🌸🌸I've been tinking about this for awhile now, but yknow how Shinsou and Ojiro dun't really get along? What if they were best fwiends in littlespace? Like, whenever Ojiro wants to go somewhere, Toshi is clinging on his tail or vice versa. Ojiro usually goes non-verbal in his head space, so if he wants something he'll tug on Shinsou's shirt/hoodie/onesie and he'll ask for him. I just... aahh!! They'd be too cute! 🌸🌸

♡ Thank you so much! Sorry for the wait, I had a bit of a rough go with this one since it is a match-up I never considered, but now? I'm eating it up. It also got away from me a bit... I hope you enjoy!

♡ Mashirao has a very complicated relationship with his regression. He has some insecurities about himself and how he doesn't feel like he's very memorable or special and it started to drip into how he sees his regression. It was something he had to earn.

♡ It wasn't always like that, though. When it was just him at home he could put away an hour or two every week to unwind and even found a caregiver in Toru during their time at UA, but after being placed in the dorms–Even though it meant he could spend more time with his caregiver–he felt like he didn't deserve it.

♡ Somewhere someone has it worse, someone deserves the attention more... Someone more important. Someone more special.

♡ Toru worries about her sweet little boy. He hasn't come to her for their weekly regression in a whole month and doesn't seem to want to talk about it, but she can tell something is wrong. Something that she can't help with... But, there might be someone else who can.

♡ Yes, this is yet another case of Bakugou is the most easily accessible babysitter in the dorms because he is easily roped into shenanigans with the right choice of words.

♡ All he had to do was keep an eye on Mashirao while she was gone for the weekend- Just in case he regressed while she wasn't there. But, if that would be too hard for him... So of course he had to prove her wrong.

♡ However. One of her requests seems to stick in his mind the moment he watches her step out the door with Ochaco and Tsuyu. "If you can find out what's got him so upset... Please help him? I don't think it's something I can get through with him alone."

♡ Katsuki is not a tender heart by any stretch of the word and usually would brush things like that off... But, he also has a disease where he can't mind his own business. So, he goes to investigate.

♡ And by investigate, he hunts Mashirao down like an animal and corners him in the kitchen to shake him down for answers. Namely what's wrong with him? Why is Toru so damn worried about him that she got desperate enough to ask the least emotionally sensitive person in class to watch him?

♡ This is not news to Mashirao. He knows Toru is worried about him, but he just can't bear to see her because he knows it will make him regress. And he can't allow this to happen. So much had been happening, he doesn't want to take attention away from people who actually need it. Katsuki would just roll his eyes and gruffly ask if he deprives himself of sleep because someone out there has insomnia. Seeing that Mashirao just tilted his head like a confused puppy he'd shake his head and growl.

♡ "You shouldn't deprive yourself of something just because someone else needs it too. Putting yourself last only works so many times."

♡ However, his language was significantly more unsavory. Still, Mashirao would be so touched to hear this from one of the top students in his class. It drives him to an emotional drop AND tears.

♡ Bakugou regrets agreeing to this.

♡ Katsuki would just scoop Mashirao up onto his hip and bounce him. It's very effective at easing the crying, but does open Katsuki up to having his calves absolutely slapped by a happy waggy tail.

♡ It takes him twenty minutes too long to find where Toru put all of Mashirao's little gear because the tyke decided that rather than be helpful, he was going to try and steal big bro's gauges. What is with babies and trying to take his piercings?

♡ The world may never know.

♡ A banana, a scattering of Cheerios, and a sippy cup of chocolate milk are sacrificed to the toddler so Bakugou can get a picture of the baby that isn't smear frame quality and is sent to Hagakure, fondly captioned: Fixed it, moron.

♡ Toru makes the picture her new lock screen.

CG!Ojiro Headcanons

While Mashirao thinks he bumbled his way into being a cg, it's actually something he's really good at! Doesn't matter the age range either; he's able to mesh with just about any kiddo regardless. It should be noted that he's not necessarily anyone's regular cg though, tending to fill in more as a beloved big brother figure for those that he's close with that also happen to be regressors. He's basically like the fun babysitter every kid looks forward to seeing rather than bemoaning the fact that their regular carer won't be there.

