the more i play the first game the more i'm over 4's over reliance on the whole 50's retrofuturism being shoved down my throat
#like in theory i like the idea a lot#its just the whole idea it stays the same way for 100 years#THEN another 200 years later people are still like that#or at least such a large city like boston would be like that#dead money does this in a better way#it's one small thing literally stuck in the past but also shows the pitfalls of it staying that way#'let go!! <- 'that's not the hard part its letting go!! <-that still messes me up tbh#3 introduced bethy esdas obsession with those aesthetics#then turned it up x1000 in 4#i know i've done it too imagined mira like that but im kind of over it/her staying that way in the wasteland at least not for very long
