Dude I thought I was crazy, I also thought that the art on the call put post of muramurka was really similar to tankiolayn's artstyle and nobody was pointing it out. ^^^ i love that op is pointing this out bc this is a fundamental aspect of Victor's characterization. he is a sickly - disabled - man living in the late 1700s, he doesn't actually know if any given winter will be his last, and that is why he's had a fascination with the powers of life and death since childhood!! his medical state is one of his most prominent underlying motives. it is the driving force behind his experiments, and i find it endlessly frustrating that it is utterly erased within the popular perception of his character.
