SPOILERS FOR ANDOR AHEAD
Im so glad andor caught on with the pacing again in the last three episodes. The urgency, the Scheming, the thrill is all back, especially in episode 9.
The Ghorman rebellion in the last three arcs felt very empty, they didn’t really have personalities but rather the had roles to perform imo. You could barely remember different faces and names. The dialogues and story felt pretty predictable, but damn if episode 7 and 8 didn’t manage to turn it around . Just to have them all be murdered the second you start seeing them.
The Ghorman massacre was atrocious, but the way it changed people that witnessed it.. from Syril suddenly questioning his role in it, to Cassian who has been feeling quite tired lately and to whom Ghorman was more than he could and wants to bear (again).
I also think we never quite got such a human Deedra, who also in that exact moment we see her having feelings beyond a slight annoyance and cool composure makes a crass decision against said humanity, to follow the orders no matter the cost, willing even to sacrifice those dear to her. And what a contrast to cassian who puts everything including the entire rebellion on the line to save people he loves, no matter what.
Bix my beloved, they have done you very dirty. Staying at home all day long, waiting for cassian to show up, and that weak ass monologue saying goodbye? Like they couldn’t even have one fight about it? I know many people love bix and cassian but imo they got a lot of screentime that didn’t really go anywhere, it didn’t develop their relationship or characters, they don’t really get to have meaningful discussions and to just vanish her with the most boring reason ever .. really hope we will get a better explanation than „a force healer made vague statements and I am in the way of destiny“. Especially after the end of episode 6 were I thought finally she will get her own story and be an important plot relevant character.. or she’ll be a stay at home gf.. yay.
Luthen and Kleya.. where were you? 😭
Wil and Cassian having a really weird dynamic, one is no longer a boy and the other lost his drive and had seen too many people die already.. but also the irony of cassian saying „we cannot go back!!!“ while he himself blows up entire planets if someone threatens his family lol
Mon Mothma my bestest character of all time. What a perfect story arc. The trust between her and luthen crumbling. That he wasn’t sure if she’d follow through. I think Yavin will find out she’s not an easy one to manipulate.
Another theme that felt pretty prevalent is people can change! But sometimes they are not allowed to change because it’s already too late. We see it in syril who realizes just a bit too late, his responsibility in everything. But before we can see whether this sparks true change in our „follow the rules, justice is everything“ darling, he gets killed and quite an unheroic death. What could have become of him?
Same goes for mon Mothmas chauffeur. We clearly see him having sympathy and respect for Mon even while spying on her. And listening to her speech, having someone he admires hold such a crass speech, one, I think, many people felt to be the explanation they’d been missing, we see him change his attitude. Running up these stairs against orders.. maybe to save mon? And getting shot by cassian because yeah he’s an isb plant ofc you have to shoot him! But what if?
Alas we’ll never know, so much lost potential …
So these three episodes had me on the edge of my seat, question my sanity and yeah, only 6 days, 17 hours and 23 minutes to the next episodes.

Who Are You / Who Am I?
Given the talk of Les Mis vibes, I'm surprised we aren't talking about the meaning of "Who Are You?" in the context of the iconic Les Mis song, "Who Am I?"
Obviously there is no Jean Valjean in Andor, but Syril does come to have an identity crisis. After he finds out the truth of what's about to happen, he is desperate to try and prevent it - even if it means pulling off his mask. He no longer hides the fact that the ISB are "his people".
The quintessential thing is that Syril earnestly cared about the Ghormans and he thought he was protecting them from outside agitators.
Syril suffers from this "Who Am I" crisis when he realizes slaughtering the Ghormans was the plan from the start.
And then he sees Cassian Andor. I think people misunderstand what Syril is thinking here. It's not that he drops his line of thinking when he sees his arch nemesis. No, it's not that.
He sees that Cassian Andor is the outside agitator. Cassian is the one who he needed to protect the Ghormans from. Cassian is the one who planted their distrust in Syril.
It's Cassian's fault that the Ghormans wouldn't listen to him when he tried to save their lives. It's all Cassian's fault.
THAT is what crumbles when Cassian asks, "Who are you?"
It's not that Syril realizes his insignificance. It's that Syril realizes he was wrong about Cassian being the outside agitator. Cassian didn't plant Ghorman distrust in him. Cassian didn't even know who he was.
Syril's last thoughts were not that deep. He was simply confused, and he needed to ask Cassian some questions to figure it out.
