Okay, so now what? Should we use a simple alphabet cipher to figure out what the numbers mean?

This is so spooky, but we might be able to prevent anything TOO bad from happening if we can solve the mystery!

Ok, I think I figured it out. If every number is a letter of the alphabet from 1-26, that should be pretty easy.

It could even be encoded behind a key word

it's not number cipher (A1-Z26)

not reverse number cipher (A26 - Z1)

it's not a transposition cipher (c to u or c to i)

if you put all the pages one on top of the others and lower opacity the letters don't fit anywhere that makes sense

im gonna add more as i go

“I don’t know, I didn’t understand it much. Sounded like bits out of that ‘Bible’ book, some sort of dreamer. She mostly said it was just some silly nonsense but part of it’s just got me thinking. What does the godhead know about my steak sauce? How come they’re so confused? It just kind of unnerves me.”

“Yeah. That is pretty strange. Which vault did you say this was in?”

“Vault 26.”

“Where’s that?”

They never got their answer, because despite hearing that reply, before he even spoke the man had fallen asleep.

I only know one or two real cyphers as well. Here’s one of my favorite sort, perhaps you can solve it! But it’s perfectly alright if not, have no fear.

I don't think I'm familiar with this one, though perhaps I'm overlooking something. I don't really know any "real" ciphers that would be genuinely secure to use, just fun ciphers that children like to write secret notes in. Caesar, A1-Z26, that kind.
