i love the nickname TWTR!schneider gives Matilda in the mor pankh fic, it's so cute! does she have nicknames for the others as well?
TWTR!Schneider uses nicknames as a way to create a barrier between her and others. In the arcane world, one's true name holds a lot of power and meaning, which is why most tend to go by another name entirely (or simply lose their true name along the way). It's not often she'd use people's actual names on its own without honorifics.
With that in mind, I actually made a chart I use as reference for the future! There's only people I've guaranteed she'd interact with right now, but maybe someday I'll add the rest.
Default nicknames are meant to be the universal one Schneider uses no matter who she talks to unless specified a different nickname.

Just a little nitpick, I simply love somewhat similar and contrasting details

Obsessed with H.P.'s arc from Seasons 4 to 6:
- Structured a perfect 37-year plan to take over Fairy World through the help of his godson (Legal, consensual)
- Got Fairy World legally signed over to him earlier than planned (Legal, consensual)
- Made a split-second decision to bet Fairy World for the sake of his pride, almost bailed at the betting site to go to a rave instead, and then lost everything (Legal, consensual)
- Put shock collars on two people and laughed because "It's hilarious" (Illegal but only because Jorgen is the only one legally allowed to torture Fairies??, consensual)
- Went to a rave. Is apparently a V.I.P. who can skip the line because he shows up so often. Shortly after, godson helped him take over Fairy World (Legal, consensual). Returned home. Kicked back with drinks in the hot tub. Still in party brain.
- Stalked a pregnant couple and kidnapped their baby (Whoa, hold up-). Confirmed to have snuck into a club in Rio sometime before arriving at the hospital.
- Obsessed with being this one specific 10-year-old's hero to the point that he handfed him pizza and money (Idk if Fairy World has a law against shoving coins in a child's mouth seeing as Jorgen also shoved a bomb in Timmy's mouth, but it wasn't consensual)
- Cheated in the Fairy World Games (H.P., why?) and dunked on his old business partner who'd just invited him to a dinner party, which I can only assume was not the type of party he had in mind
Sir, you were within the rules for so long and I believe your own pride led you to crash and burn. Sir. What is up with you.
Fairy World was literally in your hands. You were already in charge. You had that one in the bag. You twice had it in the bag. Can you stay focused on taking over the world instead of ditching the corporate grind for raves for 5 MINUTES?!?!?

Thumbling
The people tell me I’m a lucky one,
’Cause even though I am a wish-born child
(Those never come out normal, like you want),
At least I’m human-shaped from head to heel.
Not like that monster, Hans, the next town, over,
Who’s just a prickly hedgehog, snout to waist,
So he must spend his life behind the stove,
On a moldy bed of straw, with bugs to eat.
A burden to his father – such a shame!
And then, they start to argue: When’s the last
That anyone had caught a glimpse of him?
Some hope he’s finally dead, and so at peace.
The people tell me I’m a lucky one,
’Cause even though I’ll never grow a whit,
At least I’m handsome, and I’m clever, too.
And I can help to drive my father’s cart,
Whispering commands in Dobbin’s ear.
They say I’m blessed. I grit my teeth and nod,
Not like that poor boy Hans, the next town over.
My parents love me like a wish come true,
And listen to me when I have ideas.
My father built a bed that’s just for me.
My mother stitched a coat that’s just my size.
My supper dish may be an acorn cap,
But I have had my fill of bread and cheese.
They tell me to be glad I’m not like Hans.
And I am glad. I wish they’d notice why.
I wrote this poem back in 2016, as a response to a comment from a former primary care physician who said I was lucky to have the kind of cerebral palsy that "didn't come with [an intellectual disability]."*
When I said that, in my experience, intellectual disability was no more common in people with C.P. than in the general population, he cited his experience with other patients who had C.P. -- children who lived in the local Residential Institution for the Disabled. I countered, again, that if my luck were indeed rare, it was in having a mother who fought to keep me out of institutions.
He said the fact that I had C.P. was making me biased.
{sigh}
*I don't actually remember if he used that phrase, or the other phrase, that's considered a slur by members that community.
