L earnings by Machine in Machine Learning
AI was designed to perform tasks for which it was programmed to do but with the advancement in AI, Machine Learning (an application of AI) came into existence with the ability to learn automatically from the past data to solve complex problems without being explicitly programmed. Therefore, ML-based models have to be trained over the data and there are various methods to do so. Let’s discuss. Supervised Learning – This type of machine learning algorithm can be considered as the learning that is under the guidance of a teacher. Here, the data set acts as a teacher, therefore ML-based models learn under the guidance and are being trained over the labeled data i.e. we know what we want to predict. Moreover, a small portion of the data set is used for training the model, and the cause and effect relationship between the variables of the data set and output is predicted. For example – To predict the house price, an ML-based model is trained over a small portion of the data set which possesses labeled data. This data includes input variables locality, size of a house and collector rate, and the relationship is established between the variables and the house price is predicted as the output variable. Therefore, the model gets improved with the future data fed into it. Supervised learning algorithms include regression, classification, decision tree, and random forest. Unsupervised Learning – In this learning technique, the machine learning algorithm acts without any guidance or any direction. For instance – an adult does not need any kind of supervision or guidance to make decisions related to daily activities. Therefore, in this technique, the Ml-based model is fed with an unlabeled data set for training to make any prediction as output. A model itself identifies the trends or patterns from the given data set by creating a relationship in it and further producing the output. Unlike supervised learning, in unsupervised learning, only input data is given, the output variable is not provided and unsupervised learning more computationally complex compared to supervised learning. Unsupervised learning algorithms include clustering and association analysis. Reinforcement Learning – It is a learning method in which an agent interacts with the environment and learns through experiences further producing the actions and discovering the errors or rewards. Moreover, in reinforcement learning, there is no predefined data set, so it works on the hit & trial concept by taking action. For instance – initially, a robot (an agent) does not know anything where to move i.e. forward, backward, right, or left, so it learns more about its surroundings or environment and then moves. Reinforcement learning algorithms include Q-learning and SARSA (State Action Reward State Action) algorithm. So, these are the mainly used types of machine learning algorithms. Hence, depending on the use cases, learning patterns, and the rapidly increasing data, these ML-based algorithms and models are evolving and producing the desired outcomes with accuracy.

