hi el! Apologies in advance for the word wall
For the anon asking about bullet journaling I’ve been doing it for about 4 years and would love to offer advice! TikTok and YouTube are great places to find inspo but I also love Instagram. bookstaandbujo, alltheradreads, and adhdfilmjournal are some accounts that do a great job of showing spreads and techniques ranging from minimalist to intricate. if you’d like something a little more formal paper source offers a virtual class (it does cost money) that walks you through basic techniques and gives you ideas for how to get started.
my biggest advice is to not spend a ton of money on it, especially if you just want to make one journal. you can find affordable notebooks/journals at target or Michaels (no need to drop $30 though there is no shame if you want to do that) and if you want to get some fun pens/markers you can often by singles instead of a full pack. Lots of craft stores (or Etsy!) have fun add ins like printed paper or washi tape that you can pick up for a few dollars as well). If you want something harry related, print your own pics for free in the Shutterfly app or through a printer, or pick up some stickers on Redbubble.
Last bit of advice…don’t let all the Insta-worthy spreads mess with your head. When I first started journaling I was always scared that i would make a mistake and when I eventually made something I’d get upset when it wasn’t as “good” as what I saw online. This is supposed to be about having fun so just do what makes you happy! And have fun with your harry journal!!!! ☺️
ahhhh! you're a legend!!!! <3 <3 this is great advice!
