1. They both look outstanding here, it boggles my mind that this was them at their most chaotic.

2. It looks like they both decided to colour-coordinate their outfits for the press conference, which makes them look even more outstanding and chaotic.

3. You see that tie Paul’s wearing? Why did I only just realise that’s the same tie John has wrapped around his head in Strawberry Fields Forever? So they were sharing clothes again? OK. Chaotic.

Not going to lie: there are FIVE rare (and spectacular) vintage Telecasters visible in this shot from a visit to my friend's collection. HOWEVER...can I please request that you confine your attention to the one in the middle...just for a second! 😉

1969 Fender Rosewood Telecaster.

The all Rosewood Tele was made famous when Fender gifted the original to George Harrison, and George can be seen playing it in the famous Beatles' "Rooftop Concert" atop 3 Saville Row, on 30th January, 1969.

I have seen several MIJ reissues of this model, and even a few Custom Shop shop versions...but this is my first "real" Rosewood Tele.

George Harrison drafts the following memo for Apple staff:

Hells Angels will be in London within the next week, on the way to straighten out Czechoslovakia. There will be twelve in number complete with black leather jackets and motor cycles. They will undoubtedly arrive at Apple and I have heard they may try to make full use of Apple’s facilities. They may look as though they are going to do you in but are very straight and do good things, so don’t fear them or up-tight them. Try to assist them without neglecting your Apple business and without letting them take control of Savile Row.

Running a business sounds super easy.
