Instead of Luke going to Storms End Rheanyras only daughter goes. Her and Aemond were close as children. She was the one who sent him sapphires for his eye. Both still love each other, and upon the news of Aemond agreeing to marry one of Borros daughter, she gets angry and offers herself to Borros, with the prospect of having a son of his own.
Of course Aemond will not let that happen. So what does he do. Chases her down in the court yard and fucks her. She's his, she has always belonged to him amd he will not let some illiterate fat lord take her from him.
Tumblr media
You remembered everything so vividly, sometimes you believed it was a curse rather than the blessing that your mother and stepfather believed it was.
The moment you had offered to go instead of Luke, to spare him from danger, you felt the dread sink to the bottom of your stomach.
"Swear to me, to the gods. That you will go as a messenger, not a warrior." Your mother had pleaded, her warm hands on your cheeks with a look of desperation in her eyes. "Promise me."
"I promise, mother."
You had never forgotten that night, the night where Aemond had lost his eye. You had remembered his insults towards your brothers, how you had sobbed at the sight of him. Aemond, who had always kept you company and let you braid flowers into his hair so you could learn how to do it on yourself. Aemond, who had defended you to his mother. Aemond, who you had always loved.
"Hey, boy." You ran your hand over the scales of your dragon, Achyls. He was as old as Vhagar, one of the oldest dragons.
His bright red eyes stared down at you before snorting and leaning his head down.
"I know, you're so tired but we need to make a trip. Think you can do that for me?" You asked softly, leaning your forehead against his neck.
That had led to this. Aemond had gotten there before you did, you heart fluttered at the sight of him and you hated yourself for it.
"Which one of my daughters will your brothers marry." Borros demanded as Aemond's eye remained trained on her.
"My brothers are betrothed or babes still." Your eyes met Aemond's before you stood straighter. Your heart hurt from the news that Aemond would marry one of his daughters. "I will marry you and give you a son instead."
Aemond faltered at your statement and anger filled him. Aemond had always been capable of great anger, great cruelty, to all except you. He had loved you all his life, craved to marry you. He would not let this stand.
"You may return, I will decide soon." Borros announced and you didn't hesitate to turn away, away from Aemond, only angering him further.
He followed you out in quick steps as you approached Achlys who was chirping happily at Vhagar who looked equally happy. Their original riders had also been in love, you remembered.
"What was that?" Aemond had demanded once he reached you. "To offer yourself, are you stupid? You must be."
You turned and glared at him with forced hatred in your eyes. "As opposed to you marrying one of his daughters? The stupid one is not me."
"If you're so determined, I'll have to ruin such opportunities." Aemond hisses, his hair soaking as he started to rip your riding gear off with such force.
"Let go of me, Aemond! You have no say in any of my choices." You hissed, you nails scratching into his neck.
"That's where you're wrong, sweetness. You've been mine since the day you were born. I have been patient and kind but no more. I will take what is mine." Aemond's words were harsh as he pushed you to the ground.
His fingers brushed up against the most sensitive part of you, as his other hand hurried to undo the strings of his breeches. "I'll just have to claim you to let everyone else know."
"Aemond, stop this. You cannot do this."
He laughed, raspy and hysterical. "Cannot?" He asked, his hand finishing pulling his breeches down and he crouched down, graping your jaw. "You are mine, I can do whatever I want with you. I will give you a child after this. Solidify my claim on you."
That should not have made you throb but it did, wetness dripped down and he chuckled. "You say no but you're dripping for me. Admit your desires, you want me."
"I do not." You turned your head away as much as you could before he tugged you back before removing his hand to guide his cock inside you.
"You do, don't deny your desires." He tsked before sliding slowly inside of you. "Shit."
You were so tight around him, a real joy.
"Aemond." The cry that escaped you was filthy, and loud. Aemond felt victorious. You were his, there was no way you wouldn't be his wife. He had loved you since he knew what love was and he'd be damned if anyone took you from him.
He would burn this world to the ground before he allowed that to happen.

Analyzing Nani's Animatic (Cozy SMP)
I know I already made this post on twitter, but I thought I could do a silly and post it for my Tumblr peeps as well! This is in reference to @nanny-nani animatic about her character's, Aster, lore: https://youtu.be/yNIxddAkx0w

Before we start, here are some warnings!

TW: child death, child neglect, sacrifice/ritual things, religious stuff, and spoilers for aster's lore, and possibly more

OKAY SO WE START OFF WITH THIS SHOT
Tumblr media

So for some context on Aster's lore, she was a part of a very successful village that was blessed by the gods, particularly by the Nether God, Atius. The reason behind this is that the people of this town do sacrifices every decade, in order to be in favour of Atius. There's a pattern to this, one decade they would sacrifice an animal, and the next they would sacrifice a child.

