Hot Take: Romance isn't an exception to verbal consent. Don't pressure someone into going on a date/dating you, don't kiss them without asking, don't rest in their arm without asking, don't put your arm over them without asking, Don't repeat your flirting if someone tells you to stop and most importantly, DON'T force them to love you. Consent is and should always be essential in relationships and if your refused, take a damn hint and move on.
