The potential risk was through the roof, but the potential reward was shutting down that endless production, thus halting some portion of this Crisis.

. So, he just had to swallow any worries he had. Just death on the line, right? Say what you will about omnics, but they never engaged in torture or heretofore illegal methods of information gathering. You just had to worry about a relatively clean and quick death and letting down your team.
