it’s so sad when you play a game that’s earlier in a series after playing a later entry & it’s a little worse… like it’s not the game’s fault that later titles built on and improved its mechanics.
#specifically this is about kirby triple deluxe…… i just finished it earlier (i was playing it b/c it’s the only rtdl to star allies era#title i hadn’t played yet) & while it was fun on its own merits#i still kept thinking ‘it would be nice if this was robobot… i wish i was playing robobot…’#…so i think i’m going to replay robobot now lmao#ALSO it was suprising… i have seen people say 10billion things about taranza literally since the days of miiverse#so i thought he would like. talk before boss fights like susie.#and then he only has like 10 lines of dialogue at the end of the game……#…which is actually pretty normal for kirby games#to only explain the plot at the very end#i’m just used to. well every other rtdl era game having dialogue during the game#but i totally thought he would talk more. it’s impressive that people have gleaned so much from so little dialogue (+ pause screens)…?#fiftytenpost#kirby
