ok so i’m seeing a lotta angsty tdb headcanons going around (don’t get me wrong i LOVE them and theyre all literally sosoSO good) but i wanna lighten the mood a bit so im just gonna share some silly/lighthearted hcs i have !! (in no particular order ofc)

- One night when Sho went to the campus store to look for some ingredients he ran into Kaito there, who was ALSO buying some cooking supplies! That’s how he learned that Kaito knows how to bake, and he’s been getting some really good recipes from him ever since! (no Kaito doesn’t know that Sho basically thought he was a cringe loser before 😭)

- Jin suffers from chronic migraines, and that’s the real reason he sound proofed his room, but no one else needs to know that. i mostly have this hc bc i also suffer fron migraines and i wanted to share my pain with one of the ghouls lmao

- Haku is actually really into fashion/styling, but not in the same way as Romeo or Leo are. he likes to go to thrift stores and buy vintage clothes, and he even has a finsta where he posts his outfits! it’s really lowkey and he keeps his face hidden, but he has a pretty decent following on it!

- Towa LOVES bamboo. it’s like one of his favorite plants to snack on! He’s asked Haru to get some for the park but 1) they don’t currently have any anomalous animals that need it and 2) importing bamboo stalks is expensive :(

- Jiro has been told countless times by multiple different people that he has a great voice for asmr. a part of him really wants to try it out, as it’d be another way to help people, but his workload is heavy and keeps him busy. he also thinks that Yuri would find it silly and disapprove of it, so he keeps this little dream to himself

- Sometimes, when Haru is busy with his indoor chores, he lets Peekaboo watch Bluey! And if he has free time he’ll watch it with them lol!! He’ll never admit it to anyone but he secretly looks up to Bandit pfft

- Ritsu has fidget spinners and other stim toys that he uses whenever he studies. it helps him stay focused and even keeps him from getting stressed out whenever he has to deal with his captain and vice captain lmao. he keeps this a secret though bc he thinks taiga and romeo would make fun of him for it (they wouldn’t)

- Tohma is actually allergic to cats! since he’s a ghoul, regular cats like the ones on campus don’t bother him, but any cat-like anomaly he’s ever dealt with has always left him sneezing and with watery irritated eyes lmaooo

- Alan once saw a Cinnamaroll keychain while he was out running errands one day and thought it was so insanely cute that he bought it. He was immediately embarrassed by it though and gave the keychain to some random kid. Cinnamaroll is now his favorite sanrio character.

- Despite living in Obscuary and being a literal Reaper, Rui can NOT handle scary movies. Especially if they’re really gorey. He’s more so disturbed that a regular human would come up with such dark and violent movies, and that there are people out there who are WILLING to watch it.

- Luca has a pet dog back home !! She’s an older German Shepherd with a bit of an attitude lol. She waits at the door for him (and his brother) everyday.

(also they have a very awkward carriage ride together. along with the unconscious body of valjean's future son-in-law. after valjean was in the parisian sewers and therefore covered in sewer water.)

kitties who were outcast from previous groups they were a part of and find and live with each other. they are canonical mates even though theyre both dudes. they grow old together, but ravenpaw gets cancer and dies before barley (he lives to be considered old in warrior cats years). however ravenpaw wanted to be in the same kitty afterlife that barley will go to, so they can be together in kitty afterlife. barley is still alive though as far as we know and might be the oldest living cat in the series now. also i just think its funny to call little kitty cats "old man yaoi"

for rita, i mostly had magilou in mind for design elements, as they are both casters. i think they play sort of different roles though lol. i also referenced her elemental master outfit, since thats rita's one look with a witch hat! we havent decided if grimoirh exists unedited in the au or if it ought to be someone else… but rita has trained under her/someone as a witch, so shes able to make pacts with malaks and use magic. shes also learned to decipher the ancient tongue (which means she could fill a similar role to grim in terms of like. Plot) and i think estelle is very eager to learn about it from her, and is good with coming up with alternate readings. they'd get to bounce ideas off of each other a little more than in vesperia canon, where estelle just kind of hangs out with rita like "idk what she's talking about but i like to sit with her :)" LOL

rita hates the abbey and would love to burn the whole thing down. shes very passionate about how they treat malaks, but i think sometimes her scientific mind gets ahead of her and she starts analyzing malaks instead of, like, talking to them. being around estelle helps with that. theyre socializing each other. like cats?

