Relationship with me: We were married then got divorced so I could carry out a specific plan involving someone else. But we are still madly in love.

It seems that at the time the two of you got divorced it was a difficult and painful time for Alex to deal with, especially regarding his feelings, because he felt that when you were together, he carried a part of you and when you guys broke up, he felt like he missed that part.

He keeps trying to tell himself he doesn't want you back in a failed attempt to convince himself that he doesn't want to reconcile - he believes you've already moved on and is trying to do the same, even though he's DEFINITELY not over you . And, as things don't work that way, sometimes he finds himself thinking about you – your skin, your smell, your hair, etc. – and he has these relapses remembering the moments when you were together.

He wonders if, if you two had a second chance, if he would be able to make you happy. He's afraid of abandonment, so he also wonders if you would choose him if you had to decide between him and something else, if he would be your priority at some point. Sometimes he wonders if you guys breaking up was the right thing to happen, but at the same time he feels used, like he's a chess piece in your games - even though he's not over you yet, he's tired of feeling bad about this situation and he don't want to waste any more time.

However, if the two of you got back into a relationship, he would be very demanding and want you to really love him and if you cheated on him he would destroy you (I couldn't find a better way to say that). To be very honest, he has several red flags – he would be a suffocating partner, sometimes he would be violent towards you, one moment he would be loving and affectionate with you and the next he would be treating you badly, etc.

But, the decision to have a relationship with him again or not is in your hands and it's up to you to weigh the pros and cons.
