SYNTREST'S TRUE FORM!! <33

(This is what I drew the sunset for :0)

So this is Syntrest's true form redesign! I know, it's a LITTLE bland, but at the same time, were most of the true forms of canon af2 characters and the old design of Syntrest any form of creative? No, not really.

I added the angel wings because being the point of dreams, I wanted their true form to have something that would be peaceful or calming, and the first thing that came up were angels, so I drew them wings, I didn't change their clothing because obviously clothing is not part of their skin and wouldn't transform with them.

All I did was draw some wings, swap the gradient, change the symbol and make the halo a little different, but it's definitely an improvement comparing to the old design ^^;

(I think this is the first time I've drawn angel wings.. I like it (⁠◡⁠ ⁠ω⁠ ⁠◡⁠) )

(I couldn't draw the glow behind Syntrest as well as everything else- T-T)

This came up in my mind, and it's been fixated ever since, I call it CrescentDreams ^^ (I also came up with Syntrest x Compale, which I named SnowySlumber *coughs in multishipper*)

I wanted them to fit in better with their aspect of "dreams" and I figured their old design was a little bland, and also saying that their colour scheme was literally nothing but shades of blue, so I decided to redesign them and try to add other colours into their design. (I'd show the old design of Syntrest but I absolutely DESPISE my old style and some of my art so-)

I'm going to be redesigning literally all my ocs or at least most of them, I'm probably gonna die on the way- /j

She often worries a lot about the safety of other people. She's not exactly great at fighting, but she is a good mama bear to almost anyone and everyone and she will protect them at all costs.

Yeah, her clothes and design were really... Bland. (And the old artstyle is bothering me so much help-) so I changed it (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

The reason why her old clothes was so bland in the first place, was because I wanted to base her outfit on a nurse's outfit, because she's the point of healing. But it was hard to find a nurse's outfit that was ACTUALLY NORMAL and not.. weird. (I gave up at the end and gave her something bland TvT)

I might aswell touch up on Satilia! I've barely mentioned them. Maybe I'll mention their pre-point life first.

Heres a uh... Traditional drawing. Isn't the best, not like I said I was a good artist anyways. So, in short, pre-point Satilia was an athletic and outgoing person. She was an explorer if you will. When she first found out that the stars went out of the sky (In AF1, yes Satilia is OLD), she decided to help out. She only found five before Cyalm fucked her up. Because that wasn't in the narrative. Haha. She particularly enjoys playing Basketball. I don't typically draw like that... I tried to go for a more canonical design. So yeah. Lore. Presto.

You've seen pre-point Satilia. I might aswell bring actual Satilia out!

I actually managed to draw something. I'm pretty proud of it! Artblock and all does suck so yeah... Anyways! Lore. Lore. We all want lore.

Satilia had two iterations. One without memories whatsoever. You could consider them an experiment almost, seeing how Cyalm was still working with making the narrative. Stratosfear was just a puppet, but Cyalm wanted a point with actual personality! So he tested with Satilia, and decided that this first iteration was completely bland. So, he reworked Satilia and gave them few memories. This did give them a personality, though made them the equivalent of an extremely nervous and shy teenager. Either way, it worked, and Cyalm cooked. Yaddah, yaddah, yaddah. The purple telescope with planet and star stickers is basically the only thing Satilia remembers of their past. They like it. As the story progresses, they form more confidence in themselves and begin to involve themselves with the 2SS more. They find five fragments of a star, referencing their previous treks to find stars before they were pointified. Those five shards resulted in the manifestation of a Star! Satilia's bad with names, so the Star is simply called Starry. That event almost helped them to shatter. It's unfortunate that it didn't happen.

Forgive my yapping! They're simply a Point of Natural Satilites, or to better say it, Anshine with more variety. Them and Anshine do both come from Maytown, so they're practically almost the same age, in terms of Points and all. So yeah! Lore. I like just going on a tangent about my own characters. Maybe I'll start mentioning some fun facts about them in a next post.

I felt the old design was a little bland so I went and gave them a completely needed redesign ;-;

I figured the old symbol was a LITTLE too similar to Anshine's (since I'm not comfortable with showing old drawings, Galaxar's old symbol was basically Anshine's symbol, but purple I think with a halo, I know, very bland :') ) and I also knew that it's not just stars that can represent space. Comets, planets, etc. And again, I wanted to introduce more colours into their overall design.

By the way, here's the un-rendered version so you can look at the direct colours ^^
