HI In love with the little ways Susie looks after him like…you KNOW she’s asked the same exact question before and got a very different response. She senses Lancer knows what it’s like too bc even though he doesn’t really talk about it, he wouldn’t have asked that question if he didn’t have a reasonable expectation for her to drop him if he was.
He’s literally so scared to lose her friendship and in within the minute she reassures him that, “dude, it’s all good, you have nothing to be sorry for” when he’s been made to feel sorry for literally existing by everyone for so long I-
#Susie too probably#i love their friendship she is his older sister#that puts jolly ranchers on his bullies’ cars and eggs their houses to defend his honor#i know they don’t talk about a whole lot#but they’re both really good at picking up “the vibe”#bc it’s a survival tactic so they both recognize the other’s mannerisms and behaviors#and while lancer looks at Susie as a role model that he can envision himself growing into bc she acts just like him but ‘cooler’#ie ‘less weak’ as if he’s supposed to be faulted for being a young child#Susie looks at Lancer as a naive version of her past self and tries to mitigate his suffering the best she can#but it was destined to go awry bc she never really grew past her own suffering until Lancer causes her to see and care about#the damage she does voluntarily or involuntarily to those around her#ANYWAYS SHE PROTECC SHE ATTACK SHE GOT LANCERS BACK#i love them sm 😭😭#deltarune#lancer#susie deltarune#ch1 is REALLY good guys#oh my boy indeed
