Valon Region Pokedex

The new (and in some cases new-ish) Pokemon that Ash, Peach and Argit will be encountering while trying to take down Shredder. The name doesn't mean anything, I just came up with something that sounded good.

Also I went with a Legends-style 'Dex to make things somewhat easier for myself, so it's largely variants.

These versions of Carvanha and Sharpedo are haunted fossils that swim through the desert.

Valonian Cottonee The Cotton Puff Pokemon Grass/Dark Ability: Prankster/Magic Bounce

Valonian Whimsicott The Windveiled Pokemon Grass/Dark Ability: Prankster/Magic Bounce Evolves from Valonian Cottonee when exposed to a Dusk Stone

Lucidarn The Dream Guardian Pokemon Grass/Dark Ability: Prankster/Magic Bounce Evolves from Valonian Whimsicott when Leveled up with a Dreamy Pokemon(more on them later) in the Party

They have black cotton instead of white, which makes them look like cute little storm clouds

Valonian Ledian The Lightspeed Pokemon Bug/Steel Ability: Speed Boost Evolves from Ledyba (if obtained in the Valon Region) at Level 18

Snagpie The Larceny Pokemon Ice/Dark Ability: Pickpocket Evolves from Valonian Delibird if Leveled up while holding an Amulet Coin

Not sure why the Pokemon based on Australian magpies are in another dimension instead of Donanda but oh well

Valonian Wailord The Float Whale Pokemon Water/Fire Ability: Water Absorb/Levitate Evolves from Wailmer (if obtained in the Valon Region) at Level 40

Valonian Waileague The Airship Pokemon Water/Fire Ability: Water Absorb/Hot Air- All Pokemon on your side of the field are immune to Ground Type moves while this Pokemon is out Evolves from Valonian Wailord at Level 60

(Yes this means there's a non-Valonian Waileague in the Donanda Pokedex. It's classified as the Deep Dive Pokemon and is Water/Rock Type and can either Water Veil or Oblivious as its Ability, or Pressure as its Hidden Ability)

Dreamy Pokemon

Pokemon created due to the Foot Clan's misuse of the powers of the Valon Region's (formerly) only local Legendary Emiyar. All of them are references to non-pokemon things (mostly Mario and SMG4 because of course), a few of them are technically Regional Variants, and they're the only Pokemon who can use the Region's Power-Up Gimmick... which I haven't worked out the details for yet.

Dreamy Shroomish The Mushroom Pokemon Grass/Normal Ability: Hustle/Flower Veil

Now has similar colors to a Super Mushroom

Dreamy Breloom The Mushroom Pokemon Grass/Normal Ability: Chlorophyll/Limber/(Hidden)Flash Fire Evolves from Dreamy Shroomish with Hustle at Level 29

Yocelio The Jumping Pokemon Grass/Fire Ability: Chlorophyll/Limber/(Hidden)Flash Fire Evolves from Dreamy Breloom when Leveled up while holding a Dragon Scale

Dreamy Breloom and Yocelio are based on a mix of Mario and Yoshi, with Mario's elements becoming much more prominent in Yocelio's design. Mostly because it gets rounder.

Yandial The Vision Pokemon Electric Ability: Transistor/Binge Watch- Prevents all Pokemon on the field from escaping Evolves from Deredachi when exposed to a Thunder Stone if it's the only Pokemon in the Party

Legendaries

Emiyar The Dreaming Pokemon Fairy/Psychic Ability: (Dreamer Forme)Comatose/(Lucid Forme)Magic Bounce [Haven't fully figured out how it changes forms yet but it involves a Key Item]

The Pokemon World's physical embodiment of Dreams (hence why it's name is REM but backwards and phonetic). It resides within the Dream World... and as that implies, yes, the Valon Region is technically Emiyar's dream. Sort of. It's complicated.

The Shredder's been trying to harness Emiyar's seeming ability to alter reality (it can only do that in the Dream World, but since he's in the Dream World he hasn't realized that yet) both to find a way back to his own world and just because reality warping is nearly every supervillain's pipe dream, the combination of stress and exposure to foreign code has resulted in new Pokemon that don't properly fit in the Valon dream and have fragments of Emiyar's power within them.

Dreamer Forme Emiyar looks like a cross between a Dumbo Octopus and a brain with Magical Girl Mascot Animal vibes (some characters have referred to it as a "Chibi Krang," given the context), while Lucid Forme looks more like a typical fairy.

Every other Legendary on the list is a Dreamy Pokemon.

Somniserrata The Dream Shredder Pokemon Steel/Fairy Ability: Waking Nightmare- The Pokemon functions as though it has the Dark Type alongside its actual Types

After realizing where the Dreamy Pokemon were coming from, Shredder decided to make his own personal abomination. Unfortunately for him, there were five very annoying side-effects

Splinsei The Old Master Pokemon Fighting Ability: Martial Prowess

The turtles each have elements from a Ben 10 Alien mixed in (specifically Diamondhead, Rath, Upgrade and Feedback), while Splinsei is just Master Splinter as a Pokemon.

He just can't get away from them, can he?
