" Another murder left unsolved. The victim is covered in wounds unexplainable by normal means. What exactly is the perpetrator aiming for? "
保護者 || The night at Chiba Prefecture may be young, but it wasn't necessary a night for someone like Jun. She cupped her chin and gazed upon the deceased body. Such brutal sight... Did the victim truly deserve the horror placed upon them? Their history, their past actions, their beliefs, their motives, their purpose. All of that V A N I S H in a blink of an eye thanks to the murderer. It's a common ground for every case Jun tackles, but it's difficult to become numb to it. Experience only hardens her. Police sirens continue to blare in the background of the narrow alleyway as she felt rain droplets begin to make its way down to their level. A light shower. Not enough to obscure their vision, but it's almost enough to hinder her investigation with a slight annoyance. An exhale. Then, she glanced over her shoulder. Hm... Was that person always there from the start of the investigation?

Surprise poking leads to a powerful reaction! Of course, the scream was also probably loud enough to alert half the base.

     " Hm? Oh-- It's you, Nachi... "
♫ » Here the flutist was in the dock, her body submerged in the substance fitting for a ship to H E A L and mend one's wounds. After gruesome number of months forced into training, the least Deuce-- or rather, Kashii, was implemented into the naval conflict. Armed with the necessary rigging and equipment... It was a bit worrisome if she would even get out alive. Yet there was a certain heavy cruiser that protected her through the ordeal. A simple sortie, but a H E A V Y price befall upon them regardless. Even Deuce's vague memories of fighting for Rubrum was all for naught. Integrating such skills is impossible the first time around. ( what luck, what luck! she got away with minor damages ! ) A faint exhale left her moistened lips.
♫ » She lowered her petite figure till only her head remains afloat. Green hues shifted elsewhere but the older female. Should she apologize for troubling Nachi? Deuce wasn't exactly the only ship hurt in the heated exchange with the Abyssals...

The #Messiah @LouisFarrakhan warns "It's time for WAR. I heard the Hon #ElijahMuhammad say that Allah #MasterFardMuhammad is going to destroy the 6th AND 7th Fleet. Russian SU-24 jets practiced attack on a U.S. Navy destroyer in the Black Sea
A United States Navy Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer operating in international waters in the Black Sea experienced several close interactions by Russian aircraft on December 23.
USS Ross (DDG 71) encountered multiple, aggressive flight maneuvers by Russian aircraft that were performed within close proximity of the ship.
Two Russian SU-24 jets, accompanied by Su-27 (Su-30) fighters, made numerous close-range, low altitude passes and practiced a mock attack on the U.S. Navy destroyer en route to Odesa, according to a statement issued Tuesday by Air Force Command of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“The aircraft completed the maneuver typical of an aerial strike by cruise missiles and returned to the airfield,” the Ukrainian Armed Forces message states.
This is the eighth time a U.S. Navy ship has visited the Black Sea since the beginning of 2019. The last ship to visit the Black Sea was USS Porter (DDG 78) in October. During its time in the Black Sea, Porter conducted a trilateral passing exercise with Ukraine and Romania, and strategic engagements during port visits to Odesa, Ukraine, and Batumi, Georgia.
“Throughout the year, U.S. 6th Fleet assets have operated in the Black Sea in support of our regional partners and allies,” said Vice Adm. Lisa M. Franchetti, commander, U.S. 6thFleet. “Ross’ transit demonstrates our continued commitment to security and stability in the maritime domain.”
Ross, forward-deployed at Naval Station Rota, Spain, is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe. The U.S. Navy routinely operates in the Black Sea consistent with international law, including the Montreux Convention.
U.S. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied, and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.

" ...what are you looking at? "
忠実 || The night was young and so was the heart of Chiba. Crowds. Noise. Lights. How A N N O Y I N G. The samurai, who was thrusted back to her appropriate time, wanted nothing more than to tuck herself away from this life. Still... It was much better than the past. Death didn't loom over her shoulder as frequently. Hands in her sweater's pocket, the ex-samurai wandered about till she came upon the city's border. A naval base nearby. Perfect. That means no one would pester her if she keeps her distance. Just the right amount of distance between the civilians and the government-owned premise. Yet that didn't stop her from noticing a figure in the distance. Back still facing the presence, Shion narrowed her eyes. The warrior's armed and she always has been. If worse comes to worse, she won't hesitate to U N S H E A T H E her katana.
