A lot of the fun of making stories is shamelessly ripping off as many IPs as possible without making it seem too obvious
#I'm watching mlp again and I'm sneaking bits and pieces of it into my writing#Some of it has been in my writing long before I started the rewatch#Achlys living with his godmothers was directly inspired by scootaloo#I'm also inspired by fluttercord#I'm not 100% keen on the ship but I do adore the idea of an ancient scary cosmic power being absolutely smitten with a sweet n kind mortal#They do this in ponyo too and I adore it 🥰#I'm planning on copying most of the story beats from the new year's festival arc from Mairuma too lol#It just fits#Also FMA. everyone talks about "oh what if Percy could bloodbend" but I think there is woeful little discussion about other potentially fucked up big 3 kid powers:
I mean it's already canonical Hades/Pluto kids can just. straight up kill you. Like literally Nico can just tap people on the shoulder and they get Thanos Snapped. Totally fucking dusted. Sometimes bones are left and he just starts controlling that but that seems to be optional. He does it like three times in Tower of Nero.
Not to mention Nico also being able to just rip people's souls out of their still living bodies. Is that a Ghost King thing or a Hades kid thing or a combo from both? Who knows.
All the different ways Big 3 kids can make somebody just. Explode. Zeus* kids can just build up air pressure, Poseidon kids can build up water/blood pressure, and Hades kids can just make your bones splinter and shoot out.
I don't think Zeus kids would be able to mind-control people by controlling electrical impulses BUT they could just send several thousand volts directly through you via touch so like. That's not great.
Bloodbending for Poseidon kids is obvious but Hades kids have SO many options to potentially control people. Puppet their bones? Control their actual literal soul? If you go the route of "shadows are connected to the person" then dragging somebody around by their shadow? Or given that Hades kids are heavily implied to just have nearly all abilities ghosts are said to, there's a decent chance they could Just Straight Up Possess You.
Poseidon kids can control blood (and actually exemplified in canon - seemingly just about any bodily fluid, as Percy makes Achlys start choking on her own tears/snot). They could also theoretically completely dehydrate you in an instant.
Zeus* kids meanwhile can. Make air bubbles in your blood or etc. Which is VERY bad for those of you who are unaware. Hades kids can probably just yoink all the metals out of your blood. Casually revokes your iron privileges. Poseidon kids are just yoinking your blood In General. Etc etc.
And then yknow, the casual natural disasters stuff. Zeus kids making tornados and hurricanes? Plus the aforementioned just throwing massive amounts of electricity around. Probably also able to make dust storms and stuff. Poseidon kids making hurricanes and floods and earthquakes? Or being able to create geysers just wherever they want? Hades kids also being able to make earthquakes or just shatter the ground or create giant ravines and etc. And, yknow, ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. And aforementioned insta-killing I guess. Bonus Hera kids probably being able to also do tornados and dust storms and etc, possibly moreso than Zeus kids.
*Zeus with an asterisk because wind/air powers actually seem to be more of an Hera/Juno thing and so exclusive to Jason and not Thalia, while Zeus/Jupiter seems to be just the storms/electricity.
#pjo#riordanverse#percy jackson#jason grace#thalia grace#nico di angelo#hazel levesque#< tagging all the (living* demigod) big 3 kids cause its relevant to them#*jason gets to count he survived at least one full series#godly parents

The masters of the games (Hwang In-Ho/Frontman x fem! reader)

