The first thing you should note, right at this very moment, is that running is absolutely balls — like in general. But, running in the ridiculous flat shoes of your Cleopatra costume was balls.

Now, the reason as to why you were currently running and hating every second of it was because you and Yeosang had decided to pull the biggest prank of Halloween this year. You hadn’t meant for it to be as big as it ended up as however, when the glitter and colour dust bomb went off earlier than expected almost everyone present at the party had been doused head-to-toe in rainbow glitter while the two of you made your getaway in the colour cloud. You only realised you had been followed when you heard the loud and obnoxious calls of a group of particularly angry party-goers.

Yeosang had grabbed you by the hand and the two of you had sprinted off.

Out of the corner of your eye you spotted an alleyway coming up and in a split second you had taken control and pulled Yeosang into the slim alleyway and out of sight. The two of you held your breaths as the ‘mob’ rushed by, curses and glitter following in their stead, and when you were sure they had all gone your gazes fell upon each other.

After a few beats of silence the two of you fell into laughter. Yeosang lent back against the wall, head banging gently as his giggles grew louder. You, on the other hand, leant forward, eyes closed so you hadn’t noticed, and fell against his chest.

Your combined laughter fizzled back to silence as the two of you realised just how close you were to each other. Slowly, you glanced up to see Yeosang was already looking down at you with a small smile.

You couldn’t help but return it while your fingers laced, him pulling you out of the alleyway to make your way back home.