Though not necessarily strict, Mashirao does make sure his kiddo is following the rules—because contrary to popular belief, you can be the fun babysitter and still enforce the rules set out by the main cg(s). He understands what rules are in place and why, and rather than just offer the (poor) explanation of "because I said so" will actually take the time to sit down with them and explain why they can't or shouldn't do something. Moreover, he'll offer them a suggestion about something they can do instead, or something to help make the situation better. I know you want to keep playing, but you need to rest to stay healthy. Here, why don't you pick out a storybook for naptime?

Always makes it a priority to make his little one feel special! Mashirao knows what it's like to be overlooked, and does not want them to ever feel the same way. So whenever he is watching them, he's sure to give them all the attention they deserve and more. Full out doting on their every action, his regressor definitely has him wrapped around their little finger. Mashirao brags on them at every opportunity, going on and on about how amazing they are and pointing out any little detail about them that really shines. He sees all those amazing little talents of theirs that they don't realize they have, and he'll make sure everyone else sees those talents too.

Absolutely can and will keep his kiddos entertained with his tail, should they fall into a small enough headspace that they can be occupied by tail time. Mashirao's only rule when it comes to his tail is that they be gentle, as it can be kind of sensitive (especially if there are curious little hands tugging at it). Otherwise he's more than content to sit on the floor with them and let them have at it. Whether he's letting them play with the fluff at the end to calm down, or letting them chase after it as he flicks it this way and that to help them get rid of any spare energy, the point is it definitely holds their interest and they're having fun. It's free enrichment.

If they're having a bad time, he's one of the best people at comforting others. He doesn't offer too much word wise, but what he does offer is a strong, reassuring presence. He's very much physical comfort over verbal comfort. Mashirao is there to hold their hand when things feel too big to handle, very much silently saying "let me handle this for you" with a gentle squeeze of their hand. And he gives some of the best hugs imaginable too, the kind that are tight but not too tight, long but not overstaying the moment. He's a shoulder to cry on and an excellent listener, and he's more than happy to simply sit through it with them if that's what they need.

He tries very hard to use endearments and such, wanting his little ones to know just how special they are and how much he cares for them! But unlike his other caring skills, this one comes a lot less naturally. Mashirao has spent an embarrassing amount of time online looking over list after list of endearments and trying to suss out which one is the one for each regressor that he cares for. It's got to be good and suit them, but even the ones he thinks are perfect for them somehow wind up sounding stilted when he goes to use them. He doesn't get that endearments will come naturally, if they come at all. Most of the time though his kiddo just laughs at him being so silly, which is better than any alternative.

Mashirao likes to try and suprise them with treats when he can; he's even tried to pick up some baking skills from Satou! However, any attempt to learn even basic recipes result in minimal success—cookies that turn out burnt on the bottom, cupcakes that somehow seem to deflate, brownies hard as rocks, etc. So more often than not when he wants to surprise them with a treat they wind up heading to a bakery or café to pick something up. It's more of a big adventure for his kiddo that way anyways, so it all works out. And it's definitely worth the trip if only to see them ooh and aah over the display case as they pick out what they want.

Shoji being little and Ojiro and/or Hagakure have to help him do things cause he's always in a really small headspace and he forgets that he's strong and sometimes Ojiro's tail will have bruises cause Shoji played a little rough and he's always apologetic but at the same time Ojiro doesn't mind because he's used to bruises and Shoji didn't mean to and how can you stay mad at him he's so precious

Shota sighed as he entered his classroom to find it covered in colorful signs (no doubt placed there by Hizashi earlier that morning) all telling the teens that 'Classification doesn't make a hero’, ‘They are still capable no matter what!’, and other such things. He knew that they wouldn't make a difference, people's feelings on Classification wouldn't change because of some glitter glue signs. Although his class would probably enjoy the fact that Eri had no doubt helped make them.

He glanced at the clock that sat above his door, as he took another swig of the too-sweet coffee. He had 30 minutes until the doors unlocked for students and Iida came rushing in. He might as well use it productively, so he pulled the sleeping bag that he kept under his desk up and over him and laid his head down on his desk.

♡ This is a precious combo and I was delighted to write this! Baby Sero is a treat and there needs to be more of him. It's shorter than I wanted but I hope you enjoy!

♡ If you ever need a babysitter for a little that's just a little too quick or a little too wild then you need Mashirao Ojiro! Seriously, he was made to handle high energy kiddos. He can keep an even head while also keeping up with them in general.

