What difference did it even make? Leave or stay, it was all the same... Cloud would still be as gay as the day is long. Assassin’s Creed AU

Featuring: @theo-chaussard Content warnings: death, blood The air was cool as it ruffled her long, dark hair currently pulled back in a low ponytail, but Yvonne made no effort to pull up her hood. Her eyes flicked around her in search of any guards wandering off their usual path. Three days of observation had been spent just on the guard paths, routines, and camera placements, but one could never be too careful. Human beings didn’t always stick to predestined paths, after all. When she was certain the coast was clear, she wrapped her hands into the worn out hand holds and started climbing. How many Assassins had climbed this path before, paving the way for her on this mission, just one in a long line of followers of The Creed?

It was slow going, and more than once Yvonne was convinced her fingers were going to fall off, but eventually she made it to the top of Westminster Abbey. She crept along the uneven roof, her eyes open for one small window, almost forgotten if it wasn’t for centuries old blueprints that her team had studied for weeks leading up to tonight. When she found what she was looking for, Yvonne unsheathed one of her hidden blades and pried open the window which swung open on the creakiest hinges she’d ever heard. Slipping inside the window, Yvonne didn’t bother hiding her giggle as the room appeared exactly as the blueprints described.

The clicking of feet against the worn stone floor clued her into another’s presence long before the clicking of the safety on his gun did. Yvonne didn’t even bother hiding her chuckle as she held her hands up by her head and turned to face her company. His face was still obscured by the shadows, but his height and the subtle smell of “Fuck you, I’m French” wafting through the air gave his identity up in a moment. Once upon a time, the sight of this particular Templar would have brought a smile to her lips, but tonight she wished it was anyone but him.

“Théo, what a pleasant surprise. I didn’t know you were into midnight strolls in Westminster Abbey.”

She took a step forward, and while his arms stiffed, he made no other move. Seeing her opening, Yvonne closed the distance between them, pushing his gun down and away from her. Looking into his eyes, the same blue that greeted her every time she looked at their daughter, her heart fluttered for a moment. Once upon a time, when she was younger and less jaded by the world, all it would have taken for her to abandon her entire life were a few words from Théo. But that was years ago, and both of them had made their decisions about where their loyalties lay. All that remained was one last appeal to their past in this moment.

“Come on, we’re both adults. I’m sure we can work something out.”

Théo’s jaw locked and it was only the strength of her instincts that allowed Yvonne to push his gun hand away with her bracer long enough to disarm him, the pistol sliding along the floor out of reach of both of them. Here Théo took advantage of his superior strength to grab Yvonne’s wrist and twist it behind her back. His voice was low as he leaned down to speak directly into her ear.

“I gave you a chance, Yvonne. You know that the Assassins don’t care about you. Why do you think they sent you on a mission where your father, the Mentor, knew I would be waiting for you. This is a test, a test everyone knows you’re going to fail. And I doubt they’re going to be very forgiving when you fail.”

Yvonne squirmed against his grip, but Théo had wrapped his free arm around her to hold her in place as he continued to speak.

“For all the Assassins speak of Freedom and Truth, we both know they’re know different than the Templars. But while we seek to control Humanity for its own good, the Assassins seek to control their members. They seek to control you.”

Yvonne closed her eyes, taking a deep breath as she let her senses open and the words of the Creed flow over her. Nothing is true. Whatever relationship Yvonne and Théo had, however genuine the emotions were in the time, it was over. They owed each other nothing. Even their daughter wasn’t enough to bind them together with the strength of the Order and the Brotherhood pulling them apart.

Everything is permitted. Only one of them was walking out of this church with their life intact. No matter what they said to each other in a last minute plea, Maddie was losing one parent. Perhaps it was heartless of her, but Yvonne would do everything in her power to make sure the parent actually raising her was the one to walk out with the Piece of Eden in hand.

Without a word, Yvonne stomped on Théo’s foot, taking advantage of his momentary confusion to twist around and thrust her second hidden blade, obscured by the sleeves of her jacket, just between his fourth and fifth ribs, straight into his heart. She looked him dead in the eyes as he gasped in shock and she used all of her strength to gently help him to the floor. Her right hand reached out to stroke his cheek while her bloody hand rested on top of the hand he was using to stifle the bleeding in vain.

“I-I….”

Yvonne pressed one last kiss to his lips as she gently shushed him.

“Repose en paix. May you find the peace in the After that you never found in Life.”

When his eyes were glassy and lifeless, Yvonne reached up to close them before standing up. Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out a white handkerchief and dipped it into the pool of blood on his chest before grabbing a second and wiping down his hands and face. It felt cold, leaving her baby daddy’s body laying out on the floor, but she wasn’t strong enough on her own to move the body anywhere. Besides, she still had a job to finish.

