#...guess what I was listening to while writing the reply to the thread with Warden a few weeks ago :y#y u p#in my defense I will say this blog has featured plenty of 'BB' since its beginning- just a different one!#But seriously... as much as I find it kinda funny to put this here because hee hee memey tv show#this is such a perfect fit#the unnerving sensation through the whole song. The pace and subtle buildup that just screams 'looming threat'#the tribal drums. The near-otherwordly vibe of the whole song. The empty haunting lullaby-esque ending#tHE RATTLESNAKE SOUNDS#listened to an extended version of this (mixing various small variations of the track) and it was super useful to get immersed#there's an unearthly wrongness in the air when Cayin and Warden interact... not even related to Cayin's eldritch nature#it's a different flavor of otherwordly horror altogether. Separate from the cosmic or celestial#the bottomless wrongness that can fester purely in the human. A dreadful potential and ambition#music#aesthetic
