“Come around...17:30. I have a reservation for us for a restaurant in Shibuya. Trust me, it was not easy to get a reservation for this place.” He was feeling pretty confident of himself now, remembering the stuff that Sojiro told him about taking care of a lady when it came to a date. “Don’t worry about paying, this is all on me. I made sure to save some money that I had from all those times in the metaverse just in case. Guess it’s working out in our favor now, huh?”

Oh right. Futaba was a master hacker and at times absolutely terrified Ren. The fact that she was able to give the name of this child so easily like this who had sent him an ultimately harmless comment and was talking about going to the metaverse to deal with this? Quite scary. He was just glad that she was on their side. Otherwise well, there was a good chance that they would all be in prison for what they had done. “If you think that they have a heart that needs changed then sure...we’ll have to ask the group about it first. Unanimous rule and all that.”

“Ah, old man, you hungry?” It was nice that they had Zenkichi as part of the Phantom Thieves crew now, despite the initial distrust of him. After all, if it wasn’t for him, they would most likely be trapped in his daughter’s jail until they were forcibly converted or something else. Who knew what was going to happen. Ren was currently making Gyutan Stew and it was simmering, the scent wafting all around the area. The others were definitely hungry after a Jail expedition and there was no doubt that he was hungry as well. “Making Gyutan Stew because that’s what the crew all voted for. If you want some, it’ll be done soon.”
