I agree with pretty much everything you said! Good take on Lilith! I have seen people want Lucifer and Lilith to still be quite close and all, but I think having them part ways and having Lilith actually dislike Lucifer for what he thinks of humanity is interesting and fits with what we know about her. Lilith is someone who is fiercely independent and wouldn't fold to anyone, especially a man. Hell, that's WHY Lucifer fell in love with her. I think it would be a good conflict and development for both Lucifer and Lilith. It has been said that Lilith "wore the pants" in their relationship, and that Lilith was the one actually running everything in Hell. I think it would be interesting to put a DECADES long marriage to the test, because I don't doubt Lucifer and Lilith aren't in love but it's stated that Lilith sang songs of rebellion to her people, sinners. I don't think she would take so kindly to Lucifer deeming them as all bad people. Because Lilith could have to be lumped into that category. She's the first ever sinner. It has been said that they are cheesy lovers and are like Mortica and Gomez. They CAN still be like that, but. I'd argue Lilith is in the right here. (Although, I'm not sure if she did on purpose separate them. With the whole Eve and Lilith switcharoo theory going around, even then I wouldn't really think that's a good idea. It just made Lucifer even more depressed). I love the Gomez and Mortica dynamic as much as anyone, but this is really interesting to me. I'm tired of everyone not talking of Lilith's trauma. Lilith was separated from the rest of her kind, into the depths of Hell will only her lover (and embodiment of sins) to keep her company. She was just a human facing up against godly beings, and never had the chance to reconnect with humanity accept for the sinners. They're all they have left of humanity. Anyway, stan Lilith-

Right, I think instead of them simply being a Gomez-Morticia copy, adding complexity to their relationship makes for a better dynamic. Of course they loved each other, at least at one point. But their views of Sinners definitely clashed along the way. With Lucifer being ashamed at what they've caused in humanity and Lilith reveling in it, there was bound to be conflict between them at some point.

We also have to account for how long they've been together. Lucifer implies that Hell has existed for around 10,000 years so we can assume they were together for all that time. Until Charlie, it was just the two of them. It's easy to see how their relationship could have soured in some aspects.

I've never heard of the Eve Lilith switch theory, I'll have to look into it.

You bring up a great point about Lilith's trauma. Her love for the demons in Hell probably comes from feeling a kinship with them. However horrible they are, they're the only connection to humanity she has

I just adore the idea of Ellis wearing an outfit inspired by the Jackie Kennedy Pink suit! It literally fits her so much! The gentlemen who prefer blondes dress for Chizuko fits her so much as well! I definitely tried to look for outfits that were worn by actresses during the 1930s to 60s since that's where Victoria's idol aesthetic is(Since Lana Del Rey's aesthetic is often described as "vintage" or "old Hollywood")

Fun fact, actually: I was originally going to give Juvia the iconic pink outfit from the sitcom "I dream of Jeannie" from 1965, but after looking up some looks from Audrey Hepburn, I chose the regency styled dress from "War and peace" instead ^^

I know Carol also does a bit of fanservice, but I also believe she and Mayuu would want to be comfortable without wearing anything too revealing 🤔 So I chose Mary Tyler Moore from the Dick Van Dyke show and Elizabeth Montgomery from 'Bewitched'

I was watching the original Addams family sitcom since it took place in 1964. And when I saw Carolyn Jones and John Astin in their respective costumes? I knew I had to give Victoria and Aguri those kind of outfits.

The boys who weren't Aguri were a bit of a challenge, since most men in the 30s to 60s would mostly wear suits. Especially in sitcoms like Bewitched. So unfortunately I had to give them suits, but were similar to the patterning and sewing techniques in the 60s.

Another fun fact: I was planning to make Carol and/or Ellis wear a replica of Yvonne De Carlo's costume when she was playing Lily Munster in 'The Munsters'.