At the front of the room sat an unassuming box on a mantle. Crossing the room, Yvonne pulled the lid open to reveal an staff head in the shape of a mythological beast covered in glowing, geometric lines resting on a pillow. As she reached out to touch it, visions flooded her mind of a long-extinct civilization, of all those who’d come in contact with the artifact, and what Yvonne could only presume was the future. As she came to her senses, she heard the sound of guards running up the stairs. She threw the box into her bag and climbed out the window she entered through onto the roof. Touching her earpiece, she said, “Mission accomplished. The staff head is in my possession. I’m heading to the rendezvous point now.”

She continued climbing to the top, and as she balanced on the spire, she let herself take in the city of London. Even in the night sky, she could se for miles as the city stretched beyond the horizon and into what seemed like eternity. Her eyes focused in on a pile of hay, seemingly out of place in the modern day city to all but those who knew. With one last look, she took a deep breath and took the Leap of Faith into the cold, night air.

So, Y’know how I have that actual celestial au?

All the celestials (sun moon lunar earth eclipse bm kc(deceased)) are a family, but eclipse and bm always wanted chaos and to wreak havoc. The others wanted peace in the universe. KC (their adoptive father, as the creator, their actual father vanished millennia ago) kept them together and stopped them from fighting. But, KC died in a way unknown to anyone (as the celestials are immortal) and after that, the universe erupted into chaos. The siblings split sides, Sun, Moon, Lunar, and Earth taking on the duties of the universe (Sun controlling the light and warmth the universe got, moon controlling the dark and shadows, lunar controlling the stars and protection of the universe, and earth controlling the planets and life itself.) while eclipse and bm went into hiding, hatching a plan to seize control. Eclipse and Bm created the antimatter, capable of destruction unknown. And Lunar created the Astral Bodies to defend against this evil.

Out of the main four, Earth is the main ruler, as she is the key factor of all life in the universe although she is the youngest sibling. Sun and Moon control day and night, as well as the corresponding powers that come with that. Lunar is in charge of protecting the universe and is the main strategist for battle. He also controls the stars and that light in the dark.

The other two siblings, Eclipse and Bm, control mysteries (eclipse) and death (bm), two main problems if with them.

Solar, the celestial messenger, takes on the job of making sure peace is kept, and notifying the main four if it is not.

Ruin, on the other hand, is the messenger for Eclipse and Bm, by force. He does mostly the same as Solar but for the other side (and not willingly).

It is still unknown what happened to the creator.

It is still unknown why or how KC died.

SHIPS:

Monty x Earth: Monty is a mortal, but Earth fell for him/her/them anyway and therefore has a special place on the throne next to her for them, she plans to make him a celestial when they get married. (Which is probably a long way down the road)

Lunar x Gemini?: if I put this in, it’s basically the opposite of in cannon. Gemini has a crush on Lunar, however they won’t dare tell him, as he is technically their boss. Who knows though, lunar might like them back.

I will not kill Solar. That’s all for now.

ok so i had this idea

so, rover’s a traveler right?? why would he stay in that farmhouse? imagine me and rover living in an rv, traveling across the country together. that’d be so cool

another idea i had: kk isn’t dead. as i get older and lonelier, i start secretly hooking up with older guys. one of them happens to be kk, who’s annoyed by me at first because he doesn’t like kids, but warms up to me and goes CRAZY fucking me. i’ll keep you updated.

I will make no excuses. This is the biggest example of self indulgent art ive done since my birthday last year. I have no fucking clue what au this is. I jsut wanted to draw Sabo as a sheep, Ace as slutty and greasy as i could with him still being hot in my eyes, and luffy with adorable little bear ears. Also that shading on luffy’s pic was really fun to make.

I had a physical reaction to drawing the little animals. Theyre. Everything. To me.

Why luffy is bear- bears are so food motivated i love them.

Why sabo is sheep- rebelling against fate’s design, breaking from herd mentality, etc etc

Why ace is coyote- it’s really funny how people keep thinking theyre cats or dogs and take them in but theyre just feral creatures. Very similar to Ace me thinks.

I wanted to make luffy and ace typical predators of sheep. Something something them born to destroy the system of all that has ever been (harking back to that herd mentality) something something also breaking that promise too to be brothers with someone from that system

Ace wakes up on a random island two years after his death as a ten-year-old. But he has no memory of his adult life. Sabo just died, and he has a little brother to look after. Or maybe an older brother?

There is a bit of time between Ace waking up and Luffy finding him.