Yeah, very unethical and fucked up, I know

For the child sacrifices there's a fortune teller, a woman that decides who is chosen for the deed. Essentially, the children that are picked are rumoured to be the "downfall" of the village, so these children are sacrificed to get rid of that possibility. During this time, Aster was the child rumoured to cause the downfall of this village, following tradition, she would be the sacrifice for the upcoming ritual in a few years or so!

Atius has never directly or personally gone to the village. He has no reason to, he's busy, he has better things to attend to. After all, he is the God of the Nether. But something calls for him one day. Wanting to get it over with, he approaches the area, but finds a small child with purple hair off in the woods by herself.

He finds himself absolutely adoring her, especially when the child herself is not at all bothered or scared of him. We get a begrudging, slow burn, adoption thing happen between. She is the first human he has ever cared for, and he loved her. She was his light, his pride and joy, and he would do anything to make her happy. Years go by, they're happy, they've grown very close, it's very sweet.

One day, he's unable to find her at their usual spot, and he's worried, but isn't really that bothered. Coincidentally, there's a village nearby that was doing a sacrifice in his name, so he decides to pay it a visit whilst waiting for his child.

Only to find that his child is the sacrifice!

Yeah, that doesn't end well for the village obviously, and he's stricken by grief and anger. So, so much anger.

This explanation ends now, keep it in mind as we continue with the analysis of the clip itself, which shows Aster at the altar about to succumb to her death. Despite knowing about it, waiting for years for her fate to arrive, she finds that she is not actually ready for it.
Tumblr media

She doesn't want to die. Aster finally, finally has someone in this god forsaken world who cares about her, who pays positive attention to her, who loves her in a way her own parents couldn't, only to have it all end in a manner she never truly wanted to in the first place. Without even having the chance to say goodbye to her papa.
Tumblr media

At the end of this clip, we see a shadowy figure hovering in front of her. I'm not quite sure what it is, but it might be the nightmares taunting her, or it might be the fortune teller (Achyls) kinda fucked up silly side. I don't know, but what I do know is that Aster (who gets revived later, keep this in mind it's important), experiences regular nightmares, which we'll explore in soon
Tumblr media

If you remember, I mentioned there being a fortune teller (Achyls) who 'decides on' which children will be sacrificed every time. This fortune teller is a half warden, which means all of the souls of the previously sacrificed children go straight to her heart
Tumblr media Tumblr media
TLDR: She feasts on the souls of the children who have been sacrificed! And in the clip, Aster goes to the space inside the Achyls' heart, and meets all the other sacrificed children.
Tumblr media
Yeah, not very pleasant for a long, long while

Tumblr media

Once again, there's the smiling, shadowy figure. Again, I'm still unsure whether this is her nightmares, or something to do with Achyls, but we do delve into the nightmare stuff in the next part
We're in a dark space here, and this implies we are in one of Aster's nightmare. We'll talk about it in a second.
Tumblr media

Before that, we need to discuss Aster's revival.

After his child's death, Atius is inconsolable. For centuries, his wrath has seemingly increased, taking out his anger and grief on the people of this world. It doesn't work too well. Despite all that he has caused, he finds himself still missing his child, and so he seeks out another God, and does something he has never done before

He begs, pleading, to this God, for them to bring back his daughter.

Full deaths, in this world, are final. There is no way for someone to revive a person, especially someone who was sacrificed. All the gods have no hand in this, they are powerful, but life and death matter like this is out of their hands, except for the God Atius seeks help from.

He receives a no, for a long, long while, but the Nether God is persistent. Until finally, the God agrees, but with a condition.
Aster can be brought back into this world and live as an immortal, but once she finds true happiness, once she is content with her life, she will be returned to death, this time with no more second chances.
It's cruel.

To subject his own child to a life with nothing but misery is cruel, but Atius is selfish, and he's drowning in grief and longing and, selfishly, agrees to this. With that she's brought back, and at first she's happy, she's able to see her dad, but..
He doesn't have anymore time for her. He doesn't let her braid his hair, he doesn't give her little personal gifts, he doesn't smile warmly at her, he doesn't look at her in that soft but loving way reserved only for her anymore, he's barely even there. He's always busy, busy, busy, and she's confused and she's sad and she's-

She's handed off to another family to look after her.

During this time, Aster experiences regular nightmares. Recurring, repeating nightmares in a dark, cramped and suffocating space, with the souls of the dead children surrounding her.
Tumblr media

She falls inside a hole, back awake, back where it's filled with nothing but confusion, pain, and misery and she just wants to be happy. She wants to be safe. She wants to be loved. She wants answers. She wants help and she doesn't understand, she doesn't understand anything

So she reaches out. She reaches out for answers. Answers for a question that she doesn't even know. She reaches out to anyone, everyone, begging and pleading for help from those around her, just as she had begged for their town leader to spare her, to give her another chance-

She calls out for Confetti, for Clover, for Achyls, for Lee, for Marie, for Marisol, for Jewelz, for Q, for Alto, for Princey, for August, for Sukey, for Toby, and finally for Atius.
She calls out to anyone, the people she considers family to look at her and help her
understand.

