Spirit Classification

Spirit Classifications (in order from "Presumably Strongest" to "Presumably Weakest")

1. Major Deities

2. Major Demideities

3. Archangels, Demon Princes

4. Celestial and Planetary Intelligences (which have their own hierarchies)

5. Lesser Angels and Demons

6. Major Nature Spirits (may be as strong or stronger than some of the Angels and Demons listed above)  i.e. Storm Spirits, Mountain spirits, similar natural phenomena.

7. Ancestral Spirits, "Ascended Masters", etc.  (where these actually go is unclear)

8. Faeries and Elementals.  The strongest of these may be on par with the Major Nature Spirits above, but the vast majority of them fit right in at this level.

9. "Shadow People", Spirit Leeches, Emotion Eaters, "Hungry Ghosts", similar unconscious or barely conscious Kakodaemons. Succubi/Incubi probably fit in with #8. flees back to the aether Lesser servitors and similar thoughtforms on par with #9, stronger ones and tulpae approach the level of #8 but it is not clear. Be aware that sometimes higher "level" entities can disguise themselves as lower level ones.