Modern! Couples Costumes with the Blinder men

Arthur- Khal Drogo and Khalessi

At first, Arthur wanted nothing to do with what he deemed a terrible show but when he started watching he became obsessed, addicted to a drug that he could only get Sunday nights. Although he was always more of a Stark (self-proclaimed) he decided he wanted to be Khal Drogo for Halloween and the only thing fitting was for you to be his queen. Finding the most accurate costumes until he was basically buying props for the HBO set, Arthur was a total stan, wanting to be the toughest, most powerful man in the family, if only for a night. Who were you to turn him down, not to mention how excited you were to see him with minimal clothing and car eyeliner on.

Tommy - Gomez and Mortica adamms

Tommy didn’t like holidays; period. He thought celebrations were a waste of time, and Halloween was one of the worst offenders in his book, to the point he refused to dress up, decorate with pumpkins and ghouls, and give our candy who greedy little kids who didn’t do anything to earn it. He only agreed to do a couples costume with you after ten years of constant begging (and because you couldn’t go to John’s Halloween monster bash not in costume, or risk being where’d in front of the family). His condition was that he had to already have everything needed for the costume, and besides a mustache, which was improvised with some make-up, the lovable odd-balls were the easiest. And you got to buy a new black gown.

John - Bob and Linda Belcher

It was John’s idea not only to throw the biggest Halloween part of the year, but to go as I’m a couples costume. You loved the idea but it was a real battle to finally agree on something. You thought peanut butter and jelly was funny, being a plug and an outlet (John’s pick) was not going to cut it for you. It was a month of constant bickering over a costume, him vetoing your idea to be an angle and a devil because it was too boring, you vetoing his sexy nun and priest option. You finally landed on Linda and Bob Blecher, a happy medium, and the kids could even be a part of it. There were only a handful of people who even knew who you two were.

Finn - Peter Pan and tinkerbell

Finn was always a lovesick puppy dog and he’d do anything to make you smile. He agreed to a couples costume for his brothers party easily, not caring if his brothers would make fun of him for doing it (he expected to be greeted with whipping nosies, but still to everyone’s surprise they were all one sort of a couples costume.) Finn didn’t have any objections to costumes, really he was willing to wear whatever you put him on, feathered hat and all. And he certainly wasn’t going to object to the green tights when he saw you in the short green dress and fairy wings.

Your couples costume all came down to a game of pong. As the president of the biggest fear on campus and his equally powerful sorority girl girlfriend, the debate of your couples costume seemed like the debate of a century. You were arguing about it at a couple parties before Halloween and settled it with a game of pong; if he won he chose what you were both wearing and vice versa. That’s why you were in a bunny costume with ears and fishnet tights and he wore a silk robe and sailor hat. Hugh Hefner and his playboy bunny, he really couldn’t be more imaginative? When it came to the family Halloween party though you got to wear your idea, Sandy and Danny from Grease.

Alfie- Jim and Pam

Alfie finally agreed to a couples costume just so he could shut you up. You were persistent about it and although he dislike Halloween, he agreed to do it with you this one time if you never asked him to do it again. It was a fair deal for you in the end, finding it rather comical as he stood in the corner dressed up and miserable. You were Jim and Pam, ironic, classic, and easy enough to make it seem like he didn’t put any extra thought or effort into it. There was something so funny about him holding a mug wearing the shirt that looked like paper. He played the part of miserable office employ surprisingly well.

2. Any Halloween traditions

My Halloween traditions went out the window after having kids lol. It's hard when they are really little. We can do movies now (I do as many age appropriate as available, I used to watch one everyday of October), and started doing caramel apples last year (finally!!!), I can't really think of anything else I've done with them yet that will be a tradition. I've tried to get a little craft in each year that I can put up to decorate. I will have to add a few more things this year since there won't be trick or treating. And I do have a plan to solve that too.

We're actually getting married this year :) it's going to be a very Addams Family themed wedding, with maybe a touch of Disney. The dress I'm planning on getting is only $50 too which is great because it'll keep costs down.