What did bismuth Dirk make Hal FOR?
ALRIGHT! TIME FOR MY SECOND STORY DUMP! We need a bit of context before we get to Hal, so bear with me. (this is a long as fuck post)
SO! Dave and Dirk both come from Homeworld, as all gems do. I'm not super sure on the exacts, as the Alpha Kids are the first ones to leave together and they pick up the Beta Kids later but, we're kind of floating around the idea of Bro being Yellow Diamond or having some sort of equivalent power. Both Dirk and Dave are gems under Yellow, Dirk being a Bismuth and Dave being a Carnelian.
Plot stuff happens, Dirk escapes and at some point comes back to get Dave and now they have a whole squad and all that, yadda-yadda. However, during their escape from Homeworld, something Bad happens and causes Dave to get injured (don't know what it is yet but it's something)
Dave's gem gets cracked but everyone still makes it out okay. Due to whatever the circumstances are surrounding this, only Dave and Dirk know of the status of Dave's gem, Dave starts wearing actual clothing upon getting to Earth to hide his cracked gem, using the excuse that it's cool and he's trying to vibe with the style.
Dirk is a Bismuth, he's been trained his whole life to create weapons of war and things for destruction, and now, faced with one of the people he's come to care about most, it's the one time he can't fix a problem by putting a hammer to it. He can't help Dave, and Dirk blames himself for letting Dave get hurt in the first place, thinking he wasn't strong enough to protect him.
As time goes on, Dave gets worse, and especially after escaping Homeworld, Dave's cracked gem prevents him from spawning his weapon. This means Dave is filled with trauma on top of feeling deeply defenseless, coming from a place where having a weapon on you at all times was the only thing keeping you alive.
Dirk, watching Dave's deterioration, decides that enough is enough and he seeks out Pink Diamond. Upon finding Feferi, Dirk trades in something (A deal? A service?) in exchange for some of her healing material. He brings it to Dave and heals his gem.
So, you'd assume everything's fine and dandy now, right? Surely.
But no, it's Dirk, so it's not.
Dirk looks at this situation and says, "I'm never going to let this happen again" and concludes that the reason Dave got hurt was because he, Dirk, was not strong enough. So Dirk asks, "How do I get stronger?"
At some point during this time, the group is all out doing stuff together and Dirk watches Sollux save all their asses from something. Dirk realizes Sollux is statistically the stronger gem out of the whole group and puts two-and-two together (literally), concluding that what he needs to be powerful is...
Fusion. (do you see where this is heading?)
Will Dirk go and ask Sollux about this? Will he go and maybe ask Roxy, who he trusts? Will he talk to Dave and get his thoughts?
No, of course not. Because Dirk is a little stupid.
Dirk theorizes that if he can splinter his own gem and create an artificially copied fragment of himself, he'd be able to fuse with himself which would avoid having to rely on other people. So Dirk does the one thing he wasn't going to do to Dave. He takes the hammer to himself.
This, as you would imagine, goes fucking horribly wrong.
Dirk creates Hal, who is only a very small sliver of Bismuth. A corrupted gem that can't properly speak, seems to be intelligent, but also fucking hates Dirk.
Dirk, panicked, both because now his own gem is fucked up, but now because he has a little Dude running around his workshop, decides "oh fuck I need to fix this" and tries to fuse with Hal.
It doesn't work. Their fusion isn't stable. They can't fuse back together.
Dirk, having no idea what to do, decides to hide Hal away in his workshop and does his best to lie to everyone. Dave is suspicious, as Dirk starts to wear clothing that covers his gem, but Dave also isn't one for emotional vulnerability so he doesn't ask. Dirk continues to lie to most of everyone, even as his own state gets worse and worse.
Eventually, Sollux realizes what Dirk did. And he's fucking pissed. The lie gets uncovered and Sollux is ANGRY. Remember when Pearl lied to Garnet about the tower and the whole Sardonyx thing? It's like that, but both sides are angry at each other and refuse to apologize.
The rest of the group do their best to take care of Hal, they try to help Dirk fuse properly with him but it's not working, and Dirk keeps trying to force it but they aren't stable.
Eventually, something happens, and Dave gets poofed while they're out on an adventure (obviously Dave can recover, but it's a huge scare for Dirk). It's something Dirk could've easily protected Dave from, but now because he fragmented himself, he's even weaker than before. This is the final tipping stone for Dirk.
He goes to Sollux and apologizes, begging him to help him figure out fusion.
Sollux, resigned, sighs and agrees to help him. With time, Sollux slowly teaches Hal and Dirk how to work together and fuse, gradually helping them become more and more stable until finally they can fuse together and be like normal again.
Even after all of this, Hal and Dirk fused together aren't any more powerful than they were before. But Dirk grew in a different way, learning to trust others and see that not all his problems can be solved by just relying on himself.
Sollux, seeing Dirk & Hal's growth, who have now become a proper permafusion, offers to fuse with them if he wants to try it. Dirk smiles and shakes his head, and says that he'll be happy with where he is for right now, though he wouldn't mind taking it up in the future. Sollux is beaming back, satisfied that Dirk learned his lesson. (and then when shit goes down in the future we have this fucking awesome moment where Dirk and Sollux fuse together for the first time and theyre so fucking cool and i physicall explode)
ANYWAYS THAT'S MY STORY DUMP. LONG-ASS POST I KNOW BUT I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS ABOUT THEM! HOPE THIS ANSWERS YOUR QUESTION!!

Finally, it’s time for out main character to enter the spotlight! Rose Egbert!
silly lore under the cut
Want to see more? You can find John/June Lalonde , Jade Strider and  Dave Harley here!
-raised by Dad instead of Beta Roxy -she is a conspiracy theorist, not in the ridiculous and kinda crazy sense, she’s simply open minded and likes to listen to conspiracy podcasts -Rose, aka enpassantBlasphemy [EB], likes to browse forums about unsolved mysteries, preferring to think about the more outlandish theories about them. It was here she ran into ghastfulTomfoolery [GT], aka John, on a post about an unsolved murder. She was interested in his... 'unique' viewpoint on death and thus stayed in contact. -one day, another kid named Dave asked for her assistance in tracking down his pet bird. Once the bird was recovered, they exchanged handles, Dave's being trilobitesGraveyard [TG]. -Dave passed on the contact of a friend of his, gallantGravitation [GG], aka Jade. They like to discuss trap design, ethics of artificial intelligence, and cute animal images of course. -Rose learned about the SBURB Beta through the conspiracy communities she orbits. People were discussing that the game would serve as some gateway for a world ending apocalypse. Rose decided to play the game in order to debunk these theories. She was more wrong than she could have possibly believed. -has quite the good relationship with her patron troll. perhaps a little bit more than just good actually. -our hero of light, of course, but what class? you'll see very soon.