From a story telling point of view, though, it was the writing punctuating Syril's life with the question of that son, "Who Am I?"

Hello there! Has your opinion on Karn changed at all? You gave some good analysis on him a couple of episodes ago, so I’m just wondering if you feel the same way about him now.
He certainly spoke up this episode and doubled-down on his, for lack of a more intergalactic term, ultra-Nationalist and anti-Rebel stance. (I did not expect Dedra to take him seriously despite a lot of the theories out there simply because the Imperial hierarchy is unforgiving. Without his uncle, Syril Karn would likely not have found a "proper" job again. He was effectively blacklisted after the incident on Ferrix.)
I at first wondered why he held so tightly to his view of the system considering how unfairly he felt that he had been treated and how quickly he crumbled when Cassian pointed a gun to the back of his head. I was viewing Syril as less of a political idealist than as a pretty self-absorbed person who would ultimately choose to save his own skin. Except that being a solider or part of the Imperial machine has clearly been a fantasy/dream of his since he was a child judging by the action figures in his old room and his predilection for high collars mirroring Imperial uniforms. Cassian represents failure to him and he will not release his grip on that fantasy without a fight. The ISB interrogation room clearly did not intimidate him. If anything he looked excited. There was a trace of a smile on his face when Dedra was leaving. (I “love” how Syril gets a slap on the wrist and a gold star for wasting ISB time and meanwhile Cassian is being freaking tortured for walking.)
I reckon Dedra might get desperate and come looking for him again as a) I do not see what else they intend to do with him unless they are going to mirror his arc with Cassian's and b) I doubt that he is going to find anything relevant sifting through Fuel Purity data but who knows.
The reason that I mention Dedra is because Bix knows nothing. She has no idea where Cassian is and does not know Luthen's identity, and without him being on a database, how could she possibly identify "Axis" even with a physical description ? And even if she did and everyone was in the system (which of course we know that they are not since both Cassian and Jyn manage to change their identities without much apparent difficulty and their computers seem pretty archaic) where would you even start to look? Then again, Syril knows even less so...
Here is what I mean by Syril's arc mirroring Cassian's. They are both in prisons, of a sort, though obviously Cassian's is a lot nastier being an actual prison. Cassian, as we know, is going to bust out of there with Melshi (and perhaps others). We see them both together in Rogue One. Syril being Syril is going to find an excuse to raise the alarm again, so to speak, and thus will get out of that job, i.e. out of his own prison one way or another either because someone takes him seriously or he is fired/gets into trouble again. It is clear that he is obsessed with finding Cassian above all else, even perhaps the rules, and is not going to stop. I just do not see him staying at the Bureau. He clearly feels that it is beneath him and his skill set and wants to do something that he feels holds deeper significance.
I hope that that answered your question. I like showing how I arrive at an idea even if it is a little meandering. :)
#star wars#andor#andor spoilers#cassian andor#syril karn#asks#i hope that this made sense#i think that he is going as far as he can#he is clearly obsessed#with what he believes is his due#i love my mum's title for Syril as 'an officious little prick'

——————————————————————————————
Summary: When Tup murdered General Tiplar during a battle, Anakin Skywalker and Captain Rex dispatched Ahsoka, Fives, and Yara to solve the mystery that was plaguing the Clone Army. Meanwhile, Senator Padme Amidala contacted Commander Fox, Commander Tori, Riyo Chuchi, and Dipper to help her continue investigating the death of Palpatine, suspecting that Dooku was behind the evil plot. But when Dooku send an ISB agent to stop them, the team had to race against time to search for the truth, which could alter the course of the galaxy.
————————————————————————————
“So, how are we getting inside?” Tori asked, sitting next to Fox in speeder. “Like, what’s the plan?”
Fox turned to her in a blank eye, his brows furrowed. “Do you ever pay attention, Tor? Like, are you always daydreaming whenever you’re being brief about something important?”
“You never even told us,” she crossed her arms as she tapped Dipper’s sleeves, catching the ARC Trooper’s attention. “Dip, please tell me what Commander Fox said about this stealth mission?”
Dipper lifted his shoulders, holding a datapad in his hands. “He only told us that Riyo and I were the ones who will sneak into the Chancellor’s penthouse and grab the files from there. You two were supposed to watch the speeder in case things go wrong.”
