I hate you two factor authentication!!!! People should be able to access accounts without smartphones!! there are so many people that this keeps from accessing things they need!! I can think of like 50 different groups of people this hinders accessibility for; the elderly who have issues with technology, the homeless logging onto accounts at the public library, those who may not have access to a phone because of abuse poverty or incarceration, or just plain dumbasses like me who lose or misplace or break their phones (I've somehow done all 3 this summer)

10 months ago I accidentally put a sim card in my phone without first putting it in the SIM card tray, like a 1000 year old idiot, and I am still facing the repercussions of this dumb ass mistake

Signing into a Google account on desktop is so annoying it makes me want to actually kill someone. It's like, "do you have access to your phone? No? Fuck you." And then it kicks you in the stomach and maybe punches you in the face for good measure. Signing in on mobile is like "Email and password? You're in :)"
