#Backwards Message

Some backwards messaging experiments featuring Lucy and @lovelylivelyv 's Jack. Being supernatural, both Lucy and Jack (and Simon too, but I don't have ideas for him here) can both hear and speak backwards speech. Kind of fits with the whole "speaking in tongues" trope. I've talked about them being able to HEAR the messages but haven't done much with them being able to speak it.

This was kind of interesting to do. I had to write the original message in order to visually reverse the letter order before I could write the coded version.

Note: Drac, Mavis, Dennis, Audrey, and Bendy can probably also do this, and of course Bloo can canonically do this. (Not sure about Alice, it's possible. But a few Bendy game secrets are done as backwards whispering.)

I think I found a thing on thisisnotawebsitedotcom.

If you type "naitsuaf" into the computer you will get an advertisment for selling your soul.

("naitsuaf" is "faustian" backwards, a word that refers to the act of making a deal with a demon, from the name Faust, a necromancer from a classic German legend who makes a pact with the devil)

If you continue by clicking "Are you ready?" you will get a contract to sell your soul. If you then click "Sign" a message will appear saying "Pleasure doing business with you" and the candle flame will turn blue.

Now return to the computer and click the little wheel to the left of the red button.

Before making the deal, this just produces static. Now, it should sound different.

I recorded the audio and reversed it, and this is what I think it says:

"The sky's on fire.

Everything is burning.

How could this happen?

You killed them all.

Remember us."

There is a bit at the beginning that can't be fully heard, but it sounds like the end of "Remember us" which makes me think that it might be a loop.

My best guess is that it's a message to Bill from someone in his home dimension (perhaps one of his parents?) about him destroying it.

Woth noting: other people have found something through the code "valliscineris"; an image of a young Bill with (presumably) his parents, who are censored by static. An audio plays on loop, a voice saying "Why did you do it?" in a robotic voice. This voice happens to sound very similar to the voice in the reversed audio above.

I don't know if anyone else has found this already, but I haven't seen any posts about it and it seems pretty cool.

Acting like Nickel and Suitcase not making up is a good message about not needing to forgive ppl who hurt you is crazy to me because like, this is the same movie that forced Knife and Marsh to live together. That made Mic forgive Taco despite him still being a dangerous person to be around and literally just saying the word sorry. Like man I do not think they’re sending that message at all. They didn’t even do anything with Nickel and Suitcase’s relationship that’d make that meaningful

You mentioned Ambroys was born out of an mlp era, now Im wondering is there an mlp version of Ambroys?

Ah, perhaps unclear wording on my part, but Ambroys wasn't born out of an MLP era. I never actually watched MLP.

If you go through his tag in reverse, you can see him develop -- he started life as a comedic one-off D&D PC who I got overly attached to and he then wormed his way into being a favorite character through sheer force of stupidity. (There are still relics of his era as a simple joke, like the fact that his last name is a groan-worthy pun, even now.)

So, like all my characters, his "real" design is that of a human(oid). I only made a furry version of him to play in Chocodile's setting, Amaranthine, which has anthro characters as a rule. I made him a unicorn for ~symbolic reasons~ and not out of any particular affinity for ponies, little or otherwise. I just thought an equine would be the best translation of his themes and humanoid appearance (like his long face and buck teeth). My other ideas for his fursona were a phoenix/peacock, a lion, a heraldic panther or a sighthound, by the way.

...I could make an MLP version of him, though. That might be a fun thing to doodle while I'm sick.

It's part of the reason most humans don't trust them. It's also part of the reason most Good Neighbours don't want anything to do with humans.
