade a customer to leave the comfort of their sofa, put down the addictive phone, forego the ease of home delivery, and actually visit a mall?
Well, that was easy. Simply demonstrate how much fun it is, and then make it simple for them to attend.
There are a number of factors that deter people from visiting a mall. One of them is deciding which one to visit. Which one offers the best price at this time of year? Where is the best bargain to be had? At this moment, which one is the least crowded? Would I have to search for a parking spot for another 40 minutes?
Those are some of the most common concerns that people have before visiting a mall. They'll be much more likely to visit the mall if a smartphone app can provide them with quick answers to these questions.
Shopping malls will provide consumers with a plethora of compelling reasons to visit. Tell them about the latest offers you've found or the new restaurants you've opened. Share tempting real-time photos of the lively, but not overcrowded crowd. Show them the quickest routes to the mall from their current location and let them know how long it would take them to get there. This is how mall can make the people to drop in to the mall
Make sure that they take the easy route
The hassle of getting there is one of the main deterrents for mall tourists. Most people are afraid of being stuck in traffic and wasting valuable time. A smartphone app that tracks metrics and helps consumers find the best times to visit based on the routes they frequent can help them with this. The app can identify the lowest traffics
As a result, each customer will receive a customised recommendation for the best time to visit the mall. When combined with simple driving charts, the software becomes even more useful.
Parking is the next big baddie. Finding a decent parking space, or even worse, realising that the parking lot are full after a long journey through traffic, is exasperating.
A smartphone app will help alleviate a lot of the frustration. Malls should make significant investments in the creation of intelligent parking solutions. Customers will be alerted about the likelihood of finding available parking based on their expected arrival time. If they are unable to provide parking, they may notify visitors of other options in the city.A mobile app that effectively simplifies parking would significantly increase a mall's customer footfall while also making them so happy that they return often. The FastMall app is a good example of how an app can make visiting a mall more convenient.
Allow Navigation with in the Mall
Modern malls are unquestionably much too large to navigate on foot in a single visit, with millions of square feet and tens of miles of walking paths. Even if a mall isn't quite as large as The Dubai Mall or The Mall of America, it's still too much for the average weekend shopper to manage on their own.Customers will enjoy their visit to a mall more if they have a smartphone app that makes navigating the mall easy.
Each customer's requirements are distinct. One might be out shopping for high-end fashion, while another might be searching for bargain toys. All the customer does, from which gate she enters to which elevator she takes up the mal, affects how quickly she finds what she wants.Finding the right store on the right side of the right floor to locate the right product is difficult. If the mall makes its customers' lives simpler, it will be infinitely easier to only buy on Amazon.
Investing in a smartphone app seems to be the ideal solution in this case as well. The app will provide consumers with not only simple interactive floor maps, but also go a step further.A mobile app can understand the stores that a customer frequents thanks to the tremendous power of analytics. When a customer is on that floor or in close proximity, geo-fencing allows it to give them reminders about unique ongoing deals.
Customers may also use a smartphone app to locate the nearest bathroom, fire escape, or staircase. Customers may also use the app to see whether wheelchairs, trolleys, or strollers are accessible. In reality, the app will help customers book these services and have the wheelchair or trolley delivered to them wherever they are, saving them time and effort.
Enable the payments
Consider the following scenario: you're at a mall and you're hungry. Your favourite restaurant is just across the promenade, but you're trapped at the fashion store's billing counter, waiting for your turn. Have you ever wished you could leave your cart here and let the workers take care of the billing while you go to the restaurant? When the billing is completed, you will be informed through the mall app, make an online payment, and pick up your bags on your way out. What a blast!
Conclusion
We have explained the factors that a app can benefit the shopping malls and we brillmindz one of the best mobile app development companies in dubai make the similar apps with the best development team in dubai

If you’re comfortable with in-garage deliveries (and you own a MyQ device), Amazon will give you $40.