Pouting her lips, she focused her gaze towards the view of the city, which was much livelier than last night. There were people pacing up and down the streets, going about with their daily life, while the lights from skyscrapers and houses were lit. Tori couldn’t believe what she was seeing.
There were schoolchildren clad in uniforms rushing towards their classrooms while office workers had their blazers and blouses on, carrying their datapads and briefcases. This was like how it was 6 months ago, before the war came to the capital of the Republic, which the Empire tried to crumble with their iron fists.
As long as they were people fighting for the Republic, then it still exists to Tori, Fox, Riyo, and Dipper. Riyo saw the smiles on the citizen’s faces, which made her lips curled downwards. She enjoys seeing others happy, but somehow, she doesn’t share their sentiments.
Are they really content with their life? The former senator pondered, glancing at the little Rodian boy, who was enjoying his ice-cream underneath the sunny day, which reminded her of home.
Riyo misses the paddy fields on Pantora. Her father used to harvest a massive field of rice, and brought a sack of harvest for the entire family. It wasn’t much, but she enjoyed the rice that was grown just kilometres away from her village home. If her father was lucky, he would also bring some eels, which tasted juicy.
“So once Dipper and I got the files, does that mean we’re leaving Coruscant?” she asked Fox.
“Yes, dear, we’re bringing Senator Amidala with us after this,” Fox affirmed. “We can’t stay here for too long. It’s not safe for all of us here.”
“So, what do we do with the files? Padmé did suggested us to show them to the Imperial Senate.”
“I know she did, but the general’s order was to get the senator out of the planet and head back to base. It’s too risky to head into the Senate building. We don’t even know what’s waiting for us down there.”
“Foxy has a point,” Tori agreed. “This planet is under heavy surveillance. If we are caught, then it could compromise not only the location of our base but also the number of our army as well. We’ve lost so many soldiers in battle, and we can’t afford to lose anymore.”
Riyo frowned from their answers, making Fox sighed. “Look, I understand you want to help your friend, and I’m all for it, but we also need to think about us as well. I know it seems selfish, but we can’t always have it all.”
“I understand, dear,” she gave a weak smile. “Let’s hope our plans go smoothly. We don’t want anyone interfering with it.”
Dipper chirped. “Don’t worry about it. By the time the Imps realized it, we would already be long gone by now. I have a good feeling that we will successfully escape from Coruscant with ease.”
“Fingers crossed on that. I really don’t want to be interrogated by the Imperial secret police. From what I heard, no one made it out alive.”
“Speak of the devil, and he will come to you,” Tori scolded Riyo. “We don’t want any sort of trouble during this mission.”
It better not, Fox hoped, as he drove in mid-air, searching for Palpatine’s penthouse through his scope. He had been there many times before, and memorised every single room in his building, including the bathroom. He was in charge of security along with Thorn, which was important for him to know the building schematic. He never said his last goodbyes to Thorn, or spent their last moment together before the latter was gone.
On the other hand, he wasn’t particularly sad that Palpatine died, but if those files mean turning the tide of the war, then he has no other choice. I hope his misdeeds were recorded, so that everyone knows what a terrible man he was.
As Fox noticed the penthouse’s balcony from afar, he slowed down the speeder, driving away from the highway. “We’ll be arriving in 5 minutes,” he informed them. “Get into position.”
“Yes, Commander,” Dipper saluted, as he gave a wink at Riyo, who was clutching her hands together. “Don’t worry. I’ve done this kind of mission before. You’ll befine, Riyo. We believe in you.”
“May the Force be with all of us,” she prayed, as they arrived in front of the lobby, which was on the ground floor. With silence surrounding them, the former senator noticed plenty of overgrown weed between the bricks on the grounds.
No one was inside the apartments, except for the complete void inside. There were people here when the Chancellor was still alive. Did the Empire forced them out as well?
Fox and Tori glanced at them, giving them a nod. “Good luck, and be careful,” Tori said. “We don’t know what’s in there.”
“We will, commander,” Dipper acknowledged, as he gestured to Riyo to follow him inside the abandoned apartment.
As they stepped inside the lobby, both of them noticed the red carpet was torn, covered in fungus. The paint on the walls was peeled off, and the fluorescent lights were hanging on the ceiling, waiting to crash on the floor.
“It looks scary in here,” Riyo commented, glancing at the vacant receptionist counter. “What do you think happened here?”
Dipper observed many blast marks in the room's corner, clicking his tongue. “Whatever it is, I doubt the tenants here left voluntarily,” he replied as he turned towards the lift and pressed the button, much to her bewilderment.
