“Leave the lights on. I like seeing you.” Loki insisted before your hand fell from the light switch.

Dropping the final piece of material that covered your body, you stood shyly, finally naked in front of Loki, regretting all the moments that led up to this one as you waited for him to respond. His eyes widened before running over your body leaving you feeling even more self conscious under his intense gaze. If you wasn’t practically frozen in fear, rooted in place, you’d have made a quick scramble for your clothes before leaving and forgetting about Loki but alas, you found yourself unable to move.

“L-Loki?” You finally uttered, breaking him from his trance like stare but you couldn’t take it anymore, this inevitable rejection was torture. “Say something.”

“I—” he began, his throat dry as a lump formed in yours “I've imagined what you look like naked several times. I wasn't expecting you to be this hot.” He spoke, a small smile playing on his lips.

“W-what?” You gasped, shocked and confused.

“I mean, I just want to know who gave you the right to be this fucking sexy.” He continued, sitting up as he gestured for you to come closer to him “y/n, you—you’re beautiful.” He acknowledged, hands reaching out to touch you but pausing before he felt your skin as if you were some form of sacred art.

“Loki s-stop.” You mumbled, cheeks heating as he complimented you, eyes darkening with desire.

“Truly, you’re the most beautiful, most alluring, most gorgeous thing I’ve ever laid my eyes on.” He praised before pulling you above him.

“Loki wait.” You warned, falling on top of him, unable to speak as he kissed you desperately; he knew by the tone of your voice that you were worried about something futile, not that you wanted him to stop, especially when you finally melted against him, drowning in the kiss. You straddled him, thighs either side of his waist as his hands travelled over the contours of your body. The feeling of your bare skin finally against his was electrifying. He smiled against your lips as you broke the kiss for air, realising your position as your eyes widened. You noticed that he wasn’t in a rush to stop what ever was about to happen. He wasn’t in a rush to get you off of him. He wasn’t in a rush to have nothing to do with you ever again like you thought he would be. In fact, he was stroking hair out of your face as he appreciated the view of you above him. You hadn’t even realised that you had just been staring down at him until he spoke.

“I can't tell if you're trying to turn me on right now, but whatever you're doing is working.” He grinned, both of you lost in one another’s eyes.

“What do you mean?” You giggled.

“You’re seducing me, with your eyes, gosh you’re so sexy.” He almost growled before attacking your neck with kisses. You stayed like that, comfortable kissing one another before things turned more heated. You hadn’t realised that you had been grinding against him until Loki paused your movements. “If you keep doing that, I won’t be able to last much longer darling and believe me, I want this to last.” He smirked coyly. You were flustered again, embarrassed by your antics before Loki reassured you that it was fine, it was just pleasuring him too much too. Eventually, you both swam in ecstasy

“Thank you Loki.” You murmured, your back against his chest as his hand ran up and down your arm.

“For what?” He answered tiredly.

“For everting.” You replied with a smile, picking his hand up and bringing it to your lips.

as for tips,, aside from the usual “use references!” and “practice a lot!”, i’ll try my best to come up with some!

find inspiration! find artists you like. what it is about their art that you like? lines? coloring style? simplicity? details? use that to help develop your own artstyle. in my case, i really love yamako’s (honeyworks) linework, so i tend to work on my lineart a lot!

make small goals for yourself that build up over time. wanna improve your lighting? practice different lightings for the same image every week. wanna be able to draw your favorite character hot? draw them twice a month (or more) for a year, see how much hotter they get over time.

experiment! don’t be afraid to try new things. do a lot of cell shading? practice painting once in a while! draw a lot of people? try animals or sceneries! who knows, you might learn something new or find something else you enjoy doing.

it’s okay to suck. nothing has to be perfect. sometimes you just gotta draw shitty so that you can draw better next time. you can only improve by continuing to draw, it’s not gonna hurt if you have some “bad” drawings.

utilize blending modes if you need to. sometimes you just have 321486521 overlay/multiply layers and that’s cool, i do too.

have patience! drawing takes years of practice and learning and improvement. even professional artists are still improving and learning. getting used to drawing with a tablet might take time. drawing a piece might take hours or days or even weeks or more. have patience with yourself and take it on little by little.

keyboard shortcuts are really useful. not just ctrl+z, ctrl+c, etc but if you have a brush or tool you use often, it helps to have a keyboard shortcut for it so that you’re not moving your drawing hand back and forth so much just to switch tools. a lot of my keyboard shortcuts are located near the Z key bc my left hand is generally resting on ctrl+z while i’m drawing, so when i need to switch tools, i just need to stretch my finger to the next key over.

most importantly, draw for yourself and have fun! have a character you absolutely love? draw them. wanna make a new oc? make that new oc. love your dog? draw your dog. it’s easy to feel like you have to draw the current popular thing so that others will notice your art more, but if that’s not what you really want to do, why do it? you draw for yourself more than anything (unless it’s for work ofc), you improve your art for yourself, so you might as well do whatever you want!