Amazon
About a week ago I explained why I thought the Chamberlain MyQ Smart Garage Hub G0401 was a steal at $27. Turns out, it’s almost legitimately a steal, thanks to a current promotion from Amazon.
For a limited time, first-time Key by Amazon In-Garage Delivery users can get a $40 credit by applying promo code KEY40 when making a purchase. This works even if you already own a MyQ; it’s basically $40 in free money just for trying out the service. The catch: You must be an Amazon Prime subscriber.
CNET Cheapskate
Get all the latest deals delivered to your inbox. It’s FREE!
Key allows Amazon delivery drivers to open your door (in this case your garage door) and leave packages there — in theory a much safer place than your front porch, where thefts are relatively common.
Yes, you’re letting a stranger into your garage. That requires a certain comfort level, as does allowing the MyQ app to connect with your Amazon account. (As you might imagine, it’s all quite secure, but I wouldn’t blame anyone for feeling weird about it. What if you’re not home, for example, and for some reason the garage door won’t close after the delivery?) Read the Key FAQ page to learn more.
Read more: Stop package theft: 5 smart home devices that protect deliveries
Here’s the complete rundown for taking advantage of this deal:
1. Once you’ve installed and configured your opener, open the MyQ app and tap the Works with icon. Choose Key by Amazon and follow the prompts from there.
2. Shop on Amazon like you normally would. At checkout, make sure to choose Key as your delivery option.
3. Apply promo code KEY40. That should immediately add a $40 credit to your account and apply to whatever is in your cart.
So while you can’t use this to get $40 off the purchase of a new MyQ (because it won’t be linked to Amazon Key yet), you can use it after on the purchase of something else — effectively making the G0401 free and putting another $13 in your digital pocket.
In my case, I already owned a previous-gen MyQ, but I’d never gotten around to linking it to Amazon. I just did so, applied the promo and presto: $40 off the stuff in my cart. We’ll see how the delivery goes on Friday.
In the meantime… Your thoughts?
Now playing: Watch this: Amazon Key in-home delivery worked much better than I…

30 Strategies to Reduce Shopping Cart Abandonment & Drive Profits
Shopping cart abandonment is big, bad, and pervasive. Baymard’s latest stats peg the average documented online shopping cart abandonment rate at a scary 69%.
That means for every ten e-commerce customers that put an item in their cart, nearly seven will leave the site without completing their purchase.
Shopping cart abandonment sucks, and it’s time to lower it.
The problem seems to get worse every year. It’s time to take back those sales and lower cart abandonment. But how do you reduce the effects of shopping cart abandoment?
Here’s 30 strategies to win those customers back and grow your bottom line.
1. Use Email Retargeting
If you want to slay cart abandonment, you need to get on board with email retargeting. Retargeting uses cookies embedded in email messages to display your ads to the user as she browses the web.
Tumblr media
Retargeting is the perfect way to win back customers quickly after their abandonment.
2. Get Clear on Extra Costs
The top reason that customers give for abandonment is extra costs.
The easiest way to solve this problem? Get rid of those extra costs — or at least be clear about them.
If you absolutely must add in shipping charges, taxes, or other fees, be upfrong. As early as possible in the process, give them complete information regarding all the extra costs that they will see as they enter the shopping cart.
3. Provide Full Disclosure on Shipping Details
Shipping costs are another big kibosh for shopping carts.
In an age of Amazon Prime and holiday specials, customers have been trained to demand free shipping on just about everything. Chances are, you have some competitors that are winning because they have free shipping and you don’t.
If you can afford free shipping, great. If you can’t afford free shipping, then be sure to tell the customer everything about the shipping cost.
If necessary, provide a built-in calculator to determine estimated costs based on the weight and quantity of items.
4. Send an Email Immediately After the Customer Abandons
When an e-commerce customer abandons their cart, you have a few hours to reel them back in. Assuming that you’re using some retargeting technology and email marketing, send an email immediately.
