I didn’t really write much about the Fabian Women’s trip. I wrote and talked about it a lot at the time. I think I’ve been distancing and blocking. Not really sure how to feel about it other than hoping the people directly effected by the bombs are recovering and well. I just had anxiety about being on a crowded train that morning. That’s what I remember the most. We were lucky because we missed it all by a matter of minutes. We saw and felt nothing of those blasts. Then we were safe in the securely locked up EU parliament building. So then. Dairy entry from last year. I was mute on what happened. Seems I didn't write anything for five days. For the most part I was exhausted. It was a friend's birthday that weekend so for the first time in a long while I got very drunk. The reality of the possibility hit me. The point is though - I was totality fine really and had no right to be worried or traumatised.