In the end, no one does. At least, not yet. And she's left in her confusion, her pain, and
ultimately, by herself.

Final clip before the animatic ends, we see the knife, most likely the one used to kill her during the sacrifice.
And then we see two people who were most likely her biological parents who gave her up for the town's sacrifice.
Then we see a hand, bloodied, and laid out on its own. Most likely Aster's hand.
Finally, it ends with papers, with the title being "A Guide". A lore book written by Nani on the Cozy SMP, detailing a fairly brutal step-by-step guide that helps the parents of the chosen children sacrifice agree to give up their children for the 'greater good of the village'.
All in all, fucked up story with so much tragedy in it, beautifully showcased through Nani's animatic. I adore her character and her story, and I absolutely adored the animatic as well. Go watch it, 1000/10
Ending notes: Funny how the village holds a tradition where they sacrifice a child so that they wouldn't be the cause of their downfall, ended up actually causing their downfall
Now I simply wonder, how will Aster's story continue from here? :)

Blurb from the climax of the first arc because I have the brain rot
Izuku leaned back in his chair, eyes vaugely looking down to his worksheet. He wondered how frequently normal kids had to do worksheets. Certainly they weren't changing too much of the curriculum if they wanted smart superhumans.
Suddenly Dr. Blah blah whoever the fuck put a phone to her ear, suddenly contorting her face in an emotion Izuku couldn't read.
"Everyone to your bunks. Stay there." The Dr. Warned them, opening the door to reveal a siren blaring louder than they could think. His fellow "students" single filedly walked down the hall, joining the line of other children.
He made an instantaneous effort to pick up Eri, the idea of abandoning her in what could be their next "mission" made him afraid. More afraid than he'd been in a while. If they came to punish them for being with eachother, Izuku would just accept the beating for both of them.
Suddenly, a voice came over the intercom. "Dear students of the Protogenoi program, we are sorry to say that this will be your last mission. Please stand by at your beds, and wait for death to come quietly." An explosion could be heard from above. Izuku covered Eri's ears tightly. "You will all die here. This is not a test. Do not panic. Do not try to escape. You will be found, and you will be killed." The transmission ended with a crackle.
Izuku watched gas begin pouring into the room, there was no fuss, there were no screams. His bunkmates simply waited for their death to come. Izuku dug out the two filter masks he'd swiped on his recent trip to the docks. Stealing from the HPSC was easier than you'd think.
"Okay, Eri-chan, stay still." Izuku said, cutting the panic out of his voice. He wrapped the mask around Eri's face, tightening it so nothing could leak in. He quickly did the same with his, and rushed out of the room.
Izuku sped down the hall, dodging officials and doctors, gas visible everywhere you looked. Izuku avoided looking at the beds of corpses, the beds of his friends and fellow victims. He curved to see Toya and Tenko. They'd both already strapped their masks on, though they pretended to be in the same state as the others. "Okay, let's go."
"Izuku-kun, what are you doing?" Izuku whipped around to face none other than Achyls. They also dawned the same face mask, though a much grimmer air lingered on them.
"Achyls..."
Ohhhhh 👀👀👀
This is very intriguing-

with their mother being the goddess of misery,    sadness and death-mist,   the children of achyls tend to have a darker outlook on life and the events of the world.   they are typically favoured with nocturnal animals such as bats,  raccoons,  and ocelots.   they are strong empaths and can communicate with the dead;   they are often called mediums by mortals.   due to the negative effects of their powers,   they usually end up working alone.   the children of achyls stay in the hermes cabin due to their mother not yet having a cabin.
to summarise,   the children of achyls have the following skills…
PASSIVE
mediumship:   the children of achyls are able to communicate with the dead.
night vision:   the children of achyls are able to see clearly during the night.
mist of death:   the children of achyls,   like the children of hades,   are able to sense when somebody has recently died by a buzzing in their ears.   if they can locate a body,   it will be surrounded by a pink mist.
OFFENSIVE
poison knowledge:   the children of achyls are naturally knowledgeable on poisons and what to use to create them.   as such,   they often make friends or acquaintances with children of demeter due to their common knowledge of plant life.
pathokinesis:   if a child of achlys is feeling sad,   then those around them can feel it as well.   they can make motivation amongst enemies decrease.
DEFENSIVE
poison resistance:   due to their mother’s connections to poisons,   the children of achyls have a higher resistance to strong poisons,   though they are not completely immune.
