snom (snake mom) i need help! i recently upgraded my ball python to a 45gal tub, my temps and humidity are all good and ive triple checked (i have three thermometers/hygrometers and two different heat guns), everythints good, theres plenty of cover-- but my son just wont stop digging!! he loves to dig! i put all these lovely plants and climbs in, so why is he so obsessed with the new three inches of aspen? is it just like that?? do some bps just love to dig?? thank you for your help!! ;;^;;

This is probably a very dumb question and I am very very sorry, but is 5gal ultimately ok for a betta? I know that 2.5gal is the MINIMUM for a betta so 5gal should be ok, I'm just worried about it not being good in the long run. I have a betta in a 10gal and a betta in a 45gal(with appropriate peaceful tankmates) so the only size that room would allow would be a 5gal. Again very sorry if this is a stupid question I'm just worried about it not being ok as a long-term home for a betta

I'm actually in the camp that five gallons is the minimum for a betta, and I've regularly kept mine in a tank that size. You'd have no problems keeping them in one.

I grew up with a ton of fish tanks around the house. Salt and freshwater ranging from 1 to 250 gallons.
