"Hey now, what's this?" Gray asks as soon as they all finally exit the baths, all wrapped up in warm clothes, fingers pruney from having stayed too long in the water.

Erza looks to her left, sees him looking at her with his head tilted just so, and a smile on his face. She raises an eyebrow at him. "What's what?" she asks, confused.

Gray walks closer, his smile growing. "This," he says, raising a hand and fingering the ends of a lock of Erza's long (again, thankfully, she hated it being so damn short), scarlet hair. "It was some ten inches shorter just an hour ago?" He gives it a gentle tug, probably to prove a point, not hard enough to hurt. "What's this miracle?"

"Oh," Erza says, and she runs a self-conscious hand through said hair. The weight of it on her shoulders and down her back feels something like a beloved safety blanket, and Erza feels like she can breathe properly again, now that it's back to normal. "Yeah. Lucy called out Cancer and he fixed it before we got in the baths."

"I bet it's a relief, huh?"

It is, more than Erza can really express. She almost cried when the Celestial Spirit finished working his magic, but that's just for her to know. "It is, yes."

Gray steps closer, wraps an arm around Erza's shoulders, mindful of her hair, and squeezes her in a warm half-hug. "I'm glad. You look better with it long, anyway."

TIGA PULUH TUJUH

Kita tunda dulu ya mudiknya, sekalian pas lebaran aja, toh sejak menjalani peran baru sebagai istri aku belum pernah lagi merasakan suasana lebaran di rumah sendiri. Rindu pastinya, walaupun hubungan dengan ortu udah nggak sedekat dulu lagi, tapi nggak tau kenapa rasa ingin pulang itu tetap aja ada, mungkin ini efek “darah lebih kental dari air”. Sebaik-baiknya di sini, tetap saja aku merasa “rumahku” adalah di sana. Bulan ini adalah rekor banget selama hidupku mulai dari sekolah sampai kerja, di mana cuma gara2 demi kerjaan aku harus nginep di kantor. iya, nggak salah baca, nginep a.k.a bermalam demi pengajuan PTUP. Dengan sistem pembayaran manual dan eceran, tentu tidak mudah merekap semua itu, salahku juga sih karena aku tidak mencicil merekapnya sejak awal. Mungkin aku yang terlalu malas dan manja karena sudah cukup lelah dan marah dengan keadaan “udah tau ini jabatan baru, eh ada kegiatan baru yang serba mendesak gini, udah gitu sistemnya pun nggak bagus, aku yang transfer aku juga yang ngrekap sendiri.” Sebel banget. Lagi-lagi aku merasa bersalah, bukan hanya sama kamu sayang, melainkan sama papa juga, aku bener-bener merasa nggak berguna sebagai istri, merasa kehilangan peranku, merasa muak capek dan jenuh dengan semua ini, lagi-lagi aku bertanya “apa sih yang ku cari?” Tbh, 20122022