Pairing: Hwang In-Ho/Frontman/Young-Il/player 001 x fem!reader
Summary: After winning the tournament of champions Achlys, a gentle yet resilient former champion, is drawn back into the madness not as a player but as the enigmatic Frontwoman. Opposite her stands Hwang In-Ho, the stoic and commanding Frontman, a man whose quiet demeanor masks an all-consuming obsession with her-a love born from years of watching her survive and thrive.
As they orchestrate the games' most horrifying iteration yet, tensions rise. The cruel demands of the VIPs-twice the contestants, thrice the bloodshed-clash with Achlys's compassion, while In-Ho's possessive devotion becomes increasingly evident. The two navigate their growing passion, tested by jealous VIPs vying for their attention and their roles as overseers of humanity's darkest instincts.
But in a world ruled by greed and violence, their connection becomes a dangerous rebellion-a bond so intense it threatens to eclipse the games themselves. As power, love, and obsession collide, Achlys and In-Ho must decide if their love can survive the games-or if it will become their greatest undoing.
grumpy x sunshine. Enemies to lovers. Friends to lovers.
Warnings (if any): Angst. In-Ho is obsessed with the Original f! Character. Afab character. Love triangle (kinda?). Violence and stuff like portrayed in the tv series Squid Games. Love in survival horror games.
MDNI although there’s no explicit smut this isn’t for y’all.
This is the second and last part of "Bound by the games" where Achlys and In-Ho become the leaders of the games and rule over that island together.
THAT SAID LET'S BEGIN!
The island was buzzing with activity as Achlys and In-Ho In-Ho stood side by side, overseeing the preparations for the anniversary games. The games this year were set to be grander, bloodier, and crueler than ever before—a direct demand from the VIPs. Achlys, now the new frontwoman, wore a flowing white gown that contrasted sharply with the geometric white mask that covered her face. Her ethereal appearance captivated everyone who laid eyes on her, including the VIPs who had begun arriving to observe the preparations.
In-Ho stood beside her, his gray suit tailored to perfection, his black mask exuding power and authority. Though he spoke little, his mere presence demanded respect. His eyes, however, rarely left Achlys, scanning her every movement with a mixture of admiration and possessiveness.
The VIPs had taken notice of her. Too much notice. And it was driving him insane.
"Frontwoman Achlys," one of the square guards addressed her with a bow, "the VIP quarters are ready."
"Thank you," she replied, her soft voice calm yet commanding. She turned to In-Ho, her eyes glinting with an emotion she rarely showed—excitement, perhaps, or nerves. "Everything's coming together."
In-Ho nodded, his gaze lingering on her for a moment too long. "It has to be perfect. They'll expect nothing less."
"And it will be," she said, placing a hand briefly on his arm. The simple touch sent a jolt through him, though he masked his reaction. "We've worked too hard to fail now."
His chest tightened. He couldn't ignore how effortlessly she seemed to command attention, how even her slightest actions stirred something primal within him. But he also couldn't ignore the way the male VIPs leered at her or the way they fawned over her during their brief interactions.
The evening of the VIP's grand arrival came quickly. Achlys stood at the entrance to their luxurious quarters, her gown glowing under the moonlight. The male VIPs approached her one by one, bowing or kissing her hand as they introduced themselves. In-Ho stood a few paces behind her, his fists clenched so tightly his knuckles turned white beneath his gloves.
One VIP in particular—a tall man with slicked-back hair and an air of arrogance—lingered too long. "You are a vision," he said, his English thick with a European accent. "Perhaps the true prize of these games is not the money but a moment in your presence."
Achlys forced a polite smile. "Your kind words are appreciated," she said, stepping back slightly.
The man wasn't deterred. "I hope to spend more time with you during my stay. Perhaps dinner?"
"She's busy," In-Ho interjected, his voice cold and firm as he stepped closer. His towering presence seemed to suck the air out of the room. The VIP gave a nervous chuckle before retreating, but the damage was done.
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
That night, Achlys sat alone in her quarters, the events of the day replaying in her mind. A knock at the door startled her. She stood, smoothing her gown before opening it to find In-Ho, still dressed in his suit, his mask tucked under his arm.
"May I come in?" he asked, his voice low.
"Of course," she said, stepping aside.
He entered, his gaze scanning the room before settling on her. "That VIP... he made you uncomfortable."
Achlys hesitated, then nodded. "He did. But I can handle it."
In-Ho's jaw tightened. "You shouldn't have to."
Silence fell between them, heavy with unspoken emotions. Finally, Achlys broke it. "You're always watching out for me, aren't you?"
His eyes softened. "Always."
"Why?" she whispered, stepping closer. "Why do you care so much?"
For a moment, he looked away, struggling to find the words. When he met her gaze again, his expression was raw, unguarded. "Because you're the only thing in this world that matters to me."
Achlys's breath hitched. "In-Ho..."
Before she could say more, he closed the distance between them, his lips capturing hers in a kiss that was both desperate and tender. She melted into him, her hands gripping his jacket as if afraid he might disappear. When they pulled apart, their foreheads rested together, their breaths mingling.
"I've wanted this for so long," he admitted, his voice trembling.
"Me too," she whispered, her cheeks flushed. "I just... I didn't know how to say it."
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
The anniversary games began with a spectacle that left the VIPs roaring with delight. The arena was larger, the challenges deadlier, and the stakes higher. Over 500 contestants had been gathered—three times the usual number. Greed and desperation hung thick in the air as the games progressed, each round more brutal than the last.
Achlys and In-Ho observed from their private balcony, their masks in place. The male VIP from before—Anton, as he had introduced himself—lingered near Achlys at every opportunity, his attention blatant and unnerving.
During one of the quieter evenings, Anton approached Achlys in the grand hall, a lavish gift box in hand.
"For you," he said, his voice dripping with charm. "A token of my admiration."
Achlys hesitated, glancing around for In-Ho, but he was nowhere in sight. Reluctantly, she accepted the box, opening it to reveal a stunning diamond necklace.
"It's beautiful," she said, her voice cautious. "But I can't accept this."
"Please," Anton insisted, stepping closer. "It would bring me great joy to see it on you."
Before Achlys could respond, a shadow loomed behind her. In-Ho appeared, his presence like a storm cloud. "She said no," he said, his voice dangerously low.
Anton raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. "And who are you to decide for her?"
"The one who protects her," In-Ho replied, his tone leaving no room for argument. "Stay away from her."
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
Later that night, Achlys found herself pacing in her quarters, the memory of Anton's advances fresh in her mind. But what unsettled her more was the sight of one of the female VIPs—the elegant and flirtatious Madame Ling—hovering around In-Ho during the day's events.
When In-Ho entered her quarters, she wasted no time. "Who was she?" she demanded.
In-Ho blinked, surprised. "Who?"
"The woman who couldn't keep her hands off you," she snapped, her jealousy flaring.
He smirked, stepping closer. "Are you jealous?"
"Yes," she admitted, her cheeks flushing. "I hate it."
He cupped her face, his touch gentle. "You have nothing to worry about. I don't see anyone but you."
Before she could respond, his lips claimed hers, the kiss filled with passion and promise. Achlys clung to him, her emotions spilling over as they lost themselves in each other.
The kiss deepened, their movements growing more frantic as the walls they'd built around themselves crumbled. In-Ho lifted her effortlessly, carrying her to the bed as his hands explored her curves. Achlys shivered under his touch, her own hands tangling in his hair as their clothes were discarded piece by piece.
"I need you," he murmured, his voice raw with desire. "I've always needed you."
"You have me," she whispered, her voice trembling.
Their bodies moved together, each touch and kiss a declaration of their unspoken love. For that night, the horrors of the games faded, leaving only the two of them and the connection they shared.
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ .
The anniversary games were in full swing, and the island had transformed into a sprawling arena of cruelty and chaos. Over the past two weeks, In-Ho In-Ho and Achlys, as frontman and frontwoman, had witnessed contestants battling not only for survival but for the favor of the VIPs. Each round was a calculated spectacle, designed to showcase the darkest corners of human greed and desperation.
The days stretched long with preparations and overseeing the events, but the nights... the nights were where the tension between Achlys and In-Ho simmered, threatening to boil over. They worked together flawlessly in public, their synchronized authority earning them the grudging respect of the VIPs. But behind closed doors, emotions ran wild—jealousy, desire, and unspoken confessions roiled between them.
The days grew more tense as Anton's interest in Achlys became bolder. His remarks shifted from subtle compliments to outright advances, his attempts to woo her bordering on obsession.
During a grand feast one evening, the VIPs were gathered in their private lounge overlooking the games. Achlys sat beside In-Ho, her white gown glowing under the golden lights. Across the table, Anton raised a glass to her.
"To the true star of these games," he said, his gaze locked on her. "Our radiant frontwoman, whose beauty could inspire wars."
The other VIPs chuckled, clinking their glasses, but In-Ho's grip on his own glass tightened to the point of cracking. Achlys forced a polite smile, her discomfort clear.
"Your praise is appreciated," she said diplomatically, glancing at In-Ho for support.
Anton wasn't deterred. "I mean it, my dear. Your presence here elevates these games to art. Perhaps you would allow me to gift you something worthy of your elegance?"
"She doesn't need anything from you," In-Ho said sharply, his voice cutting through the room. The VIPs turned, surprised by his rare outburst.
Anton raised an eyebrow, smirking. "I wasn't aware she had a handler."
"I'm not her handler," In-Ho replied, his tone icy. "But I am someone who ensures boundaries are respected."
The tension in the room was palpable, but Anton backed down with a dismissive wave. "Of course, of course. My apologies."
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
The next day, a massive box arrived at Achlys's quarters. Inside was an elaborate diamond-encrusted bracelet, its design intricate and obviously expensive. Achlys stared at it, her stomach twisting.
"He won't stop," she muttered, frustration lacing her voice.
"You should've refused it outright," In-Ho snapped, his voice tight with barely controlled anger.
"I didn't ask for it," she shot back. "What was I supposed to do? Throw it in his face?"
"That wouldn't be a bad idea," he muttered, pacing the room.
Achlys sighed, running a hand through her hair. "Why does this bother you so much?"
He stopped, turning to face her. His mask of calm authority cracked, and raw emotion spilled through. "Because he wants what's mine."
Her breath caught at his words. "In-Ho—"
He stepped closer, his dark eyes boring into hers. "I've been patient. I've tried to keep this professional. But every time I see him looking at you, touching you, I—" He cut himself off, shaking his head. "You don't understand what you do to me."
"In-Ho," she said softly, placing a hand on his chest. "I'm not interested in that VIP or anyone else. Only you."
Her confession hung in the air, heavy and electric. For a moment, they simply stared at each other, the weight of their emotions finally breaking the dam that had held them back.
In-Ho's lips crashed against hers, the kiss searing and desperate. Achlys responded with equal fervor, her arms wrapping around his neck as he pulled her close. The room seemed to blur around them, the only reality being the fire that burned between them.
He lifted her effortlessly, carrying her to the bed. "You don't know how long I've waited for this," he murmured against her skin, his voice trembling with desire.
"Show me," she whispered, her fingers trailing down his back.
Their clothes were shed in a flurry of motion, and as their bodies moved together, every touch and kiss became a declaration of the feelings they had suppressed for so long. In-Ho worshiped her with a reverence that made her heart ache, his hands and lips exploring every inch of her as if committing her to memory.
"You're mine," he whispered against her ear, his voice raw. "And I'll never let anyone take you from me."
"I'm yours," she replied, her voice equally fervent. "Always."
For hours, they lost themselves in each other, their connection deepening in ways neither had thought possible. The darkness of the world outside their door faded, leaving only the light they found in each other.
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
The games continued, each round more brutal than the last. The contestants were pushed to their limits, forced to betray alliances, abandon friends, and sacrifice their humanity. The VIPs reveled in the spectacle, their laughter and applause a chilling backdrop to the carnage.
Achlys struggled with the cruelty she witnessed. Despite her role, she couldn't harden herself to the suffering. In-Ho noticed her turmoil, his protectiveness growing stronger.
"You're not like them," he said one night as they stood on their private balcony overlooking the arena. "That's why they're obsessed with you. You're real. Pure."
"I'm not pure," she replied, her voice tinged with bitterness. "I've done terrible things too."
"You survived," he said firmly. "And now, you're here. With me."
She turned to him, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Sometimes, I wonder if I'm any better than them."
He cupped her face, forcing her to meet his gaze. "You are. Never doubt that."
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
As the games neared their end, Anton made one last attempt to win Achlys's favor. During a private gathering, he cornered her, his intentions unmistakable.
"You belong with someone who appreciates you," he said, leaning closer. "Someone who can give you the world."
Achlys stepped back, her heart pounding. "I don't belong to anyone."
"Then let me change that," he said, reaching for her.
Before he could touch her, In-Ho appeared, his fury barely contained. He grabbed Anton by the collar, his voice a low growl. "Touch her again, and you'll regret it."
Anton sneered. "She deserves better than a broken man hiding behind a mask."
In-Ho didn't reply, but the look in his eyes promised retribution. He turned to Achlys, his hand on her lower back as he guided her away.
Later that night, Achlys sat in her quarters, the events of the evening replaying in her mind. In-Ho entered without knocking, his expression still dark with anger.
"I'm sorry," she said softly. "I didn't mean to cause trouble."
"It's not your fault," he replied, sitting beside her. "I just can't stand the thought of someone else having you."
"You already have me," she said, her voice trembling. "Don't you see that?"
His gaze softened, and he reached for her hand. "I do. And I'll do whatever it takes to protect you."
"I know," she said, leaning against him. "And I'll protect you too."
They sat in silence for a moment before he tilted her chin up, his lips brushing against hers in a kiss that was both tender and passionate. Their connection was undeniable, their bond unbreakable.
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ .
The games continued with their relentless cruelty, the contestants dwindling as the rounds grew more vicious. The VIPs were more entertained than ever, their twisted laughter echoing through the grand halls. Among them, Madame Ling—a prominent female VIP known for her cunning charm—had taken an obvious interest in In-Ho In-Ho. Her advances, though subtle at first, were becoming bolder with each passing day.
Achlys noticed. She noticed everything, from the way Madame Ling brushed her hand against In-Ho's arm during conversations to the way her sharp, painted smile lingered on him. Though Achlys tried to mask her growing jealousy, it simmered just beneath the surface, threatening to spill over.
The VIP lounge was opulent, its golden walls and crystal chandeliers exuding wealth and power. Achlys and In-Ho stood side by side, their masks firmly in place, as they addressed the gathered VIPs about the next round of games. Achlys wore a flowing white gown that seemed to glow under the warm light, while In-Ho's dark suit and mask gave him an aura of command.
As the presentation ended, Madame Ling approached them, her silk dress shimmering as she moved. She placed a hand on In-Ho's arm, her ruby-red nails sharp against the fabric of his suit.
"Frontman," she purred, her voice dripping with charm. "You've done a magnificent job. Truly, these games are unparalleled."
"Thank you," In-Ho replied, his tone polite but distant. He didn't look at her, his focus instead darting briefly to Achlys, who stood stoically beside him.
"I'd love to discuss your methods sometime," Ling continued, stepping closer. "Perhaps over dinner? I'm sure you have fascinating stories to share."
Achlys felt her stomach twist, but she kept her expression neutral, refusing to let her emotions show. Instead, she cleared her throat, drawing both their attention. "The frontman has a busy schedule," she said smoothly. "I'm sure you understand."
Madame Ling's eyes flicked to her, a glint of amusement in them. "Of course, Frontwoman. Though, surely, even someone as busy as he is can spare an evening."
Achlys clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms. "Perhaps. But we both have much to oversee."
In-Ho, sensing the tension, stepped away from Ling's grasp. "Excuse us," he said, his voice curt. He placed a hand on Achlys's lower back, guiding her away. The touch sent a thrill through her, even as her jealousy burned.

