I don't get what Stephen Amell is going on with about supporting his union but not supporting the strike. Like does he think writers and his fellow actors are out there on the picket lines because it's fun??? No they'd also love to be working on their projects too but there are important issues that need to be addressed (like AI and fair compensation). Furthermore, WGA and SAG-AFTRA were trying to avoid these strikes but AMPTP was not negotiating in good faith and now are refusing to come back to the table. The strike is solely due to the greed and power tripping of studio and streaming execs. This strike could end today if those execs just gave up a very tiny slice of the pie
exactly. he sounds so damn stupid and now because he’s a dumbass and is going around promoting some new project of his, his career is just going down the toilet anyways. like you said, the strikes aren’t just for fun, and i wonder if he wasn’t previously on arrow and was just starting out as an actor, if he would have a different opinion.