♡ So when Katsuki so kindly asked Mashirao to take Hanta to the park for a few hours, who was he to refuse? Other than fearing for his safety against the wrath of Katsuki Bakugou, Mashirao doesn't really mind watching little Hanta, he's a good kid!

♡ Hanta's about a Large when he meets up with Mashirao at the front so he can easily tie his own shoes- Which are his light up sneakers obviously. You can't go to the park in just any shoes, but he supposes that Mashirao doesn't have the luxury of Sketchers. A sad reality.

♡ He insists that Ojiro should get some so that they can be matching next time. It'd be fun and then they wouldn't lose each other! Mashirao gently states that they wouldn't lose each other if Hanta would stop running off.

♡ This answer is firmly rejected and Hanta makes a grand escape across the crosswalk. (He is holding hands with Mashirao so this does not pan out the way he desires.)

♡ Hanta is only released when they actually get to the park and he passes his Pikachu plush backpack off to Mashirao. He simply cannot be weighed down by these mortal shackles when there are things to CLIMB!

♡ ... And he doesn't want Pikachu to get hurt, so Mashirao has to promise he'll take really good care of him. Pinkie promise! And, of course, Mashirao pinkie promises, those are legally binding, y'know.

♡ Pikachu gets to ride on top of Ojiro's crossbody bag while Sero attacks the monkey bars. He's really good at them and makes sure that Ojiro is watching. Of course Ojiro claps for him when he gets to the end because he did such a good job!

♡ Hanta ropes him into playing on the net climbers with him because those are way better when you have a friend to join you! This inevitably leads to Mashirao getting coaxed into playing on the slide too. And tree climbing. Really, it feels more like he's a playmate than a babysitter at this point.

♡ But, all good things must come to an end, and for Hanta it's when Katsuki texts Mashirao to start heading back because it's almost naptime.

♡ Sero considers this to be a great cruelty against him. Naps are a system put in place by tyrannical caregivers to stifle his true power...

♡ Ojiro says that they can play on the swings a bit before they go. Bakugou will never have to know.

♡ This... Appeases Hanta. The offer is accepted and they spend around fifteen minutes just swinging and watching the clouds lazily float by. It feels good, serene and whimsical in all the best ways.

♡ Though, on the way back to the dorms, the tyrannical nap system takes its toll on Hanta and he conks out on the train. Fondly enervated, Mashirao swaps his crossbody and Pikachu to his chest and gathers Hanta up on his back to complete the rest of their journey.

♡ Sero looks forward to when he'll get to play with Ojiro again.

Little Ojiro is very bad at hide and seek because he can and will forget to hide his tail.

He'll be hiding behind a curtain and you'll just see his tail wagging 60 mph while he's stifling the most precious giggles.

♡ I love CG Sato, you have no idea... I hope this is good!

♡ Sato would probably be the first choice any caregiver would have as a babysitter, and Hagakure is no exception.

♡ Energy is not limitless, even for someone as energetic as Toru! So she would have planned a girl's night to replenish her reserves. She would only be gone for five hours, five whole paw beans in Mashirao's case. He'd be given a kiss on the nose and told to have fun with Rikido while she's gone!

♡ And Ojiro would interpret this as: Sit in front of the front door and wait for five hours until she comes back.

♡ Rikido is the master of redirection with kids, and he would crouch down to Mashirao's level and asks if he'd like to make Toru something for when she comes back.

♡ Now, Ojiro would positively light up! His tail wagging off the charts because GOSH why didn't he think of that? Hagakure is always doing so much stuff for him so why not show her how much he cares? He starts getting all hoppy and bobbing his head.

♡ Rikido would scoop him up on his hip and send the precious tot into a total giggle fit! This is new, but not a scary new like Mashirao worried it would be. He'd hide his face in his sleeves and get all wiggly.

♡ "Do you know what Hagakure's favorite dessert is?" Sato would ask while sitting Ojiro up on the counter. Everyone knows that sitting on the counter is the highest honor a kitchen helper could ever receive. Ojiro perches with pride.

♡ Of course he knows what Toru's favorite dessert is, it's strawberry shortcake! It's cute and light and she loves to take pictures of it for her blog.

♡ Unfortunately, there isn't much that a little guy could really do to help with the making of a strawberry shortcake aside from decorating at the end, so Sato suggested that Ojiro dip strawberries in white chocolate so they can let them set in the fridge!

