🎞️ The Last Animation I Ever Made And It’s Still Not Finished
This was supposed to be a full remake of my very first animation a story about a lone hero on a journey for revenge after a demon slaughtered his auntie.
There was going to be a dramatic transformation scene (because of course I grew up on Power Rangers and Kamen Rider ) the villain hadn’t even revealed their true form yet, but I ran out of time due to the deadline and had to cut it short before the story really took off.
Still, this one means a lot to me. I kept coming back to the idea sketching redesigns, rewriting backstories, imagining what the finished version might have looked like.
Even unfinished, it reminds me of why I fell in love with storytelling and animation in the first place.
It’s one of those ideas that sticks and one day, I’ll return to it and give it the ending it deserves.

🎞️ One of my early stop motion experiments from university — a koi pond diorama inspired by traditional Japanese gardens.
The idea was to capture the calm flow of a koi fish swimming through a peaceful pond, surrounded by hand-made foliage, painted water effects, and a little miniature world built from scratch.
The animation itself is super simple, but it taught me so much about pacing, set building, and how even a basic movement can feel alive when it’s done with care.
Would love to revisit this one someday with everything I’ve learned since.

🎞️ I just found the first ever animation I ever created.
It’s rough, it’s simple, It's the first time I ever tried Animating — but it’s where everything started. One day, when my art skills are back up to scratch, I’m going to recreate this and turn it into a masterpiece. I’ve always loved stop motion and 2D animation, so maybe I’ll even try bringing it to life in stop motion too (though we’ll see if that actually happens 😅). The original concept for this was a Hero on a journey to defeat the demon who slaughtered his Auntie, the hero being me and the Monster Being Cancer, And of course, he has to transform — because I’m a huge fan of Power Rangers and Kamen Rider! It’s a reminder of how far I’ve come — and how far I still want to go. It also reminds me of how fun something can be when you’re just creating for the joy of it. Shout out to all the tutors at The Manchester College - Openshaw Campus who had the time and patience to try and teach me. I really appreciate it, and I’m sorry it didn’t stick back then — but hopefully, I’ll be revisiting it all someday soon. Here’s to revisiting old work, finding new inspiration, and enjoying every step of the journey.