February 1st is the day I made this blog!

First making this blog, I’ve said it plenty of times when it was brought up, but I never intended to do much with it.

I made it for the purpose of not flooding my main blog with bat/im stuff, and having the idea of answering asks for Alice if any came by. I was RPing as Alice with someone on discord for at least four months prior to this blog, and soon this blog delved more into an RP blog more than an ask blog.

I’ve made plenty of friends, have so many memories and a lot of growth through this blog. And despite some of the hard times I faced and forces and situations where I almost deleted a few times.. I don’t regret a thing.

I decided to make a little follow forever under the cut! A few people (Going back. A lot of people did. Oops.) will get some special shoutouts solely because I have a lot of thoughts, but if I don’t write something for you, don’t think you mean any less to me! If I forget anyone, my DEEPEST APOLOGIES. Hi, I'm Maria, your anon from Italy. I'm reading a lot of things these days about SC and if there's one thing I hate the most in life is hypocrisy and double standard. Who was checking Sam's "balls" in the Cahonas pic? Me? No, Cait. Who calls him darling and hubs and said he's the one in her book? Me? No, Cait. Who posted the pic of them hugging each other after the IFH or some days ago where they were both wearing the same cap for that charity? Me? No, Cait. (Part 1)

(Part 2) Then why Sam is always the one who: 1) has to claim his gf 2) has to stop playing game with fans 3) has to stop posting pic of him and C together 4) has to stop doing what he's doing and live his life the way we think it's better for him? Why only Sam is responsible for all of this mess? It's like some people know that it takes 2 to tango but prefer to be blind and only see what they want to see. And in this case it's that Sam is the bad guy and Cait the innocent one and a role model. (Part 3) And I don’t mean this ask to be a shade towards Cait: what I want to highlight is the double standards. Said that, even if right now I don't think they're together, I love them both and I think they're both wonderful people and I ship them and their love for each other is moving to see. Ps: sorry for this long ask but you seem one of the few people around these parts who still like them both, together or not, and who doesn't like to judge people so harshly.         

Well, hello, Maria from Italy!!! I’m so happy to hear from you again.  Sorry it took me so long to answer you - we were on a little vacation and my internet was very unreliable to nonexistent. I absolutely agree with you. Sam and Cait and their personal lives are like a big 10,000 piece puzzle, and we have 50 pieces and with those 50 pieces, declare that we kind of/sort of/vaguely know what’s going on. In reality, we know nothing very little. We know they love each other and are very, very important to each other, because they have both said so. We know they have a deep and abiding friendship, because they have said so. We know they are both immensely talented and dedicated to their craft, because we have seen them work. We know that they are absolutely wonderful people because other people who are close to them have said so, and we have seen their sincere charitable works. Other than this, we really know nothing. To take those few puzzle pieces and try and determine what is going on is a recipe for disappointment, in my opinion.

To blame all of this on Sam is uncharitable, unkind, and wrong. Whatever their relationship is, Cait and Sam are in it together and share the responsibility for it. That having been said, I believe that they don’t owe us anything - no explanations, no declarations. Therefore, if you have negative feelings towards Sam because of what you believe you see going on, why are you letting Cait off the hook? Is she not culpable in this? I ask, because I don’t have negative feelings for either of them. I believe they can be friends with whomever they choose, whether or not I like those other people. They can hang out with, travel with, or date anyone they choose and while I might have an opinion about it, I realize that my opinion means absolutely nothing. It makes me sad to see Sam getting shade, while Cait is praised to the sun. It doesn’t make sense to me. We don’t know what is truly going on with either of them, so why judge them so differently? Even when we think we know, and say, “well, Sam does this, and Cait does this, so I judge them differently.” we STILL don’t know what is really going on!

I love Sam and Cait. I am fans of both of them. I respect their right for privacy, but I definitely have an opinion about how they are going about protecting their privacy or not. Happily, it is not my call to make, and I am not responsible for their privacy, their public images, their career moves or their hair cuts.

For the time being, I will enjoy what sweetness they share with us. I will continue to think that they would make the most adorable couple ever to grace this beautiful earth (besides me and SuperHusband), understanding that this assumption is based on having seen 50 out of 10,000 puzzle pieces. Because of this, external sources don’t bother me. I don’t go looking at the SM of people I’m not interested in, so what they have to say does not impact my opinions. I don’t seek out negativity, and I try to avoid it when I come across it. I have been blessed by meeting and befriending some of the world’s most wonderful women by being a part of this fandom, and it is more than I ever could have imagined. I feel grateful. I feel blessed. I feel richer because I have been here. Nothing else gets any room in my experience.

Ship on, Ladies, if that’s your thing. Blog on, create art, write fanfic, post book excerpts, speculate, if you’re into it, but by all means, don’t let an extracurricular activity bring negativity into your life. IT. IS. NOT. WORTH. IT.