Back in their quarters, Achlys paced the room, her frustration bubbling over. In-Ho leaned against the wall, watching her with an unreadable expression.
"She's persistent," Achlys muttered, more to herself than him.
"Who?" he asked, feigning ignorance.
"You know who," she snapped, turning to face him. "Madame Ling."
In-Ho's lips twitched into the faintest smirk. "Are you jealous?"
Her cheeks flushed, but she crossed her arms, lifting her chin defiantly. "Of course not. I just don't think it's appropriate for her to... distract you."
"She doesn't distract me," he said, his voice dropping. He stepped closer, his presence overwhelming. "You do."
Achlys's heart raced as he closed the distance between them. "I'm not—"
"Don't lie," he interrupted, his hand cupping her cheek. "I see it in your eyes. You think I'd ever look at anyone else when you're here?"
She didn't answer, her breath hitching as his thumb brushed her cheekbone. "In-Ho..."
"I've told you before," he murmured, his lips inches from hers. "You're mine."
Her resolve crumbled, and she leaned into him, their lips meeting in a kiss that was both fierce and tender. The passion they had been suppressing erupted, their hands roaming as they clung to each other.
In-Ho lifted her effortlessly, carrying her to the bed as his lips trailed down her neck. Achlys's fingers tangled in his hair, her breath coming in soft gasps. Every touch was electric, every kiss igniting a fire that consumed them both.
"In-Ho," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "I... I've never felt like this before."
"Neither have I," he admitted, his voice rough with desire. "But I don't want it to stop."
Their clothes were discarded in a flurry of motion, and as their bodies pressed together, they moved with a synchronicity that spoke of their unspoken connection. Achlys clung to him, her heart pounding as he worshipped her with a reverence that brought tears to her eyes.
"You're everything," he murmured against her skin. "Everything I've ever wanted."
She held him tighter, her voice trembling as she replied, "And you're mine."
For hours, they lost themselves in each other, their love and desire obliterating the darkness that surrounded them. When they finally lay entwined, their breaths mingling, Achlys felt a peace she hadn't known in years.
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
The following days were a blur of chaos and tension. The games grew even crueler, the contestants driven to the brink of madness as the VIPs demanded more blood, more betrayal. Achlys and In-Ho remained a united front, their relationship strengthening as they navigated the storm together.
But Madame Ling wasn't finished.
During a lavish gala for the VIPs, Madame Ling cornered In-Ho once again. This time, her approach was bolder. She placed a hand on his chest, her painted lips curving into a seductive smile.
"You're an enigma, Frontman," she said, her voice low. "I'd love to get to know you better."
In-Ho stepped back, his expression cold. "I'm not interested."
Ling's smile faltered, but she quickly recovered. "Not even a little?"
"No," he said firmly, his gaze unwavering. "My loyalty lies elsewhere."
Ling's eyes narrowed, but she didn't press further. She wasn’t used to being told no and it showed. As she walked away, Achlys appeared, having witnessed the exchange from a distance.
"She doesn't give up, does she?" Achlys said, her tone light but edged with bitterness.
In-Ho turned to her, his expression softening. "She doesn't matter. Only you do."
Achlys's jealousy melted away at his words, replaced by a warmth that spread through her chest. "Good," she said, a small smile tugging at her lips. "Because you're mine too."
That night, as they lay together in the privacy of their quarters, Achlys rested her head on In-Ho's chest, her fingers tracing patterns on his skin.
"This world is cruel," she said softly. "But with you, it feels less so."
He kissed the top of her head, his arms tightening around her. "I'll protect you from it. Always."
"I know," she whispered, her voice filled with trust. "And I'll protect you too."
Their bond, forged in the fires of the games, was unbreakable. Together, they would face whatever horrors lay ahead, knowing that as long as they had each other, they could endure anything.
The end.