According to Rejoiner’s data, here’s how likely a customer is to purchase after receiving a reminder:
Those first few hours post abandonment are the golden window of opportunity to regain lost customers. Capitalize on it.
5. Get Rid of Sign-In Barriers
Are you preventing customers from buying with sign-in barriers? Just don’t.
Forcing users to create an account may work for some products and services, but in most cases, you’re simply setting yourself up for disappointment. A great alternative to clunky sign-up processes is using social login.
6. Make the Check-Out Process 3-5 Steps
The more complicated your e-commerce checkout process, the less likely users are to complete it. The check-out process should be between three and five steps. The shorter, the better.
If you do try to shorten the process, make sure you’re not using too many fields in a single step.
7. Give the Customer Clear Progress Indications
It will help the customer if you can show them how far along in the process they are with a progress bar. Users like to have a feeling of progress and forward momentum as they reach for the goal of purchasing an item.
8. Use Simple and Prominent Calls to Action in the Shopping Cart
Every marketer knows the importance of calls to action. Are you using CTAs in your shopping cart, too? They are as important as ever.
Users want to know what to do next, and it’s up to you to tell them what to do.
Create a headline-style set of instructions for each phase of the checkout process. For example, tell the user “Where should we send your stuff? Please fill out your address.”
9. Add a “Save For Later” Button
Many shoppers abandon their carts because they’re using them as a wishlist or a place to save things they want to buy later. Instead of funneling them into a shopping cart, make it easy for them to create a wishlist with an easy option to buy later.
You get the benefit of lowered abandonment rates, and they get the upside of a wishlist that will easily funnel them into a later sale.
10. Talk to the Customer During the Process
Make the shopping experience conversational and interactive. There’s no need to be harsh and form-driven. Talk to them.
Brief and casual messages like, “Okay, we’re almost done.” and “We just need a little extra info here.” make the experience more enjoyable. I don’t know many people who love filling out forms, but if you make it less agonizing for the shopper, you’re more likely to gain their completion.
11. Don’t Throw in Extra Links
Avoid placing links that take the customer away from the shopping cart. The customer might leave the cart of their own volition, but don’t make it easy for them!
One of the common ways that e-commerce retailers lose customers is by trying to upsell with related products. Often, when a customer clicks on these products, they never return to the shopping cart.
12. Create Engaging and Powerful Product Pages
We obsess over shopping cart abandonment but consider what comes prior to putting something in a shopping cart — the product page.
Take a look at your product page. How engaging is it, really? Russ Henneberry recommends creating “high-quality, interactive product images.”
13. Create Continuity Between the Product Page, and Shopping Cart
If possible, display a thumbnail of the image in the shopping cart. The customer wants to make sure that they are actually purchasing the item that they selected. Making the cart items visible and visual is a great way to keep the customer moving through to completion.
14. Create One-Click Shopping
Amazon has probably made billions off of its one-click shopping button. It’s so easy to just click and buy without even deliberating over the pros and cons of the purchase.
You can steal a page from Amazon’s playbook by creating your own easy-to-buy shopping cart process. It won’t work for unregistered customers, of course, but it can work for members.
15. Avoid Surprises of Any Kind
According to CPC Strategy “Bad surprises are one of the most common contributors to shopping cart abandonment.” Don’t surprise your shoppers, whatever you do.
The shopping process can be a nerve-racking experience for some e-commerce shoppers. The customer’s mind is tense. They’re pulling out their credit card. They’re a bit nervous. What’s going to happen?
Then — BOOM! A confusing pop-up. A discount code request. An “error” message. A missing field. Whatever.
The checkout process goes up in flames. You surprised them (or they surprised themselves) and you lost.
Watch carefully for any “surprises” in your checkout process. Make it clear, deliberate, and completely free of pop-ups, unexpected messages, and other factors that could be seen as an interruption.
16. Boost Site Speed
If your site is slow, customers will leave.