“Are you sure this lift is working?”
Before he could answer, the lift door opened, with the background music playing and the golden lights working. “Well, looks like your question is answered, Ri. After you.”
“Thank you, kind sir,” she smiled and walked inside, pressing the button that leads all the way upstairs. “I’m surprised there’s still something working here. I wonder who switched on the power?”
Dipper felt uneasy as they arrived at the penthouse, which was well kept, despite no one living there for months. He felt the cooling air coming from the air-conditioning and the scent of nutmeg lingering, prompting him to draw out his blaster.
“Riyo, I don’t think we’re alone,” he warned her. “Stay closer to me.”
“Alright then,” Riyo bobbed her head, holding a blaster as well. “The files could be in his studies, but we have to be careful not to trigger the sensors.”
“That’s why I’m here,” he took out his Onderonian army knife, as he tiptoed towards the study room, where everything on the bookshelves were arranged in order.
Riyo remembered how the place was. She attended a party in the Chancellor’s penthouse, where many of her colleagues were there, along with close associates. There was champagne and wine, and she only had a sip of the sweet alcohol. She also had some cream puffs at the party, and offered them to Fox, who was in charge of security. He enjoyed the pastry, and Riyo would love to make them for him, when there’s a place to bake, of course.
“The sensors are on the top shelf. Maybe that’s where the files are.”
“Good eye, senator,” Dipper praised. “I’ll disable it for you.”
“Alright,” she took a deep breath, as she wore her rubber gloves, which won’t leave any trace of fingerprints. Riyo never done a stealth mission before, and she will not fail their team.
Stretching his arms, the ARC Trooper flipped the switch behind the small, black sensors, deactivating it. Using his screwdriver on the pocket knife, he slowly removed them from his shelf, tossing them aside. Riyo searched through every file from the bookshelves, starting from the letter ‘A’.
Audits for Coruscant, Audits for Alderaan, Banking Clan accounts, well, that’s a lot of files that start with the letter ‘B’. Bursary Market, Core World populations…
Dipper tapped his foot as Riyo was still searching through the files. He never thought it wouldn’t take long, but he was mistaken. He always thought anything involving paperwork was easy, but it was otherwise. Counting files from ‘A’ to ‘Z’ was quite a challenge for the both of them, and time is not on their sides. Now I understand why Commander Fox hated paperwork so much.
“The Death of the Young twins, Grand Army of the Republic Protocols,” Riyo muttered underneath her breath, wiping her sweat on her forehead. “Project Cyborg, Project Starfleet, wait, I think I found it.”
“You did?” his face lit up. “Can I see?”
“Yeah sure, the file was named The Assassination of Chancellor Palpatine,” she showed him. “It was pretty easy to find it, if you ask me.”
“Yeah, sure,” he groaned, his clammy hands still gripped on his pistol. I still think this was too easy. I have a funny feeling something bad is going to happen to us soon.”
“We should head to the lift,” Riyo reminded, hiding the files underneath her blazer. “We can’t keep Fox and Tori waiting.”

the general timeline of charade (and later vector too) is like:
18.5ish years before yavin: 5 year-old charade is 'saved' from the pykes on kessel by the empire's Liberating Forces that came to claim the lucrative planet for imperial concerns. she's put into an orphans of the empire program and diverted into Baby's First Military School fairly early on. the man who 'freed' her on kessel is an intelligence agent named thresher, who sees an opportunity in her
10ish years before yavin: now-teenaged charade is taken out of generic imperial navy officer training and dedicated towards intelligence work at the behest of thresher, who has since retired from the field and moved into more of a handler position in MILINT
5ish years before yavin: charade graduates & starts her operational career as a MILINT officer at like, 18 - these are smaller operations, firmly inside imperial space and 'safe', bc thresher has continually groomed her for high-level spy work and would hate to lose his investment right out of the gate. she quickly moves up the ranks (such as they are) and earns a hard-won reputation of excellence
3ish years before yavin: charade starts her new, more dangerous operations in the outer rim (this is where i'm playing her in an eote game) - she's 21ish and still has a massive chip on her shoulder about Everything
1.5ish years before yavin: 23 year-old charade gets moved/demoted to ISB and posted with vector. her foundation of strong and impeachable belief in the empire is looking Very Shaky, and the bullshit she'll put up with / discover / fall into in the next year will almost entirely shatter her. vector is courted by rebel cell outreach and was very :/ abt the empire to begin with; the dissolution of the senate results in him making his decision to join the rebellion and charade being forced to confront her entire life and perception of self crumbling