OKAY, let's not talk about the picture... I hate it.
This is how "bound by the games" end, a happy ending fro our broken couple.
I still don't quite like it but I'll be revising it.
As always, I love you, Achlys.

@horrorwood01 can I has this at some point,, as a treat,,,
Cleric/bard whose lyre is strung with twisted strands of Ilmater's flesh. The lyre can cast either inflict wounds or cure wounds (at base level) a number of times per day equal to half of the holder's total level rounded down (but can do so at longer range, rather than touch). If the user snaps a string as an action, they can roll for divine intervention. Once snapped, a string cannot be repaired.
The instrument is called the Organ Harp.
#I am okay if u say no I just think this is very neat#and it feels like a logical upgrade from the rib lyre Achlys already has#like. imagine if the Dark Powers decided to imbue the lyre with powers like this just to frick with Strahd or smth#dnd

All of my non-twst ocs are old ones I've had for a while. I have considered making them into twst ocs too as an au or smt... Let's see what we have:
☆My first ever queer couple consisting of a butch bi ginger (Cassandra- though she prefers being called Casey- Russou) and a lesbian ex gymnast (CatherineHarris). Both are assassins (or spies? A weird mix of the two idk little me was cooking and the food was a mystery). Casey's a sniper who's tough as hell and will fight you in the alleyway, and Catherine is as elegant and charming as can be and you'll be quite seduced until poison gets slipped into your drink.
☆Twin brother (Alekai Snow) and sister (Chromespear Snow. I'm working on the name change, okay) from another planet. They're part of a species I called the Nocturi. Well, half Nocturi and half Solarian. Alekai's a doctor who was forcibly declawed and needs tech to help his fingers move bc it caused nerve damage, and Chromespear's a blacksmith, and she needed more development tbh but she was iconic
☆The boss of my two assassins who's just an incredibly superfluous, cartoony supervillain simply known as "The Director" (nobody knows his name and neither does he 💀) He's shipped with an irl friend's oc who's a mafia boss and they're both incredibly evil together
☆The powerful mage and general (Ephemeris Vikatte) who's got a whole *gestures* thing going on with Alekai. The two of them are basically just "enemies" (in a petty way) to friends to lovers. He's a bit of a dumbass tbh XD himbo energy
☆The guy who in retrospect is low-key a beta Silas. (Kurai Dusk) He's traumatised and tired but he loves his wifey to the ends of the earth. He's also the second in command to the Empress who I'm considering making a Queen instead because little Quinn did not understand what that title meant lmao
☆Another doctor guy (Assegai Copper) but he has anxiety and mommy issues and powerful magic and is trying his best. He's a small-town GP (like REALLY small-town. Like a village) and he accidentally saved an assassin named Crimson (unrelated to my other two assassins) who he has a situationship with now XD (I actually started writing a story for them when I was like... 12/13. Rewrite? 👀)
☆My beloved Empress/Queen (Achlys) who's the last of her species, and whose species in question I actually wanted to be a mimicry of the Nocturi. She has immensely powerful magic and control of shadows and the darkness (was known as "the Shadow Empress" Can you tell this was my edgy phase yet)
☆My mad scientist (Dr. Maddeline Kruger) who "killed" Catherine. Casey's been hunting Dr. Kruger down ever since, but she doesn't know Catherine is still alive. I'm probably gonna change this storyline there was a lot wrong in retrospect 💀
Okay I'm tired now but tadaaaa should I make twst versions of them

I may get so much hate for this but I need to say it.
Percabeth ended in Tartarus.
Hear me out. So far they were cute and lovely (maybe aside from first book where Annabeth was unnecessarily mean to Percy) so for me it would be an endgame. Even if I were a little concerned about the fact that their feelings might be based on mutual trust in eachother and their abilities and not necessarily love or some other positive emotions/feelings that are not connected to the fact that they were constantly fighting for their life together (something like relationships of convenience if you know what I mean).
So it was all fine until the Tartarus part.
I admit it was straining for both of them physically, emotionally and mentally. They went through so much that it still amazes me that they were ready to continue the quest. But in Tartarus they also reached their breaking point for example Percy's fight with Achlys. This is the part that bothers me the most. To protect himself and Annabeth (but mostly her, let's be real) he was fighting goddess of misery while being hurt, tired, hungry and thirsty. He gave his everything to make sure that they'll stay alive and I feel like Annabeth didn't appreciate it as she should. I get it she was scared of him, was overwhelmed from everything. I really do. But after it she made him promise to never again take control over poison DURING WAR. It might have been some slip or bad choice of words on her part but the fact that she didn't stop to think about it later really bothers me.
Girl you're in middle of war and hell and yet you make your protector promise to not use a power that may save ton of lifes. Why didn't she make him promise to not use it unless to protect himself or someone else? Why take away from him one of the means of protection?
And the worst of it is fact that Percy kept his promise during fight with Polybotes or while freeing (dunno if it's a right word) infected Nymphs. Those were situations in which his and other people's life were in danger and yet he consciously chooses death to breaking his promise.
Such thoughtlessness from Annabeth is what broke this ship for me. She ignored that he saved her (and it's somehow valid when I think under how much stress she was), made him make a promise that endangered him and other people AND later on while talking with Piper (who she knows didn't have high or positive opinion on Percy) agreed that he need to be controlled.
Just thinking about it makes me sick and I can't look at them (at her) the same. If they at least at some point came back to this promise and reworded it or something then it would be different. But they didn't. And it hurts.
If you don't agree with my opinion and want to discuss it or anything please stay respectful💜
Have a nice day everyone

Unpopular Percy Jackson opinion: I’ve been kinda teetering back and forth on this opinion but I feel like this dude was overpowered af and the powerscaling is a bit all over the place
Like. I still can’t get over how he beat the god of war and combat in a match at age 12 with minimal training and didn’t even get seriously wounded. Maybe I’m wrong here, but even if they were near water that sounds kinda crazy
And then with Achlys, primordial goddess of misery and poison, the fact that he was able to almost kill her in her own domain and with her own poison is also just. I dunno, strange?
I understand that Percy should be strong as a child of one of the big 3, but dude is pulling feats that I would assume some of Poseidon’s godly children wouldn’t even be able to do. I love Percy dearly and I think he’s a great character, but some of this was a little wild looking back on it (my memory is also pretty shit, so if I made half of this up please call it out)
I agree in a way that that Percy was overpowered in a lot of ways, and I think Rick often prioritized introducing as many Greek Myth figures as possible that I think he didn’t really take alot of time to flesh out the fights or give Percy opponents he could reasonably handle.
It became more of a problem as the series went on, in my opinion, but I think his powers were more present as the books went on.
I would have loved to see more fights like the Medusa fight, where he is defeating monsters through strategy and using his surroundings, rather than defeating them using his powers.