♡ This idea was ultimately scrapped when Mashirao continued to eat the chocolate covered strawberries. His job was quickly switched to mixing and fetching ingredients.

♡ It keeps him well entertained and gets some of his energy out, but it's over far too soon and he's back to bouncing as soon as the cake is slipped in the fridge to set. Sato took him outside to scramble around in a tree for awhile.

♡ Mashirao found a very big leaf in his tree and presented it to Rikido as a gift. The leaf was later overtaken by Koji's rabbit, but Mashirao didn't need to know that. Rabbit crime.

♡ When Toru returned, Rikido had little Mashirao to help plate a slice of the cake they'd made and let him present it to her. She adored it and took many many pictures- She even made it her phone background for awhile!

♡ Ojiro enjoyed spending the day with Sato and he would like to do it again some time.

♡ Okay, Mashirao probably has a very large age range. Sometimes he's going anywhere from two to ten! But, he's mostly sitting around the younger range.

♡ His older range is reserved for when something is on his mind and keeping him from going any lower.

♡ Prone to stress drops! It's rare for him to just drop on his own- There's just too much on his mind with being an aspiring hero.

♡ He also seems to be a little self conscious and shy, not really taking to being the center of attention, so he likely tries to push off his headspace until it cannot be ignored any longer.

♡ When he does drop into his preferred range, though? An absolute angel, hands down.

♡ Such a little darling! He's a bit on the more bashful side, but he's just so eager to help with anything and everything he can.

♡ Not prone to being fussy or bratty. Though if he sees an opportunity to be naughty, he is wont to take it.

♡ SO remorseful if he's caught though. He just doesn't know what came over him!

♡ Wiggles his tail when he's feeling playful. Wags it SO MUCH! He's just a giddy little guy!

♡ Loves kangaroos- Especially Kanga and Roo from Winnie the Pooh.

♡ He has a very special roo that he's had since he was super little, and loves to carry it around when he's little. It's a bit beaten up, but that just means it's well loved!

♡ Bonus Headcanons: He has pointed ears and paw feet! He has little claws and paw beans on his hands. They are pink and So Precious.

♡ Sometimes just hops!!! He gets these bouts of uncontrollable energy and they'll shoot up his body and make him bouncy.

♡ Never runs off. He'll always stick close to someone when he's small, just so he doesn't get lost!

♡ Has a bad habit of just cramming snacks in his mouth. Boy CHEW oh my God.

♡ If he cannot bounce in place to get his little zoomie fits out, he just wiggles in place.

♡ Hagakure would be a surprisingly good caregiver, honestly. She's so fun and perky! It's hard not regress around her.

♡ And that's what Ojiro likes about having her as his CG.

♡ Even on his hardest days, when he feels like he just can't get his mind to uncloud- She pops up and shines a light on all those yucky thoughts that are holding him back.

♡ She LOVES to go shopping for his little self! He never really indulges himself in little gear or... Anything, really.

♡ And Mama Toru just will not stand for that.

♡ She got him one of those hoodies for cat owners, the ones with the pouch in the front. He audibly gasped!

♡ It is used as a pouch for his stuffed kangaroo, and it's terribly cute. Toru has it as her phone background.

♡ But, she's also the supplier for the greater majority of his little gear. He mentions never having a paci before? She's on the hunt. He spills his water when he's small? She is looking for bottles and sippies. He accidentally scratches himself with his claws? She already found these adorable mittens!

♡ The attention makes him hide hid face in his paw and wag his tail- Shy little baby!

♡ Toru loves to spoil him, it's not her fault 😔

♡ Sometimes... He is a brat.

♡ She'll zip him up in a sleeping bag like a little joey in a pouch and he will choose violence.

♡ If he's particularly little he'll just... Worm around and hop after her.

♡ If he gets out, he's finding a crime to commit.

♡ Usually forgets that... Toru is invisible.

♡ She could be there, watching him get all hyped up for this atrocity and just: TORU: Whatcha doing, bubby? MASHIRAO: (っ °Д °;)っ

♡ Toru likes to have him in her lap, but he is a good bit larger than she is.

♡ This does little to dissuade her.

♡ Yes, she has a laser pointer and yes, she has used it to entertain him for a solid half hour before.