Tumblr media
The shopping cart is one of the most critical places to boost site speed. Site speed and conversions are tightly correlated. Faster websites are just plain better.
17. Get an SSL Certificate
SSL certificates make customers feel secure. In today’s web, SSL is considered a standard part of good design and development. (It’s also good for your Google ranking!) If your site, and especially your checkout process lacks security measures, you’ll scare some customers away.
18. Display Business Contact Information Prominently
Another way of enhancing the trustworthiness of your website is by adding contact information. Many online businesses display their NAP (name, address, phone number) in the site footer. This is merely one more way of giving your customers the assurance that you are a legitimate and reliable business.
19. Add Chat or Phone Support Options on the Checkout Page
If a customer has a problem, question, or issue with checkout, what are they going to do? In the absence of support options, they might just leave.
To prevent this from happening, add an 800-number or online chat support to the checkout process.
20. Make the Cart Easy to Edit
Your cart should be easy to change. Deleting items, changing quantities, and adjusting shipping options should be intuitive and simple. Don’t make the mistake of creating cryptic buttons that accidentally remove everything in the cart.
21. Show Security Symbols on the Checkout Page
Your checkout page is the place to pile on the security. Obviously, you don’t want to clutter up the page with too many of these, but a few well-placed badges can reassure the skittish customer.
22. Highlight Your Return Policy
Have you ever experienced buyer’s remorse? Some buyers do. Buyer’s remorse doesn’t just happen after a purchase. The anticipation of remorse can sometimes cripple buyers before they purchase.
To prevent this from happening, give customers a clear and easy understanding of your return policy. Make it simple. “Don’t like it? Just return it, on us. No questions asked.”
23. Limit Cross-Selling on the Checkout Page
Trying to cross-sell or upsell customers in the 11th hour may just contribute to shopping cart abandonment, not bigger buys. Keep cross-selling to product page and let the check out page focus on converting.
24. Add Testimonials Everywhere
Some people put testimonials only on a devoted page. I suggest putting them everywhere — even in your checkout process. A simple callout or sidebar with a customer recommendation or two can keep the motivation level high as the customer continues to check out.
25. Personally Review the Checkout Process At Least Once a Month
Do you have first-hand experience with your site’s shopping cart? Do you know what customers are experiencing as they proceed through the funnel, fill out each form, and complete each field?
Personally take the time to test your own shopping cart. As you continually test, refine, and edit your shopping cart process, you’ll be able to iron out wrinkles that may be contributing to abandonment.
26. Be Careful With Coupon Codes
Coupon codes are a double-edged sword. On the one hand, they may motivate customers to purchase. On the other hand, they could prevent customers from completing the transaction.
If a customer doesn’t have a coupon code, for instance, they may leave the site to look for one, but never return.
27. Make Shipping Times as Quick as Possible
Many online customers want their order to arrive as soon as possible. Make arrangements for expedited shipping if customers want it.
28. Provide Courteous and Helpful Error Messages
If a user gets frustrated with the checkout process, they are likely to quit. As you optimize your checkout process, create error notifications that are as helpful and direct as possible. There are two angles to this:
Make it easy for them to find the error on the form.
Make it easy for them to fix the error.
29. Accept Any Currency
If you offer international sales, make sure you are providing clear currency conversion information as well as acceptance of other currencies.
30. Allow Multiple Payment Methods
As e-commerce shopping has become more popular, there has also been an expansion of payment methods. Open the gates as wide as possible and allow buyers to use any credit card, Paypal, Amazon, or any other forms of payment that are common within your niche.
If you need more ideas to lower cart abandonment, try these three strategies.
Conclusion
The effects of shopping cart abandonment can kill your e-commerce bottom line.
As eager as you are to reel users back in, let’s be honest. There’s no such thing as 0% abandonment. Some e-commerce customers will abandon their carts, and you’re going to have to accept it.
Don’t use it as an excuse to keep you from fighting for as many conversions as possible. You’re going to win some back, and it’s worth the effort.