@hero-of-cobblestone
Jasper wasn't the only human manipulated by power. The power corrupts and spread downwards. Some knights, treated well by Jasper were often granted boons. Achlys, not knowing the full extent of what was going on, went willingly with Jasper as he was her direct superior.
At first, she was assigned to normal jobs, but then like twisting a screw, his commands got more and more horrible. It was when she actually killed a person with the powers she gained from him that she realized something was REALLY wrong with her...
So she ran... she ran and ran. Cobblestone was a safe place right?... Alongside the way, she found a barely conscious person. She didn't have healing supplies, so All she could do was watch and hear her request to have her see her dad again. Using the cursed powers, she gained from Jasper. she took her body and... It was weak. Still, it would be enough to conceal her identity from her persuers that she would end up bringing near Cobblestone.
...Strike after strike she suffered. Blow after blow. Her weakened and injured body, no longer capable of dealing the magic she is so used to dealing. "H...Help me..."
Just as her eyes were beginning to close, she heard loud noises coming from nearby. Was... Did someone come to save her?
She was barely able to focus as she heard the incantation and warmth spread through her body as it was beginning to heal. "H-Huh.. Who... Who are you...?"

So I’ve been thinking lately, and I noticed how the Mystic Wizards on Leanbow’s old team never got any names or backgrounds, only that they perished during the war against the Morlocks.
So I decided to make some OC characters for such an occasion
Sēo Indira, the Original Yellow Mystic Wizard💛⚡️

She’s described to have been rather outlandish with her excitement towards the mysticism of Briarwood, resembling some qualities of Chip’s own wonders about the word. Though her tendencies to express such powers have nearly killed Leanbow a few times on account of her burning acres of land just to cook some chicken and crops for fun(Leanbow nearly being caught in the crossfire)….
Chip’s Predecessor, her full backstory is still up in the air but her mother, Miranda, was a curse magician who came from the Achlyēos people(Achlyēos comes from Dreor and Achlys which means Blood and Mist and since curse magic users use magic that have various effects on the world, the source comes from within through Neutral Magic, same source Jenji derives his powers from). So Indira’s last name was Achlyēos like her mother, after Miranda’s death, she had an upbringing with her father, and she adopted the last name of Luxero(just a play on light and luxury).
Sēo Indira is her title, Sēo came from her mother’s last name but in reality, it’s the old English word for “The”, and with her name, I was kinda thinking it could be a cool title with her being THE Indira, or say whenever she arrives in a battle, she is THE Storm(cause of her thunder element).
Some more facts about her are that due to her mother’s background and being knee-deep in neutral magic, the general stigma was that her fate and any magical affinity she acquired would lead to something dangerous and uncontrollable, while her father secretly has ties to dark magic. Though this union of theirs led to a daughter having a great affinity for light magic(like a semi-negative and another negative making a positive)
The fate rumor wasn’t all that off but not in a bad way, she crafted a spell so powerful that it was able to kill what was considered an invincible concept. The ten terrors weren’t always just ten, one member was Death itself, Thaentos, the spell she crafted was this overlord of thunder and arrows into a suit of armor and arrows, and with one single strike we destroyed Thaentos. The power behind the spell draws in all three forces of magic but the drawback is that it will destroy the user since power itself can tip the scales(like if you kill death that would cause an imbalance so instead death just became a singular concept instead of having a Terror reigning over it)

The golden rabbit's legacy (Hwang In-Ho/Frontman x fem! reader!)
Il-nam's granddaughter will prove herself worthy of being the next hostess, while someone becomes her loyal shadow.
CHAPTER I: First game & obsession unveiled
Previous chapter: Prologue
Next chapter: Chapter II

