hear the wedding bells chime on june the 10th, 1996 to celebrate the wedding of or dear lovebirds, cyrek fawn and stella matthews. we will be hosting an entirely hands-free event, meaning we are the proxies and our muns who requested the event will be running their creation through us. all who have connections with the newlywed couple and wedding crashers are welcome to join us for the sake of inclusivity but this event will be optional, and we hope to see you there... full event information, as well as the out-of-character launch of the event, will begin on the evening of wednesday, june 11th.

Open starter: everyone Location: The festival

Julian roamed around the festival, alcohol in hand that he sipped every now and then. He wasn't one to attend things like these often but it was better than sitting in and doing nothing. he was also looking to go home with someone. He didn't care who, anyone that would satisfy his needs. The music echoing in the air, the sound of laughter and chatter drifting through the air. The smell of food filling his nose. A smirk played at his lips at the passing women who flashed him a smile, his eyes following, checking them out. He was distracted before his body collided with someone, causing the glass to drop from his hand. "Fucking shit." she sighed heavily. "Damnit. Can't be more careful?" he huffed, running a hand through his hair.

the heels that she'd initially planned to wear lay haphazardly discarded on pandora's bedroom floor the moment she'd spotted her black creepers. of course! she'd thought. they were the missing touch she'd so desperately needed to make her feel like herself. she looked in the mirror, smoothing out her dress, and smiled. perfect. her mother knocked and came into the room, eyeing falling on the shoes. "you look beautiful! i love the shoes. i really admire how you're always so authentically yourself, my darling."

" i just need a little fresh air , " the tennis player announces as she sits down , letting out a small huff of air . she doesn't mind the chilly temperature outside , in fact , she welcomes it with open arms . " it's a hundred degrees inside , " which is a given considering the theme & the fact most guests wore barely any clothes to begin with , herself almost included given what her stylist decided to put her in .

( @lazydcisy - scavenger hunt!!) // danica's face was twisted up into discontent. how did she keep getting pressured into involving herself in these things? a scavenger hunt? how old were these people, ten? the prize description was so vague, and she doubted it would be a cash prize given the state of the small town economy. unless joja corp sponsored it? she sighed aloud for what seemed like the hundredth time as she waited for this partner of hers to show up in the town square. she prayed to every single god above, yoba included, that the hunt would start and end in the square. as if her pretty brand-name shoes could handle a trek into the woods. "oh my god, where is this person?" she finally complained out loud. she just wanted to get this over with!

danika  can’t  help  but  glance  around  the  room  of  the  bowling  alley  with  a  slight  chuckle  and  shake  of  her  head  before  turning  her  gaze  back  to  phoebe.  the  overwhelming  nature  of  the  party  seemed  to  lessen  now  that  she  was  in  the  company  of  someone  she  knows  and  finds  interesting  to  talk  to.  “in  truth,  i  didn’t  really  know  i  would  be  here  either,”  she  offers  in  return  then  adds,  “i  was  out  getting  groceries  when  the  person  in  front  of  me  at  checkout  mentioned  it  while  we  were  waiting  and  told  me  i  should  come.  i  haven’t  been  bowling  since  i  was  a  kid  and  it  felt  odd  showing  up  empty  handed  to  someone’s  birthday  party  in  which  i  don’t  fully  know  them,  so  i  came  with  a  bottle  of  johnnie  walker.”  brown  curls  bounce  as  daniak  straightens  her  posture,  now  suddenly  wondering  where  said  bottle  of  alcohol  had  gone  to.  “well  …  i  came  in  with  it  and  someone  took  it  from  me  when  i  asked  where  the  gifts  would  go.  for  all  i  know  it  could  be  going  to  good  use  right  now  which  is  just  a  fine.”  danika  laughs.  “at  least  you  can  expect  to  never  have  a  dull  moment  around  him.  friends  like  that  are  the  best  to  keep  around.”  amusement  flickers  across  her  features  and  danika  leans  over,  almost  conspiring,  to  phoebe.  “back  in  new  york  years  ago  i  once  had  to  bail  a  friend  of  mine  out  of  jail  after  we  went  out  for  my  twenty-fourth  birthday.  nearly  ended  up  right  there  next  to  her  but  my  party  trick  ability  of  saying  the  alphabet  backwards  worked  in  my  favor  that  night.”  danika’s  smile  widens.  “how  about  you ??  are  you  enjoying  yourself  ??”

The thing with her writing mentor was that there was a semblance of professionalism between them. Phoebe — much like she did with the early days with Nilay — tried her best to put her best feet forward. Poised, professional, a far cry from what she had been labelled as over the years due to the joint reputations of her mother and who she grew up with. The daughter of a train-wreck and the best friend of the town menace was not exactly how you wanted to be known when trying to pursue a respectable career.

Which was why she was grateful in a way Danika wasn't a Blue Harbor native, and had came from New York; a place filled with dysfunctional family dynamics and kids who took 'jokes' with authortiy too far. Still, Phoebe had been a bit reserved in the creative writing classes to not draw too much attention to her background, and maybe should have considered the attendance of the party and what could be overheard...

"Hi!" She repeated, a bit dumbly, "I didn't know you'd be here! Are you having a nice time?" When the bowling ball comment repeated back to her, she scrunched her nose, half embarrassed, half annoyed at Seb's antics. "Yeah, fun is definitely a word for Seb...but y'know, there's also reckless, irresponsible, other words for him as well. I hope you haven't been as unfortunate as to have met him yet."
