Pretty Little Liars: Ten Theories on the Mannequin Family
1. Vivian Darkbloom’s family.
Vivian Darkbloom is Alison's alter-ego, her fantasy self when she’s living another life: “Don’t you wish you could just be someone else?” Charlotte later takes on her identity, fleeing to Paris.
She’s supposed to be what Alison and Charlotte then want to be, and that includes the perfect “model” family, sharing “cherished memories” and “warmth and laughter” that Charlotte didn’t get.
2. Alex Drake’s wealthy family.
Alex Drake was sold from Mary Drake and Dr Cochrane to a wealthy British family that abandoned her at an orphanage when she was four.
Her adoptive parents along with adoptive siblings that were kept and loved, unlike her. The handprints on the wall are the mark of Alex who was abandoned by her adoptive family and lived a terrible life, even if they’re still living in their perfect model family.
3. Sara Harvey’s family.
Parents and a little brother, the blonde little girl can be either Sara or her sister instead (similar to number two where Alex is missing from the family dolls).
We learn Sara came from an abusive home in early S6. This could be related to the handprints on the wall.
4. More standard - Charlotte’s family.
Of course there could be a more standard answer to this question: simply Jason, Charlotte, Jessica, Kenneth. This is when Charlotte was still with her family. Jessica is pregnant with Alison.
After Alison came into the world Charlotte’s life changed not only by the bathtub incident but the boundless love she’d always have for her sister.
5. Bethany’s family.
Related to Charlotte giving (via Black Widow) condolence flowers to Bethany Young’s parents? Maybe or maybe not. The handprints on the wall are in three different colours. Three different Dilaurentis’s (the family of puppet masters) had its hand in affecting that family, and not for the better.
First - Jessica having an affair with Mr Young.
Second - Charlotte either trying to hit Bethany the night she died or digging up her grave, maybe there’s more we don’t know on Radley…
Third - Alison was supposed to be the target, but the hit ended up being made on Bethany. A fatal mistake…
6. Archer Dunhill’s family.
The reasoning for why Charlotte would have a mannequin family of Archer’s family (presumably casting him as the young boy) is dubious. However since he was her love it’s not implausible to assume she’d commemorate him in some way - and what better way to do that other than the other thing she loves the most; dolls?
7. Wren Kingston’s family.
Same with Archer especially since he was a major part of Charlotte meeting her sister and he seemed to know about the Dilaurentis-Drake-Hastings family drama back in *season 5* according to 7x20. Is it really a stretch to suspect a bigger role from him?
8. Charlotte and Archer’s future family.
With how much Charlotte cares about family it isn’t out of the picture that she’d want one with her true love Archer. The black haired mother Charlotte could be the Vivian Darkbloom disguise she continues donning after she runs away with Archer after being in Welby.
9. Not loved ones but lost ones.
The woman is Marion Cavanaugh, the man is Darren Wilden, the little girl is Bethany Young, and the little boy is “Charles” Dilaurentis.
It’s not a family, it’s the ones Charlotte has lost along the way, for better or worse, by outside forces or by choice (Side note: The handprints represent who they are survived by, one person with each colour. Maybe Marion is red or Wilden is or Bethany is green, could go either way. Either way none of them are for “Charles”).
10. Alice’s family.
No deeper meaning, but could this be the third reference to the mysterious, almost ghost-like, little blonde girl?
The mother of two heros along with being a university professor, Dinah was an interesting character that wasn't seen much though the show after the first few seasons. Would you have liked to have seen more of Dinah Lance?
The Fall, written by Drew Hewitt and directed by Charlotte Peters, is one of the winners of Original Theatre Company’s Originals Playwriting Award, and stars Alex Kingston, Tyger Drew-Honey, Sara Stewart, and Adrian Lukis.
Janet and Liam are happily married, until that is, she stops talking to him, actually she stops talking completely. She begins seeing a psychiatrist in an attempt to find a diagnosis. What secrets are buried deep in Janet’s psyche? What will the revelation mean for her family? Will she share her secret or simply remain mute? How much of our lives are free will and how much is already mapped out for us?
Stewart and Lukis play the married couple. There are moments of sincere caring between them versus moments where you’re not entirely sure if they like each other. The writing gives these characters good depth and remains intriguing for the audience. Kingston, as the psychiatrist, is a steady existence within the storm of Janet’s hidden trauma.

Can you recommend any books where they get right into the sex?
Either historical or contemporary
Sure! I'm all for an instant gratification moment (and for the purpose of this ask I stuck to early sex scenes between the main couple because there's a decent amount of het romances out there that begin with the hero and another woman..... though predictably not many with the heroine having good sex with another man :/).
Contemporary:
Minx by Sophie Lark: There's some fabulous, very hot sex (and pet play) a few chapters in, after Blake agrees to take on Ramses as a client. And once the ball gets rolling, it really doesn't stop.... and only gets better from there.
Lush Money by Angelina M. Lopez: Roxanne basically *mounts* Mateo (if there's one thing Angelina loves, it's a mounting moment) right after their agreement that she'll get her pregnant in exchange for money is finalized. It's very.... economical and Mateo hates it, but gets off on it. He's soooooo conflicted and I personally loved that.
After Hours on Milagro Street by Angelina M. Lopez: The other mounting moment sex scene; Alex hops on Jeremiah literally two minutes after arriving in the dead of the night at her family's bar. It's honestly made hotter because Angelina writes a (kinda hilarious) premature ejaculation coupled with Alex getting off after. It works and I'm all for it.