Pairing: Hwang In-Ho/Frontman x Original!female!Character
Also, about the choice of a false name for Melinoe: Eun-seol.
“Eun” (은) means silver and it symbolizes symbolizing the moon’s light, and Seol (설) means "snow," representing purity and calmness.
I think it’s important this choice of a false name because curiously it’s exactly how In-Ho sees our Melinoe. (The name evokes the moon’s silver glow and has a gentle, ethereal tone).
Anoher curious thing I want to point out is that the name of Wol-Jin also means something similar, which drives In-Ho insane because he knows that.
Before anything I want to thank every single person that liked and rebbloged my story, I love y'all. Although I didn't tag anyone (mostly because I'm still trying to figure out how this works) this is dedicated to all of you. <3
Loves you,
Achlys.
Word count: 2,1k words.
Summary: In the shadow of her grandfather’s dark empire, Melinoe, a brilliant young woman in her early twenties, steps into a world of blood, betrayal, and power she was never meant to inherit. As the granddaughter of the infamous Oh Il-Nam, creator of the deadly Squid Games, she is thrust into a brutal legacy that demands she not only survive but thrive as its new hostess. Determined to honor her family’s name and prove herself worthy of the golden rabbit mask, she designs games more cunning and lethal than any before.
But power comes at a cost. Beneath her calculated exterior lies a woman haunted by guilt, trauma, and the faces of those she has condemned to die. And at her side stands Hwang In-Ho, the enigmatic Front Man—older than her, cold, and feared by all, except for her. Since the day he learned of her existence, In-Ho has been deeply, obsessively in love with Melinoe. His devotion is as intense as it is toxic, a tangled mix of desire and protectiveness that pushes him to control every aspect of her life.
As Melinoe rises to prominence, she finds herself navigating not only the deadly games but also the dangerous allure of In-Ho. Their relationship is a powder keg of suppressed emotions, forbidden passion, and fraught power dynamics. He would destroy anyone who comes close to her—including a charming, younger VIP who flirts with her one too many times. Yet, while In-Ho dreams of keeping her safe in his arms, Melinoe dreams of reshaping the games into something darker and more just—her own twisted vision of justice against the world’s worst offenders.
When the 33rd Squid Games begin, everything changes. With her grandfather entering the arena as Player 001 and Gi-Hun as Player 456, the games take on unprecedented stakes. As alliances crumble and bodies fall, Melinoe must contend with the weight of her grandfather’s legacy, the manipulations of the VIPs, and the unrelenting obsession of the man who would burn the world for her.
In this slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance, “The golden rabbit’s legacy” explores themes of obsession, power, betrayal, and the lengths people will go to protect the ones they love. Juxtaposing the dazzling opulence of the VIPs with the desperate brutality of the games, it tells the story of a woman fighting for control in a world that threatens to consume her—and the man willing to do anything to keep her.
Will Melinoe rise as the queen of the games, or will the bonds of obsession and love be the end of her?
Warnings: MDNI!!!, Afab!, angst. Sexual language. Fear of losing someone. Smut (light kinda), grumpy x sunshine, dark romance, age gap, possessive, obsessed, paranoid and dominant In-Ho, daddy issues, yandere behaviour, jealousy, violence, murder, typical squid game stuff.
English isn’t my first language, if there are any mistakes, please forgive me. :)
NOW, ENJOY THE CHAPTER!
In-Ho’s mask concealed the maelstrom of emotions surging beneath the surface. The way she stood before him, unyielding and fierce, sent a jolt through his lower core, something in him hardening with ache. His chest warmed —a mix of admiration, desire, longing, and dread. He wanted to protect her, to shield her from the horrors he had spent years overseeing. But more than that, he wanted her.
She was a vision of defiance, her hazel-amber-toned eyes blazing like moonlight on restless waves. The soft curve of her lips, the determined set of her jaw, the way her voice didn’t waver even as he loomed over her—all of it stoked the flames of his obsession. In-Ho had spent years in control of every facet of his life, but the moment she entered the room, that control shattered like brittle glass.
He took a step closer, closing the distance between them. “You think bravery is enough to survive these games?” His voice was a low growl, almost primal in its intensity. “It’s not. Bravery will get you killed.”
Her gaze didn’t falter, though her breathing quickened. She could feel the tension in the air, a weight that pressed against her chest. “Then teach me,” she said, her voice steady but tinged with something softer—vulnerability. “Show me what it takes.”
For a fleeting moment, In-Ho imagined what it would be like to keep her here, away from the games, away from danger. He would teach her, protect her, keep her locked in the safety of his arms. His thoughts veered into dangerous territory, fantasies of her laughter filling the sterile halls, her soft moans, her warmth melting the cold, unyielding fortress of his heart. He was drowning in her presence, and he didn’t want to come up for air.
But he couldn’t. The games wouldn’t allow it. The island wouldn’t allow it. His role wouldn’t allow it.
Instead, he stepped back, turning away to shield the raw hunger in his eyes. “Go to your quarters,” he said curtly, his tone like ice. “You’ll need rest for what’s ahead.”
That night, In-Ho couldn’t sleep. He stood in his private quarters, staring at the monitor that displayed the feed from Melinoe’s room. She was sitting by the window, her silhouette framed by the moonlight that spilled through the glass. Her hair fell in soft waves around her shoulders, and she seemed lost in thought, her delicate features illuminated with a quiet intensity.
In-Ho’s gloved fingers traced the edge of the screen, as though he could reach through it and touch her. She was so close yet so far, a radiant star he couldn’t help but orbit. Every fiber of his being ached for her—to hold her, to protect her, to make her his. The thought of anyone else being near her, touching her, made his blood boil.
He had watched her from a distance for years, his obsession growing with every detail he learned about her. The way she carried herself with effortless grace, the way her mind worked, sharp and calculating yet compassionate. He had memorized the cadence of her voice, the curve of her smile, the fire in her eyes when she spoke of justice and fairness. She was his undoing, the one thing he couldn’t control, and he both hated and craved it.
The sound of the elevator interrupted his reverie. “Yes?,” he said, his voice measured, not even facing who entered. It wasn’t Melinoe. He didn’t care if it wasn’t her.
A square guard entered, bowing slightly. “Sir, the preparation for tomorrow’s game is complete.”
“Good,” he replied, dismissing the guard with a wave of his hand. The elevator’s door closed, leaving him alone once more. His full attention back to the screen, his gaze locked on Melinoe.
“You don’t belong here,” he murmured, his voice almost a whisper. “You’re too pure for this world.”
But deep down, he knew it wasn’t purity that drew him to her—it was her strength. The unyielding resolve that matched his own. She was his equal, his match in every way, and that terrified him as much as it thrilled him.
The next morning, the players were gathered in the expansive main hall, their nervous whispers filling the air. Melinoe stood among them, her number—279—stitched across her green tracksuit. She scanned the crowd, her sharp eyes taking in every detail. She noted the nervous tapping of fingers, the wide-eyed terror of some, and the quiet determination of others.
“Players,” a voice boomed over the intercom. “Welcome to the games.”
The room fell silent as In-Ho stepped onto the surveillance room, filled with cameras and the black floor, without the pictures yet. His presence commanded attention, the weight of his authority palpable.
“The first game will begin shortly,” it announced. “Please follow the guards to the designated area.”
The players were led to a sprawling field, where a giant doll stood at one end, its lifeless eyes scanning the crowd. Melinoe recognized the game immediately—Mugunghwa Kochi Pieot Seumnida. But as the rules were explained, her heart sank.
The additional twist—a deadly trap triggered by illuminated tiles—added an extra layer of peril. Each step would be a gamble, a test of both luck and strategy.
As the game began, Melinoe kept her movements precise, her mind racing to calculate the safest path. Around her, players screamed as they were eliminated, their bodies crumpling to the ground or falling victim to the traps below.
In-Ho watched from the control room, his hands gripping the edges of the console. Every step she took felt like a knife twisting in his chest. The thought of her being hurt, of her life slipping away under his watch, was unbearable. He had already intervened once, subtly redirecting the mechanisms to ensure her path remained free of traps. But even that wasn’t enough to calm his nerves.
When the game finally ended, Melinoe stood among the survivors, her chest heaving as she caught her breath. Her eyes met one of the other players—077, a young man with an easy smile who offered her a nod of camaraderie.
In-Ho’s jaw tightened as he watched the interaction. The way 077 looked at her, the casual familiarity in his gesture, sent a surge of jealousy coursing through him. She was his, even if she didn’t know it yet. No one else had the right to her attention, her smile.
In-Ho sat in the cold solitude of his own control room, his unblinking gaze locked on the monitor displaying Melinoe. She stood with the other survivors of the first game, her face illuminated by relief and triumph, her hair falling in soft, damp waves around her shoulders. She was alive—safe for now—but the sight of her laughing with Player 077 sent a searing wave of jealousy coursing through him.
077 leaned closer to her, his hand brushing her shoulder in a gesture far too familiar. Melinoe didn’t pull away; instead, she laughed again, a soft, melodic sound that twisted the knife already lodged in In-Ho’s chest.
The flickering images on the screen blurred as his mind veered into dangerous territory. He could picture it so clearly: stepping into the room with all the authority his position granted him. The crimson-suited guards flanked him like an extension of his will, silent and waiting.
“Take him,” he would order, his voice cold and unwavering.
The guards wouldn’t hesitate. They’d grab 077, hauling him away as the young man stammered in confusion, his protests swallowed by the sound of In-Ho’s footsteps echoing against the walls. He could see it now—the way the boy’s eyes would widen as he realized the gravity of his situation. There would be no trial, no mercy.
A single nod from In-Ho would suffice. The crack of a gunshot would ring out, sharp and final, leaving behind nothing but silence. 077’s lifeless body would slump to the floor, and the world would return to its rightful order.
The vividness of the fantasy sent a shiver down his spine, but the reality of the screen brought him crashing back to the present. 077 was still there, alive, touching her, making her laugh. In-Ho’s jaw clenched as he forced himself to breathe, his gloved hands gripping the edges of the couch with a white-knuckled intensity.
“Pathetic,” he muttered under his breath, though the venom in his tone was directed at himself. How far had he fallen? To what depths of obsession had he descended?
With a sharp exhale, he pushed himself to his feet and crossed the room to the small, meticulously kept bar in the corner. The amber liquid of his favorite scotch gleamed in the low light, and for a moment, his heart softened. This bottle wasn’t just any scotch—it was a gift from her.
Melinoe had presented it to him on the second day of her arrival, her hazel-amber eyes bright with determination. “I know you’re busy keeping everything running smoothly,” she had said, her tone teasing yet sincere. “This is just a little token of my appreciation.”
At the time, he had accepted it with a curt nod, though inside he had been reeling. She knew him. She had chosen the gift with care, her thoughtfulness wrapping around him like a vice. Even now, the bottle felt heavier in his hand, as though it carried the weight of her presence.
Pouring himself a generous glass, he took a seat near the monitor displaying her image. The scotch burned as it slid down his throat, its warmth doing little to soothe the cold pit in his stomach. He watched as she and 077 spoke, their smiles easy and unguarded, and another wave of jealousy rolled over him.
“You have no idea,” he murmured, his voice thick with a mix of longing and frustration. “No idea what you do to me.”
He tipped the glass back, draining it in one long swallow before pouring another. His mind drifted to the daydream again, the satisfaction of watching 077 fall. It was a cruel fantasy, but it brought a small measure of relief to his tormented heart.
By the time he set the glass down, his mask felt heavier than ever. She was untouchable, unreachable, and yet he couldn’t stop reaching for her—even if only in his mind.
Later that night, the bunkroom was filled by soft breathing sounds, the players sleeping and the compound was silent, save for the faint hum of the security system. In-Ho roamed the halls with purpose, though his mind was anything but steady. The scotch had dulled the edges of his torment, but it hadn’t erased it. Every laugh, every smile she had shared with 077 replayed in his mind, taunting him.
Without realizing it, his feet had carried him to her quarters, right next to his. Despite Melinoe’s complaints they agreed she would spend the nights in her own quarters, safe from any fight the players would endure during the night. The soft glow of a lamp spilled through the slightly open door, and he hesitated, his gloved hand brushing against the frame. He knew he shouldn’t, but the pull was irresistible. She was inside, so close, her presence like a beacon drawing him in.
When he stepped inside, she was seated at the small desk, her back to him. A towel draped over her shoulders, and she was combing through her damp hair, the strands glistening under the warm light. The faint scent of lavender and vanilla filled the air, and his breath hitched at the sight of her—soft, unguarded, perfect.
“You should be resting,” he said, his voice low and gruff.
She startled slightly, turning to face him. Her eyes widened briefly before softening in recognition. “You have a habit of sneaking up on people, don’t you?” she said, her lips curving into a teasing smile while scanning his face for a sign of emotion, the black mask making her desires impossible.
“I’m ensuring your safety,” he replied, stepping closer. “You shouldn’t leave your door open.”
Her eyebrow arched, and she leaned back in her chair, her expression playful. “And here I thought I was perfectly safe under your watch.”
His jaw tightened, though he couldn’t deny the warmth her teasing brought. “This isn’t a joke, Melinoe,” he said, his voice sharp with an edge of concern. “You don’t understand how dangerous this place is.”
She studied him, her playful demeanor fading into something softer. “And what makes you so concerned for me, Frontman?” she asked, her tone gentle but probing. “I’m just another player, right?”
He took another step forward, the distance between them shrinking to mere inches. The air grew heavy with unspoken tension, and for a moment, the only sound was their breathing. His hand lifted, trembling slightly, before brushing against her cheek.
“You’re not just another player,” he said, his voice low and strained. “Not to me.”
This is the first chapter! Did you like it? I hope you did because, as we say in my country, it made me have women's feelings (me hizo sentir cosas de mujer).
I plan on posting yet another chapter today, alongside with a masterlist and maybe a post presenting myself, so y'all know me, and can ask me things and suggest ideas, for Melinoe's story and others. (although I have the entire story written... I wrote it yesterday lmfao).
It has a total of over 18 k words, so I am assuming I will divide it in 6 chapters maybe (?).
Please, don't doubt on commenting anything you want to. I will gladly take your love words!
See you soon babes!
Achlys.

