Summary: You read a book about toxins in the kitchen and now Soobin felt wary of your decision to cook something.

A/N: Someone said not to write for him. Guess whose spite kicked in! Exactly. Mine. I wrote for him now! AND I'D DO IT AGAIN!

Soobin trotted towards the kitchen, humming a soft greeting when he passed you reading on the couch. He opened the fridge, made a few dismissive sounds and closed the door again with a sigh.

“You hungry?” You called out without lifting your eyes away from the book you read.

“Yeah, but nothing we have in the fridge feels right.” Soobin came out of the kitchen area and flopped down on the couch next to you, immediately scooting closer and nuzzling into your side.

“We could bake a pie together”, you suggested - still not looking up from your book. “I know you like pies.”

You didn’t even have to look at Soobin to know his whole being lit up with excitement at the prospect of making a pie. You told him you’d just wanted to finish reading this page before you’d join him, though he was free to grab all the necessary ingredients already.

Soobin kissed your temple and pushed himself up, quickly getting back to the kitchen. “By the way, what are you reading so intently that you wouldn’t even look at me?” He chuckled softly. Soobin would never accuse you of not giving him enough attention, he simply knew you got absorbed in something from time to time.

“Toxins and other dangerous ingredients in the kitchen.”

Soobin halted in his actions. He turned around and looked at you. “Should I read that book too before we start the pie?”

This time you were the one chuckling. “Maybe”, you told him in a teasing tone as you placed the book down and joined him in the kitchen. You wrapped your arms around his middle and pressed your cheek against his back. 

“If you wanna torture me just make it spicy”, he pouted and turned in your hold, so he could look down at you with his large puppy eyes.

“Who said something about torture?”

Soobin groaned upon seeing the mischievous glint in your eyes. He nearly folded himself in half as he tried to hide his face by pushing it into your form. “Pretty sure the spice would kill me too.”

You laughed softly and patted his back. “Now you’re being dramatic, love.” You basically peeled him off of you, keeping him on eye level though so you were able to kiss him. “Let us keep the torture inside the bedroom and make that pie now.”
