HI In love with the little ways Susie looks after him like…you KNOW she’s asked the same exact question before and got a very different response. She senses Lancer knows what it’s like too bc even though he doesn’t really talk about it, he wouldn’t have asked that question if he didn’t have a reasonable expectation for her to drop him if he was.

He’s literally so scared to lose her friendship and in within the minute she reassures him that, “dude, it’s all good, you have nothing to be sorry for” when he’s been made to feel sorry for literally existing by everyone for so long I-

#Susie too probably #i love their friendship she is his older sister #that puts jolly ranchers on his bullies’ cars and eggs their houses to defend his honor #i know they don’t talk about a whole lot #but they’re both really good at picking up “the vibe”#bc it’s a survival tactic so they both recognize the other’s mannerisms and behaviors #and while lancer looks at Susie as a role model that he can envision himself growing into bc she acts just like him but ‘cooler’#ie ‘less weak’ as if he’s supposed to be faulted for being a young child #Susie looks at Lancer as a naive version of her past self and tries to mitigate his suffering the best she can #but it was destined to go awry bc she never really grew past her own suffering until Lancer causes her to see and care about #the damage she does voluntarily or involuntarily to those around her #ANYWAYS SHE PROTECC SHE ATTACK SHE GOT LANCERS BACK #i love them sm 😭😭#deltarune #lancer #susie deltarune #ch1 is REALLY good guys #oh my boy indeed

i love toriel so much in both undertale and deltarune though she has her flaws and she isn't great at communication or taking care of herself she is trying SO hard and she does everything out of care for others. she left the throne to protect other humans that fell down she fought frisk because she was scared for them she came back to save frisk from asgore because she realized she couldn't let them kill him even after everything he'd done. her compassion and strong sense of right and wrong is CENTRAL to her character and if you genuinely believe she's as bad as or worse than asgore then uhhh. i mean i'm not gonna tell you not to interact but like keep that shit to yourself💙

#replayed chapter 2 last night and man!! man!#she knows susie's reputation and she probably knows she's a bully #BUT SHE DOESN'T ACT COLD TO HER LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!#SHE INVITES HER IN TO MAKE PIE WITH HER AND THEN SHE INVITES HER TO STAY OVER #BECAUSE SHE SAW SOMEONE PROWLING AROUND OUTSIDE AND WORRIES ABOUT SUSIE'S SAFETY #IF SHE GOES HOME ALONE IN THE DARK!#SHE DOESN'T EVEN SEEM TO CARE WHAT SHE'S HEARD ABOUT SUSIE!#ALL SHE SAYS TO KRIS IS 'leave the chalk alone!' WITH A GIGGLE #BECAUSE SHE SEES THAT KRIS TRUSTS HER! AND THAT SHE'S THEIR FRIEND!#AND SHE TRUSTS KRIS' JUDGMENT! SHE TREATS THEIR FRIENDS WELL #BECAUSE SHE'S GENUINELY HAPPY THAT THEY'RE FINALLY CONNECTING WITH KIDS THEIR AGE #AND SO SHE GIVES SUSIE A CHANCE AND DOESN'T JUDGE HER AT ALL #AND SHE FINDS SHE LIKES SUSIE VERY MUCH! THEY MAKE PUNS TOGETHER.
