It has officially been 14 years since I have become a fan of the one and only miss Taylor Swift! This song means so much to me because it’s the first time I ever heard music I could relate to. I was 8 years old when this song came out and now I’m 22 and I could not imagine where I would be if I didn’t hear this song and fall in love with the lyrics.

I’m really emotional writing this because Taylor has been a huge part of my life growing up. Her music was growing at the same rate and me and I knew I always had her music to lean on during everything. This song changed my life and I am so eternally grateful for getting to know Taylor through her music throughout the last 14 years.

I still remember playing this song (and this entire album) on a loop sitting on my bedroom floor and hearing lyrics that are so raw and so emotional.

Taylor, thank you for always sharing your emotions through songwriting over these years. Thank you for being there for me in the happy and the sad moments. Your music has been the one constant in my life. Thank you for being kind and generous and being you! I can only hope that I’ll get to meet you in person one day and thank you for everything you have ever done for me 💙💙💙💙

Happy 14 Years Of Taylor Swift I wasn't here for the very start but doesn't mean I don't appreciate the album that started it all. The foundation and beautifully written songs have led us to where we are today.