Lord Darkar, The Shadow Phoenix
When the Magic Dimension was created, scholars believe that it mirrored another dimension called Achlys. It is thought that because that dimension was dying out, with magical cores of both planets and people imploding and dying, the Great Dragon created a new dimension for magic to thrive – the Magic Dimension.
Lord Darkar was once a King, or a high standing noble, in Achlys. He had extreme power over shadows and darkness, however, he was loyal and compassionate to those around him. However, as his kingdom was dying and his wife’s magic beginning to kill her, he made a deal with the Moirai (the ancient deities of Fate) that would allow him to save his dying wife. In this exchange, he had to give up his mortal body in order for him to absorb magical energy. When he tried to absorb his wife’s magical core, it ultimately destabilised and killed her, and Darker was unable to heal her injuries.
His wife’s death is what saw his descent into madness and what gained him his reputation for being the Prince of Darkness and the opposite to the Great Dragon. In order to bring back his wife, Darkar tried absorbing as many magical cores as he could in Achlys to try and bring his wife back from the dead. His rampage, along with the destabilisation of Achlys saw the complete genocide of the Dimension, with only Darkar left. Once he was the only living sole in Achlys, he opened a portal to the magical dimension, believing the Great Dragon’s Flame would be able to revive his wife – but this effort put him in stasis until the Dragon Flame’s instability in Bloom awakened him.
Darkar is unable to feel anything but negative emotions, and thrives on the hatred and vulnerability of others. While his powers are based on shadow magic, he also has strong transformative abilities such as being able to transform himself into the Phoenix and occasionally other people. He is also able to create “shadow monsters” from those whose magical core he has absorbed. Further he is able to influence others greatly, when they let him into their mind. Darker is well versed in magical rituals and rights, often using these to enhance his magic.
Darkar’s connection to Achlys and his deal with the Moirai elevated him to a higher-level transformation – essentially making him indestructible. The Moirai, through their ritual made him the deity of Pure Darkness, in order to bring balance to the Pure Light that the Great Dragon bought. Darkar despises that he cannot die and be with his wife, and because of this he will bring destruction to everything until he can bring her back.

