It’s very tricky to shoot at @odegaardlibrary. You have to be quiet and try not to bring a lot of attention to yourself, which as you can see is very difficult if your subject is wearing #fireemblem armor. I love this library. Back to some #cosplay since no conventions and the state was shut down for a minute due to COVID19, I’m going to be posting older pictures or re-edit a few. I’m excited for this journey because I usually go through images really quick and don’t look back. Now I get to rediscover them all over again. This was one of the first location shoot I did with @northernviking_ We woke up really early to try to catch the morning fog and dew... there was no such luck that day. We still managed to capture awesome images. Halloween weekend! El Dia de los Muertos, The Day of the Dead. In my culture it’s when we honor our ancestors and the day they can cross over and be with us too. We would visit the cemetery, clean the tombstones and hang out with our dead loved ones. In Mexico the tradition of sugar skulls go back to before the colonization by the Spaniards. Our male body positivity model is @elliott.r.stone. They are a make up artist @urbandecaycosmetics and did their own #sugarskull makeup, which was really cool.