Sherwood by Sierra Simone: Such an underrated book imo; the prologue has our "Robin Hood" (she's a woman here) about to be deployed, and "Maid Marian" tries to dissuade her by eating her out. Very emotional, very hot.
Asking for Trouble by Tessa Bailey: An early face-sitting scene after she's cuffed him in her foyer. Brent puts his "middle-class mouth" to gooood use.
Scorching to the Touch by Ofelia Martinez: There's hate sex about two chapters in; Erica makes Friedrich eat her out in the bathroom of an event and when he whips out his dick and is all "what am I supposed to do with this?", she points to a stall. Honestly, a winner.
The Risk by Caitlin Crews: She's a ballerina pretending to be a stripper-escort who gets her fantasy of being "bought" fulfilled and she and her billionaire have sex pretty much right after.
Crashed Out by Tessa Bailey: Like a couple chapters in, Jasmine sees Sarge's dick and books it to her car and tries to get off, but then Sarge catches her and lends a helping hand all while asserting he's a Grown Man now.
Desperate Measures by Katee Robert: Jafar kills Jasmine's mob boss father in the beginning and within the next chapter, there's a CNC scene where he chasing her down while she pretends she doesn't want it.
Give Me More by Sara Cate: Sara immediately sets up the throuple by having the married couple, Hunter and Isabel, have anniversary sex while listening to their friend Drake have sex with two other women, with Drake also getting off while listening to Hunter and Isabel.
Historical:
The Bride Goes Rogue by Joanna Shupe: A fabulous anonymous encounter with neither Preston nor Katherine realizing who the other person is (right after Preston rejected his arranged betrothal to Kat) and they're pretending to be Louis XV and Madame Pompadour while they get each other off at a French Ball.
Her Husband's Harlot by Grace Callaway: The book starts with Helena following her husband to a brothel disguised as a prostitute, and Nicholas fully doesn't recognize her when he (successfully) has sex with her for the first time.
Passion by Lisa Valdez: An erotic romance; the literal first lines describe Mark groping Passion during the Great Exhibition, and he has her "pinned to the wall like a butterfly" within the next few pages.
The Virgin and the Rogue by Sophie Jordan: Charlotte is (allegedly) under the influence of an aphrodisiac when she mounts Kingston (can you tell I have a thing for this) in the library in the middle of the night, dry humps him, and runs away. Unironically one of my favorite Sophie Jordan sex scenes.
The Rake Gets Ravished by Sophie Jordan: The story begins with Mercy breaking into Silas's bedroom to retrieve the deed to her family home, and when Silas finds her, she seduces him and fucks him into such a deep sleep that when he awakes, all he's left with is an apology note and her *virgin blood* on the sheets.
Nearly two dozen agencies in the Kingston, Ont., area are asking residents what they think about decriminalizing illegal drugs for personal use as the region sees deaths from opioid use skyrocket.
Between 2014 and 2020, there was a 330 per cent rise in opioid-related deaths in the region served by Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox & Addington (KFLA) Public Health, according to numbers from the health unit.
As a result, the Kingston, Frontenac, and Lennox & Addington Community Drug Strategy Advisory Committee has launched a survey to get people's thoughts on decriminalization — a tactic that's been implemented elsewhere, though not without controversy.
"It's not quite the same as legalization, but it's lifting that legal penalty for someone that may have [drugs] on them," said Sara Tryon, program planner with KFLA, one of the committee's community partners. [...]

His hands might be shaking, just a little bit. They're ice cold, pale, and he clenches his fists, trying to avoid the inevitable. He always thinks he can avoid it. He never can.
Adam squeezes his eyes shut as hard as possible, but the panic slices through him aggressively when he hears the door open. He spins to see who it is.
"Whoa," Eddie says, walking up to him carefully. "It's just me. It's okay."
Adam would respond, if he could. If he had air in his lungs. He inhales, a scratching, dragging thing, knowing his eyes are wild when he looks up at Eddie. It's the first time he's seen softness in his eyes. "I know I'm basically a stranger," Eddie says, voice soft as fleece, "but, uh, I know a panic attack when I see one." He stays a careful distance away, which Adam would thank him for. If he could.
"You got any rescue meds? Something that helps you calm down?"
Adam's hand shakes violently - so much for a little bit - as he points to his bag, and Eddie moves smoothly as he pulls out a sneaker, a jacket -
"That," Adam says, when Eddie gets the hoodie. "Please."
Adam doesn't expect him to, but Eddie silently and carefully helps him get the hoodie over his arms, zips it for him. He immediately feels better.
And Eddie keeps his hands on Adam's arms, rubbing gently. Adam feels the ice thaw from him, his lungs start to loosen. "Thanks," Adam croaks out.
"I've been there," Eddie says. "You're gonna be okay. You find me if you need me, okay?"
Adam exhales as Eddie steps away. "Okay." It's the safest he's ever felt after a panic attack.
D.U.D.E Bios: Saraid Grady-Sullivan / Sara Lucifarian (2021)
The Wrathful Imp Sara Lucifarian
Same pic as Sara hasn't changed much.
The seventh of the seven, the fireball of a young lady, Sara Lucifarian. Sara isn't particularly smart, wise, cunning, tactful, any of that, but she has what the others lack, pure rage that can be released at a moment's notice. If Damien were honest he'd probably say that Sara even scares him, but Damien would never admit such a thing, rather he has taken to locking Sara in a cage whenever she fights or locking her outside of buildings for street fights so that her rage may never be directed at him.
"Dare you to."