One Piece: Battle For Time Arc
Chapter 5: Saving Achlys! The Elysium Flower of Life
---------------‐----------
"Achlys!!" Rayleigh was panicked. He heard her very soft call for help. She wasn't waking...what is going on?
Crocus checked over her, noting a fever, and....how was this possible?
"Rayleigh, Roger. There's a sea prism bullet in her neck." Crocus muttered as he picked her up. "We need to remove it now. Roger, ask Rouge for the Elysium Flower. That's the only way we will save her."
He rushed out. Roger took off toward Rouge. Rayleigh sat on the bed. How did this happen? He never heard a gun going off, and the only person who had a sea prism bullet was still unconscious. Killer had woken up and was helping with the chores.
//
"Rouge!! Quickly, i need the Elysium flower!" Rogers frantic voice could be heard. Everyone stopped in their tracks.
Marco looked up from his game with Shachi and Heat. "Whats the Elysium flower?"
"Its a flower that heals only devil fruit users when a sea prism bullet has infected their bloodstream. It's a very rare flower that you can only get from the Elysium Pirates."
Rouge came back with the flower, already crushed up for Crocus. "Whose hurt?"
"Achlys...the bullet was found in her neck." Roger stated, which caught Buggy and Shanks's attention.
"Miss Achlys?! Who did this?!" Young Shanks said, grabbing rogers pants. Buggys eyes watered up.
"We dont know. Gaban went to look for clues." Shanks released his grip nodding.
Roger thanked Rouge and rushed off. Heat came over to the two boys. "Hey, it'll be okay. From what I've heard, Achlys has been through worse. Chin up, alright?"
Penguin nodded. "Exactly! We have to be strong for Miss Achlys. Marco here is a doctor, too. Maybe he could go help?"
Marco nodded. "I'll do my utmost best to get her back, alright?"
Buggy and Shanks both nodded.
//
Back on the ship, Nami assisted Crocus with surgery. She wasn't a doctor, but she wasn't going to let Achlys die.
Roger suddenly burst in with the flower mixture. Crocus took it and added it to the mixture.
"Any idea where the bullet came from?"
"Yeah, from this admirals gun. The problem is, she wasn't the one who shot it. She's still in a coma."
Roger widened his eyes. "So there's someone on board? An enemy?"
"Seems so. No one who came from the other timeline could have done it as everyone is accounted for. Has Gaban found anything?"
"No, he hasnt returned. Rayleigh is taking this hard." Roger muttered.
Nami was shocked. How in the world did this happen?
"Roger!! I found the gun!" Gaban yelled.
Roger went out to talk with him. Crocus pulled the bullet out, but the bleeding wouldn't stop. "Dammit. It won't stop."
"Just in time, yoi. My powers can help with that." Marco said, shifting his one arm into the phoenix wing and laying it over Achlys's body. Her skin looked deathly pale. The bleeding stopped, and her skin gained its color.
Crocus applied the salve and applied it inside the open wound, suturing it closed and applying a bandage to the area. He applied bandages over some other wounds he found that marco couldn't heal.
//
Some time later, Shanks and Buggy returned. The crew had gone out with Crocus as well. Rayleigh was still in his cabin. Nami was watching over Achlys. Nami felt her eyelids suddenly get heavy, and she fell asleep.
A dark chuckle could be heard as a fog suddenly enveloped the ship and island.
"Well now, I didn't expect those damn pirates to be so clever. I guess I'll have to go after the young ones." A golden eye swept its gaze across the deck. He sent the bullet into Achlys so that he could slowly dismantle the Roger Pirates and start his plan.
Shanks widened his eyes. He wasn't strong enough to defend Achlys or Buggy by himself.
Rayleigh felt a disturbance and went to open his door... when he realized it wouldn't budge. The mysterious man made sure no one could interfere.
"Found you!" The man laughed as Buggy screamed. Shanks shot out with his sword.
"Dont hurt my brother!" He yelled. The man narrowed his eyes...that strawhat.
"I haven't seen that hat since Joyboy sealed me up... god, that takes me back... I suppose i should introduce myself. Im Armaros... and i vow to destroy all pirates."
Shanks went to swing his sword when it got knocked out of his hands. Armaros picked him up as well.
"Now i think we should take your souls and destroy them... making you two husks..." he said, tying the two up.
"No one will save you... too bad. If only Mirai hadn't escaped..."
He went to swoop down to take the souls....when he felt something stab him through his abdomen.
"ACHLYS!" The boys yelled. Achlys was breathing heavily. She made it just in time.
"No one hurts my boys..." she growled.
"Well now, I didn't expect you to recover so quickly." He went to strike her, and she pulled the other saber out.
They dueled, his katana against her 2 swords. The metal clashes as Achlys used what little energy she had left, running more on instinct.
A swipe of Armaros's sword slashed her side as she barely dodged it. Achlys growled.
Suddenly, Armaros stopped. "Looks like the Dark King got out. I'll let you win this time... Bloody Butterfly." She growled and took one last slash, which connected before he disappeared. A small lantern fell to the floor. A blue light glows from inside.
"SHANKS! BUGGY! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!" Rayleigh bursted onto the deck. He saw the two boys fine but shakened up. Then he locked eyes with Achlys.
"Butterfly... you're awake...oh!" He rushed towards her as her body gave out, energy finally tapped out. Her motherly instincts protected the two boys, and Rayleigh was here. She could rest.
"Rayleigh...that lantern...its one from the legends of our home island...the Soul Snatcher...and his lanterns..."
Rayleigh nodded. He picked it up, holding Achlys against his hip.
Shanks spoke up. "The man said something about Mirai escaping... is it possible that this is her soul?"
Rayleigh nodded. He was about to speak when the entire crew rushed onto the deck.
"Is everyone alright?! We saw the fog suddenly appeared but we couldn't get to the ship?" Roger said, checking over the boys with uneasiness.
"We are fine. Achlys saved us!" Buggy cheered. Achlys smiled softly at that.
Crocus checked over her. "Other than the gash on her side, she's fine to return to your guys cabin, Rayleigh."
"I'll bring her there after she's been taken care of." He said, walking with Crocus to the infirmary, Shanks following. They all stopped in their tracks when they noticed someone looking out the window.
Her red hair flowed gently from the breeze of the open window. She turned to the people in the doorframe. Her green eyes pierced through Shanks brown ones.
Crocus cleared his throat. "Good to see you're awake and about, dear. Do you feel ok?"
She nodded. Nami came back with a glass of water. She gratefully took it, drinking slowly.
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
//
Shanks stared at her from behind Rayleigh. He had put Achlys to bed so she could recover, Buggy joining her to keep her company.
"So this is what my older brother was like as a kid...still a pain in the ass i see." She mused, a soft smile on her face.
Shanks scoffed at that. "Am not."
She giggled. "Im sure...I cant seem to recall much...oh, i should call Smoker."
"Wait, i dont think -"
"Shay?? Is that you?" A gruff voice said.
//
"Yeah, it's me. I guess i was in a coma in a while. Nami explained everything to me." Shay said, making Smoker relax.
Smoker was at the cross guild. He was advised to per Akainu and Sengoku
"Who else was with you?"
"Uh...Nami from strawhat pirates, Ace from Whitebeard pirates, killer from kid pirates and Savannah, Crocodiles secretary."
"Savannah? She's okay, right?" Crocodiles voice piped up.
"Yeah, babe, im fine. How are Constella and Julia holding up?" Savannah was worried about the girls.
"Constella is stressed out, and Julia passed out."
"Oh gosh, who else is there?"
Crocodile told her the groups who were here were all parties affected by this. Savannah sighed.
"Croc, something feels off... the soul snatcher legend was here... the one your home island had."
Suddenly, they heard a crash. Julia was awake and throwing more books around despite Mihawks pleas.
"I can't stop because if i do, they might be trapped there forever!"
--------------------------