alderaan/yavin: in the chaos of this event, charade (maybe 24 by now?) and vector Vanish from imperial space without a trace and the rebellion gets a new diplomat and a much less-public spy, who eventually gets recruited into the fulcrum program
#speedrun literal brainwashing and being rehabilitated by a very nice bugboy all in 1.5ish years#charade#i love her :/ shes very stupid

@flyboypoedameron — ||Closed STARTER||
It had been luck in catching the Resistance pilot since Crait. He’d landed himself right into a FO interrogation chamber, and Hux had delighted in watching him squirm at the hands of Ren, at the hands of the FO ISB agents, and, on occasion, at the hands of Hux’s own ministrations. He still remembered the stench of sweat, blood, and other bodily fluids, had taken too much pleasure in seeing the pilot reduced to nothing. But Hux had had other plans, and for the first time, Ren had agreed with him. Recondition the Resistance’s star pilot, mold him into a FO pilot. It had been difficult of a feat to accomplish, but Hux prided himself in perfecting the reconditioning process. It had worked. But as of late, the seams had started to crumble over the months, and Hux found himself doubting the reconditioning. Reports missing, files completely wiped from the databases. Hence he’d ordered the now turned FO pilot to his office for questioning, a soft interrogation of sorts. »»» “DL-243, I do hate to ask,” he began, leaning forward on his desk, “but have you noticed anything missing while grounded?”

Light Of Lothal
Summary: Kallus knew nothing about parenting or raising children, yet here he was, adopting a child who had just lost his parents and was now being hunted by the Empire that he worked for. It was insane, but Kallus didn’t regret his decision for one second.
So I decided to post this a little early for May the 4th!
Read it on AO3
Next>>>
In the far outskirts of Lothal’s capitol city a young boy hid in a crumbling communications tower, desperately trying to find shelter from the cold winter air, blissfully unaware of the band of Stormtroopers coming to the tower to investigate an alert they received about a break in at the tower. Though the Empire had long since abandoned the crumbling tower, the Empire was on high alert after an attack by a band of Rebels on the Capitol city a week earlier.
Agent Kallus wearily eyed the broken down tower, wondering how anyone could have survived getting far enough inside to set the alarm off. He was fairly certain it was most likely a loth cat or some other small animal that had tripped the alarm, he had only recently joined ISB however, who was he to question his superiors?
“Alright let’s move in,” Kallus ordered, “But be careful, the tower could be very unstable.” His men nodded so Kallus led the way inside the building, weary of any traps the potential intruder might have left for them, moving as silently as possible to try and catch the intruder by surprise.
Kallus raised hand, signaling for his men to stop, a small frown on his face as he listened. Crying, someone, no a child, was crying. Why was a child here? Kallus signaled for his men to spread out and find the source of the crying, remaining on guard in case it was an elaborate trap.
“Got you!” One of the troopers shouted, followed by a scream of terror. He yanked a small boy, no more than six from his hiding spot, throwing him in the ground in the middle of the room. “What are you doing here?” He shouted. The boy didn’t respond, curling up in a tight ball, sobbing uncontrollably. “Answer boy!”
“I-I’m sorry-“ The boy whimpered.
“That’s not an answer!” The trooper snarled, kicking the boy’s stomach.
“Stop!” Kallus snapped, grabbing the troopers arm and yanking him away from the boy, putting himself between him and the trooper.
“He broke into an Imperial facility-“
“He’s a child!” Kallus snapped.
“Children are not above the law.”
“I’m not saying he is, but I will not allow you to beat a child!” Kallus scolded. “I will interrogate him.”
“Yes sir,” The trooper grumbled, Kallus turning his attention to the boy, who let out a terrified whimper and scurried back until he was against the wall, curling up in a tight ball. With a heavy sigh, Kallus moved closer to the boy, kneeling down in the hopes of looking less threatening and sternly asked,
“Why did you break into this building?”
“I-I was cold, please don’t hurt me,” the boy whimpered.
“We won’t hurt you,” Kallus assured. “but you did break into an Imperial Facility and are out past cerfew-“
“I-I don’t have anywhere else to go,” The boy cried. “Bad men burned my house down and I-I can’t find my mamma or papa.” Kallus’s body tensed at the boys words. Rebels there had been a Rebel attack a week ago where dozens of homes where burned to the ground. Has he been out on his own this whole time searching for his parents?
