But I've already rewatched Predator 1, 2, AVP (Scarlex my beloved 😭 expect art of them... sometime), and Prey. I MUST read Fire and Stone + Life and Death when I have the time because I don't even know these characters yet but Galgo/Ahab has already squeezed into my brain.

I can't believe I made 5 (new plus redesigned) OCs for the AVP franchise 😭 I've made a yautja trio hunting party and a human/yautja couple - maybe I'll have a crossover of them with Jon and Mo (my human and xenomorph OCs). When I am more free I will post art!

Okay follow up- I've gotten through all of Fire and Stone now reading Life and Death. I absolutely love Galgo (He's a bastard.) and Ahab. I also really like Elden and Angela.

Here's the highlight reel!

It's ungodly late (4 AM) and I stayed up reading comics about silly aliens and I found myself loving the interaction between a certain yautja and a human. Here's a highlight reel.

I was reading Prometheus: The Complete Fire and Stone Comic. I highly recommend it. The art is super cool. The comic is entertaining. And the story isn't half bad. It's especially interesting if you like the Prometheus movie.

I was cracking up the whole damn time these two were stuck together. He (the human) was gonna grow a spine or die of a heart attack.

The fact she winds up as half a body at some point is also wild. And the fact Dek chooses to carry her like a backpack is so cute to me

She’s literally watching his back and acts like a temporary plasma caster is so cool. They just look so cool like that.

I hope they do some cool tag teaming fights with her backing him up by acting as another set of arms. OUGHHH I CANT WAIT TO SEE IF THEY BECOME BESTIES (like galgo and Ahab ❤️) the trust between them that’ll form (if she doesn’t betray him in some way)

I could cry if I think about the fact we could see Dek become a legendary hunter 🥹 like we actively see him achieve what seems impossible and obtain blooded status, like THE FACT THIS IS JUST HIS FIRST HUNT!!! His first big hunt to prove himself worthy…

Btw his mask looks so badass!! Dawg….if he survives this movie and we see him again in a sequel…

I thank them for awakening my love of monsters and aliens.

Note: Not all Yautja are in this ranking. Just the ones I remember or care about. Favourite to least would be:

Scar: Baby boy. I bet he's first in a lot of people's list.

Fugitive: Honestly, he's hilarious. He's easily the best part of that shit-show film, and I'm still mad he went out so quickly. Also, Fugitive missing his bomb bracer was, at first, odd because it's so noticeable but honestly hot.

Ahab: Oh, look, a Yautja that actually survives their story. The idea of him being stranded with humans on a Xenomorph planet for who knows how long, making friends with them, and learning English is everything I've wanted from these films. He's a grumpy old man who just wants to sleep, but he's stuck with Galgo, so that's not happening.

Wolf: The only Yautja that honestly scares me, and I love him for that. He doesn't get paid enough for what the job requires from him. Probably should have taken another cleaner with him.

Jungle Hunter: Classic. He doesn't have much personality compared to the others, but he has to be ranked high since he started it all.

Scarface: What I wanted City Hunter to be. A listed bad blood making up for his mistake is just *chefs kiss.*

Feral: I was a little unsure of his design, but he's grown on me. You can tell he's young and dumb, but he has the best kills in the entire series.

Celtic: Typical older brother who wants to show off. He had three business days to kill Grid and he somehow fucked it. Elder must have been doing this gif:

Elder: Speaking of. Cool guy. I'd have a drink with him.

Ghost: There's next to nothing about him, other than he's a young blood or recently blooded Yautja hunting down bad bloods that slaughtered his entire clan, and I demand a full show and a spin-off film.

City Hunter: Meh. Just meh. He'd be alive if he didn't spend all week focused on one guy.

Chopper: Who? Only memorable because he was part of a trio.

Assassin/Ugrade: ...Ew...

The Bad Blood Trio: I'm all for Yautja who don't live by their code of honour, but I somehow always forget about these guys.

Now, I'm just gonna sit here and wait until someone Mods Yautja into BG3 as a playable race.

I want them to have a reluctant allies relationship like Ahab and Galgo. He's said to be a juvenile, so let’s be a little mindful. ☺️

Alex and Scar should have gone further, and Thia and Dek need to. Let them smooch. Or something like it, i dunno how they would kiss, it's not the point.