rita's not as open to daemons as estelle, because she knows the truth about malevolence, but she respects yuri enough because they share feelings about the abbey. she's very defensive though and quick to tell daemons and humans to "get [their] shit together" if they start to get malevolent.

i think i'll talk a little more about our rita ideas when i post judy, because theyre slightly intertwined.

More Metaos interactions (Metal Sonic x Chaos0 )

I like to think that when Chaos is more "solid" hes just very squishy, like jello and Metal likes to poke and prod him because the squishyness is so amusing to it. (If Chaos is annoyed he just puts his weight on Metal like those cats in funny videos who just sit on the other cats and turns them into a pillow cushion for a few minutes)

Also this is just a continuation of the top one, as i think Metal Sonic gives really quick, rapid "pecks on the cheek" juxtasposed to Chaos's more slower, big ol' wet smackers.

I had a scene in my fanfic, where they were dancing. I wanted to think of what they would wear, so i made some outifts for them.

Cant help the fact i cannot unsee Chaos as the yippie autism creature. Also metal sonic, by default, is autistic to me. No reason, it just is.

Btw, "Talon" is the nickname Chaos gave to Metal Sonic. It combines the "Tal" in "meTAL" and "on" in "sONic". Its because Metal Sonic reminds Chaos of a bird, and its hands are sharp like a bird's claws or "talons".

On a personal note, i dont like writing just "Metal" as metal sonic isnt just a peice of "metal" but nor is it just "Sonic". Metal Sonic is its name, because it is its own individual being. Thus, a shortend version would incoorperate both sides of its name, hence "Talon".

(Plus they hold hands a lot, so it makes sense Chaos would notice. Also, i doubt Chaos is incredibly familar with the innerworkings of robots or machines, so the closest comparision is a bird.)

(In that case, Chaos's nickname would probably be something cute. Though i haven't thought of one yet.)

(P.S. it meant eat as in literally eat. Consume. Devour. Dine on. Chew. Yknow, that kind. Thats why this is funny to me.)

(P.P.S. this is a continuation of my headcannon that chao (and by proxy, Chaos), "eat" the animal freinds and gain their abilities. In conclusion this games aesthetic is cool. Im still fixated on star rail though and unless this game releases a story arc equivalent to penacony i dont think ill love it as much tbh </3 everything and everyone feels so fanservicey (which is saying a lot for a hoyoverse game) and even the animation which is rly rly good has such nauseating jiggle physics 😭😭😭😭 but other than that its ok 👍 ill post zzz art later i think ok goodbye

keep thinking about the drunk being former guerrilla and getting away from it all after the death of most his group to the land of light just to be beaten and robbed… he keeps losing… they should add me to the game so i can kiss him

(before hyper trio start dating) drifter convincing the guardian to let him help out the drunk because he feels pretty bad about what happened and he’s tired of seeing his people stuck in crystals or floating unconsciously in strange liquid without being able to help them

eventually they get him to ease on the drinking and now the drunk’s got a tent and a sleeping bag because he didn’t like taking up the space in the home (there was three of them already)

altie didn’t really pay attention to him but he looks like the drifter so she started thinking he was a little cute. i think the guardian confesses to the drifter first, altie’s bummed out cause she likes the both of them, then without really talking about it they eventually just..,. sit close one day and just enjoy each others company. maybe guardian give kisses to the two occasionally and then later one they make it official.

altie would probably be the one crushing on the drunk first because she likes blue cat guys i guess. he gets dragged into it the more the spend time together and eventually finds himself in the middle of all them getting emotional something. i like to think they communicate a lot ,theyre scared of losing each other so they share as much as they can. the drunk’s not used to this so hes just there for a while until he opens up more