“Do you have any family friends you can stay with?” Kallus asked.
“…my parents said If I was ever in trouble to trust Tseebo….but he wouldn’t open the door,” the boy whimpered, tears streaming down his cheeks. “No one will help me.”
“I will help you find your parents then,” Kallus said.
“…really?” the boy whimpered, wiping his tears.
“Yes,” Kallus said, “Come with me and we’ll sort this all out.
“…Will I be punished?” the boy whimpered.
“No,” Kallus assured, “I will explain the situation, just promise you won’t do this again.”
“….Okay….” he mumbled, tentatively coming out.
“Come, let’s go find your parents.” Kallus said. The boy sniffled, suddenly darting out and throwing his arms around Kallus’s neck, nuzzling against him and saying,
“Thank you.”
Kallus nervously cleared his throat, patting the boys head, unsure what he was supposed to do. “Your welcome….now come along.” The boy nodded his head and let go, allowing Kallus to stand up, however he immediately grabbed Kallus’s hand, tightly clinging onto it and hovering close to him, clearly uncomfortable with the other troopers. He knew he shouldn’t encourage this kind of affection from the boy, Kallus technically was a total stranger, but he didn’t have the heart to deny the clearly traumatized boy the comfort.
“What is your name?” Kallus asked, realizing he’d never asked.
“Ezra Bridger, what’s yours?” Ezra said, looking up at him with wide eyes.
“You can call me Kallus.” Kallus said as they carefully made their way out of the building, the troopers that had come with him keeping their distance.
“Okay,” Ezra said. “How did you know I was here Mr. Kallus?”
“You set off an alarm in the building,” Kallus explained, as he helped the boy climb over some debris in their path.
“I thought this was abandoned,” Ezra admitted.
“It is for the most part, but we still monitor the building in case we need to use it again.”
“Do you think you will?” Ezra curiously asked.
“I doubt it,” Kallus admitted. “It’s old and outdated.”
“So why keep it?”
“I’m honestly not sure,” Kallus admitted.
“Is there someone you could ask?”
Kallus chuckled and said, “I doubt my superiors would bother to tell me even if they knew.”
“Why?”
“It’s not something I need to know,” Kallus explained.
“If you guys are watching it shouldn’t you know why you’re watching it?” Ezra asked.
“No, I am just supposed to do as I am told,” Kallus said.
“Don’t you want to know why though?”
“Do you always ask this many questions?” Kallus asked.
“….am I annoying you?” Ezra asked in a small voice.
“It’s just a lot of questions,” Kallus awkwardly replied, not wanting to upset the child even more.
“Sorry Mr. Kallus.”
“You don’t have to call me mister,” Kallus gently said. “You can just call me Kallus.”
“Mama and papa said I should always called an adult mister or miss.” Ezra said. “It’s rude not too!”
“You’re making me feel old calling me mister,” Kallus informed him with a small chuckle.
“Mama and papa would say that the elderly are wise!” Ezra exclaimed.
“Are you calling me elderly now?” Kallus asked with a raised eyebrow.
“….no?” Ezra innocently said.
“I don’t believe you,” Kallus sternly said, lifting Ezra up to help him up into the transport.
“Um….sir?” The driver asked, glancing at Ezra in confusion.
“What? Can’t you tell he’s a recruit,” Kallus sarcastically said. “He was here when we came.”
“….he was?” The driver uncertainly asked.
“No,” Kallus sighed, “he was attacked by Rebels and hid in the tower for safety. I’m bringing him with me so we can try and find his family.”
“Right, of course sir.” The driver mumbled, turning away from Kallus. He wasn’t exactly surprised by the troopers response, most people didn’t seem to enjoy his sense of humor.
“Follow me,” Kallus said, walking Ezra to the back of the transport, watching as the others filed in.
“Where are we going?” Ezra nervously asked.
“Back to the capitol city,” Kallus explained. “From there I can access the admittance records of all the hospitals on the planet and see if your parents were taken to one of them.”
“….if they weren’t?”
“There are many other databanks I can access and see if they were listed under any of them,” Kallus assured. “Don’t worry, I promise you I will find your parents, one way or another.”
“….okay,” Ezra said, smiling nervously up at him, curling against his side as the transport started. As long as they’re alive…. Kallus thought to himself as they started towards the city.
