My friend and I were talking about john doe last night and lowkey would wanna share this idea we had with you the awesome john doe person ^^ So like jane is wearing black clothing and hats, and seemingly killers as well died or could've died to get into forsaken.. Imagine jane is wearing that kind of clothing because it the clothing she wore to his funeral.. IDK IF U GAF ABOUT THIS, delete or keep in inbox if so..

Godddd and the grief still does not stop for Jane even when after she learns husband is technically alright hghvhrgfgrgrrr… as the camera proceeds to pan over to John impaling and ripping some poor survivor in half

Gwaaaa anddddd if we go into my personal takes on Jane and John. Like… turns out; he’s a little more than just alive since, with some help he’s mellowed down since his time in the realm and is now outwardly friendly and affectionate and even protective over most of the survivors now and especially her. He’s one of the first of the killers to break out of the limbo that they’re all sent back to after the rounds because of the survivors always “taming” him in the rounds to the point he just stopped one day/round pursuing altogether. He’s right there alongside Jane and always first to be at her side constantly when he can be. But, it doesn’t stop Jane from grieving for the man that once was before the corruption and The Spectre happened. She can’t help but sometimes think over how things could've been prevented. The shopkeeper in the shadows won’t forget as easily about herself and her past like everyone else has about her once she leaves (not that she minds. It was kinda the point when she deliberately started to tamper with her own code to force her own way into the realm. John and 007n7 seem to be some of the few who do recall her existence when she’s gone at least). Of course though she’ll continue to love and care for the man that is now.

You know what? You deserve to know what my brain is cooking with John Doe-Builderman angst

When John was corrupted, the other admins wanted to imprison him and sent him to the Banlands or worse, just wipe his existence. Of course, Builderman didnt want to ban the first friend and closest confidant. What does this man do? He goes along with it. Make the others think he was going to ban him, saying he'd make a personal prison just for him. This was technicaly a half-truth. Builderman did create a prison for John, but not in the Banlands. He found a forest nobody went to. Checked every area for the perfect spot, and placed John Doe there.

The area was peaceful. It had water, shade, and plenty of food. He made a cabin near the water just for John, and to top it off, he made a field where no one could enter or see, trapping John there.

For the next couple of weeks, Builderman would watch and study John and his corruption, just to find a cure for his friend. This brought him down a rabbit hole of different corruptions and corrupted code, until he found a particularly strange code. Next thing he knew, he was in a lone cabin in an eery world. Forsaken by all.

Not sure if your Builderman ever did, but did he ever tell Jane the truth about that “prison”? Did they ever even talk as much to each other at all ever since the incident? Would be a wee bit fucked if he never did tell Jane he actually had been keeping John secluded in an actually pretty safe isolated area this whole time after the incident, but never told her he’s actually okay even if corrupted and that he’s been trying to actively work on studying and helping him, and it would be pretty fucked too if she learned about this like wayyy after in the realm

Imagining different times where the others would ask Builderman about John’s imprisonment and where did he put him and Builderman trying to just shrug it off like “oh, yeah, his imprisonment uhh yeah he’s definitely paying for what he did that’s for sure”
