He's adorable. And so honest. And sweet about it, too.
I love his sincerity.
And the way he slapped his cheating ex. A+

A new Taiwanese BL Appears: web drama A Perfect Match releases it's first oficial poster!
Starring Chuck Yu and Ricky Liu:
The drama follows an unexpected romance between a young man who is passionate in tennis and a domineering boss.
I believe this one wrapped filming around late October/early November and star Ricky Liu has stated that we are getting more info very soon.
Production also released a song from the ost featuring the vocals of both actors with scenes from the drama in the music video.

@babyangelsky, we are going to have FOUR Taiwanese BLs showing at once!
A Perfect Match airs February 24.

From My Drama List:
Cheng Tian Xiang, a sunny young man who loves tennis, rescues a young girl, Lin Xiao Ruo, and accidentally meets her cold brother, Lin Xiao Nan, an ice-cold outward appearance and a soft-hearted general manager of an enterprise. Cheng Tian Xiang's innocence gradually melts Lin Xiao Nan's defences, and the two of them move from antagonism to ambiguity, with love quietly sprouting. However, the entanglement of old love and the emergence of new love make this relationship full of twists and turns. Will they be able to cross the heart wall and embrace their own happiness?
I think the international platform is IQIYI, but not sure. I also don't think it's color-coded, but I love that the character posters lean into the summary of the plot since "Cheng Tian Xiang, a sunny young man who loves tennis" has a yellow poster, and "Lin Xiao Nan, [with] an ice-cold outward appearance" has a blue poster.

Graphics department earned its paycheck!

I was probably still processing all the ways that Charlotte & Elisabeth are related when I watched season 3, so I didn't really think about Alt-Martha being the grandmother of her grandfather. But Alt-Martha is not only Tronte's grandmother, she is also Tronte's grandmother. The Unknown only exists in one world, and he had Tronte in both worlds. This means Alt-Martha has two grandsons.
Alt-Martha is the grandmother of her grandpa, but also of the Tronte of Adam's World. She is the great-grandmother of her dad, but also of the Ulrich of Adam's World.
This makes her the great-great-grandmother not only of both versions of Magnus and Mikkel, but also of herself. Which means that Martha of Adam's world is also her great-great-granddaughter. Martha can't exist without Alt-Martha.
Jonas loves Alt-Martha as he loved another version of her before. Jonas and Martha could only fall in love in Adam's world because Jonas fell in love with Alt-Martha. They are both descendants of their own son, so they could only exist through their love. Jonas and Martha will always gonna love every version of each other.

I'll keep this one short, really short, I mean there isn't much to talk about anyways.
A Perfect Match is bonkers. It's completely off-the-rails, with not a care for continuity or logic, things happen in such neck-breaking speed that the word rushed doesn't quite cover it.
The plot is a mishmash of stories that keep piling up until you can barely remember how it all started, there is an office plot, there is a nanny/foster family segment, there is a tennis tournament, there is an evil ex who teams up with one of the main couple's competitors in the tennis tournament in a scheme to break the main couple up so they lose a match. A lot happens.
And none of that with a established time-frame, for all intends and purposes this whole show happened in the spam of two days.
It's completely manic, not leaving a single second for us to breathe and stop to think of what is happening, you just have to go with the flow.
Technically it's very low budget, like very low, and unfortunately they don't have the know-how of a VIDOL to make up for the lack of sophistication. But there is something deliciously kitschy about the whole thing. I often found myself laughing at odd product placements, makeshift solutions for certain stunts, sudden cuts that caused awkwardness.
If anything it's a past time filled with involuntary humor that only Taiwan could provide. Also, the actors have phenomenal bodies and the show is not above exploiting that.
Top 10 moments under the cut:
The gramma finding the protagonist's naked photos with his ex, because they are on his BEDSIDE TABLE. And her later on being shocked that he is gay... like girl please! Get in with the program!!
Everything regarding the job interview that kick-starts the show, because it's was the first plot and nobody brings it up ever again once the lead becomes a nanny.
I got whiplash from how fast he moved from his ex, one minute he was literally getting on his knees (in a gym shower stall 😖) and the next he was having A Moment with his boss(?)
They barely knew each other and the boss thought it was a good idea to share his Tragic Backstory after one glass of wine, and worse still was the main get so wasted that he slept naked on this strange man's house.
This all happened in one day.
I never really understood what the hell they worked on, because one moment they had beauty supply line to manage and the next they had this tennis tournament at the gym and nothing made any sense.
The kid sister completely lording over their lives because gods-forbid to get her some professional help.
Whoever edited the mains having a clash with the gramma and immediately cutting to them having sex ✋🏻 ABSOLUT CINEMA 🤚🏻
When it was revealed that the ex only tried to get back with the main because he was in a evil scheme to get them out of the tennis tournament that apparently is taken very seriously. And everything is discovered because the main's best friend happened to be at the same café that the villains decided to plot the evil plan. Because you know, Taiwan is small I guess.
The whole ending, from that simply crazy beach reunion to the final montage, I could not believe any of this was real.
And there you have it! This is show is a freaking mess and I watched it all!!!
4/10 - on a good day 8/10 - if you decided to watch it drunk
#a perfect match#bl review#it's like a poor's man version of HIStory: Right or Wrong#but like VERY poor lol

I was unsure if A Perfect Match was color coded even though the character posters stated that "Cheng Tian Xiang, a sunny young man who loves tennis" and "Lin Xiao Nan, [with] an ice-cold outward appearance" were the leads.

But now that I have watched it, I'm sure that they are color coded because Lin Xiao Nan is a smart and distant Blue Boy while Cheng Tian Xiang is a happy and bright Yellow/Orange Oddity.
Cheng Tian Xiang's ex is a Black Brooder who shows all the negative traits of his color.
But we don't care about that unimportant, arrogant, and secretive jerk.
Because I only care about these two color-coded boys!
And they are in love in their pinks!
It's all because Lin Xiao Nan's little sister is the heart that brings them together.
This little Pink Person might be wild, but she is efficient, so her antics get the job done and get her the parents she rightfully deserves.
She also helps Cheng Tian Xiang's Green Gal bestie deal with his ridiculousness.
She has a lot on her plate because she also has to handle Cheng Tian Xiang's grandma, who I think is a Red Rascal.
But even though she has some sass in her, she is a lovely lady.
And everyone is supportive of our Blue Boy and Yellow/Orange Oddity being in love.
So Cheng Tian Xiang only needs to see Lin Xiao Nan's true color (and body) once to know he is falling in love.
He instantly wears Lin Xiao Nan's blue color.
And is immediately miserable about it.
But, once again, thankfully Lin Xiao Nan's little sister is up to her ways and brings the color-coded boys together, which means I get to see that both boys are actually wearing both of their colors in their outfits of blue, yellow, and orange stripes!
They really are in love!
So regardless of what else happened in this silly little show, the kisses were good.
The love was real.
The colors were coloring.
And Taiwan flexed its marriage equality muscle.
Which means my color-coded boys in love got their happy ending.
And I loved it!