Sometimes, I like to go down to the local junior high school and help out the kids with their robot club projects. By "sometimes" I mean "community service," and by "robot club," I mean "robot club." We didn't have a robot club at my junior high school, mostly because inexpensive commercialized robot kits didn't yet exist, and also because we spent most of the day terrified that the Russians would obliterate us with psychic squirrels who can atomize an entire village with their minds. Once, one of the teachers saw a chipmunk and we hid under our desks for a week until it got hit by the shop teacher Mr. Gagne's Volvo.
Sorry, where was I? Right. Robot club. See, the thing that a lot of kids these days don't have is useful fathers. Sure, more of them than ever have extant and legally-responsible fathers. Heartwarming TV dramas about the nature of fatherhood, and the increasing coolness of childrens' toys, have helped keep dads in the picture, rather than bolting for the nearest cigar lounge the first time a particularly nasty diaper needs to be changed. Unfortunately, those dads are pretty much useless, unless their kids need help getting a blue check on Twitter or parking their F-250 two meters away from the full-service pump at the gas station.
I like to teach the children the basics about mechanical engineering. Of course, I am not a mechanical engineer – I am actually legally forbidden from calling myself a mechanical engineer, so don't tell anyone I said those words or I'll be in deep shit – so I don't really know what I am doing. However, "don't really know what I'm doing" is heads and shoulders above the faculty and the aforementioned industrially-absent fathers; just learninating the kids about which way to turn a screw in order to loosen it qualifies me for a school board award. Which I received.
Sadly for all involved, it turns out that I had been duped. No, not about the award. I got to go to a little ceremony downtown and got an adorable medal, but it turns out I had been helping what the police later called "some evil fuckin' kids" create a killer robot, and the world's first sentient strong artificial intelligence to drive it. Luckily I didn't teach them how to build the robot very well, so the batteries fell out after it plowed through a particularly thick skull. The whole experience made me reminiscence about my salad days: I bet that robot would have made fuckin' mincemeat out of that chipmunk. We'd have gotten to go home early and play Sega Genesis.

All the reason why kids need to learn AI and how DcodeAI can help them
Artificial intelligence, dubbed the "skill of the century," allows humanity to create intelligent machines and systems capable of executing tasks that would otherwise necessitate human intelligence. It has really become a part of our daily lives, to the point that when a machine plays games with us or recognizes our natural language, it feels absolutely natural. Because of the benefits of artificial intelligence, an increasing number of businesses are using the technology to optimise their goods and services, analyse their business models, and develop their decision-making process. We've all heard of AI's position in chess-playing machines and self-driving vehicles, but the advantages of AI extend beyond the computing and space industries.
It is also important in sectors that are closely connected to our daily lives, such as healthcare, automobiles, and even banking and finance. It will now work its magic on nearly every market, taking in previously unseen improvements.
The nuanced integration of AI into the way the environment works, as well as the possibility of further AI technologies mushrooming in the future, further emphasise the importance of artificial intelligence and machine learning for children. Let's take a closer look at how these details can contribute to your children's general success and prepare them to perform well in the world of tomorrow.
The expectation that millions of positions will be generated in the field of artificial intelligence over the next decade significantly increases the value of artificial intelligence for children and provides a compelling argument for them to be exposed to it. Even today, AI is used directly or indirectly in a wide range of manufacturing and service fields, and the number of domains can grow with each passing day, providing new job opportunities.
AI applications are so diverse that your child will be enthralled by their application in an area that affects them, and their knowledge of these applications will help them progress constructively in it. An understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for children will not only provide them with career stability, it will also land them in the highest-paying career in today's world.
Undirected coding is tedious, and children lose interest after a bit, but AI puts a real-life challenge in front of them, making it more interesting and allowing them to practice coding from a new perspective. Thus, coding with AI applications in mind will not only help them conceive of a new challenge, but will also allow them to be the developer of the solution rather than a mere user.
Data drives the twenty-first century. Exposing children to big data at a young age and teaching them how to capture, examine, and evaluate data sets would familiarise them with processes that shape the foundation of the modern environment. This is where artificial intelligence and machine learning come into play. Learning about these innovations introduces children to the field of data, which is not only changing the IT world but also yielding better and more exciting outcomes in the healthcare and exercise industries.
DcodeAI – The AI Learning App will help them master AI principles without requiring any coding knowledge. It will render learning AI basics easy, intuitive, and customizable by using low code/no code tools. We will also assist you in researching and developing AI models without the need for specialised computational tools or GPUs (Graphics Processing Units). So, instead of allowing your children to play games or watch videos, give them the opportunity to use their screen time to learn ideas and skills that can make their future stronger and brighter. Go ahead, get in touch with us as soon as possible!

I absolutely adore this blog and am absorbing every bit of information. I'm super interested in how octoling mimicry affected their overall evolution as well as how they adapted to living underground! As well as the integration of octolings to the surface and how octoling and inkling relationships function. Is it common for octolings to join inkling polycules, or do they commonly prefer to be monogamous? is adoption common due to inklings and octolings being unable to have children together?
Thank you!
Octolings in general have always been good visual and behavioral mimics. They’re smart, they can change color, shape, and texture, and are essentially wired to reflect other’s behavior.
Of course, as good as they are as general mimics, they took a sharp and specialized turn when the first inkling packs began mistakenly “adopting” them. Octolings as a species quickly found a niche, and they evolved to fill it rapidly. Their very biology and even reproductive systems were altered to help them mimic inklings and better integrate into their shoals.
Before they adapted to mimic inklings, octolings were almost completely solitary animals. They only met up to breed, and they didn’t even raise their own young; which were completely precocial.
And then, somewhere along the line through sheer coincidence, the hyper-social inklings found and octoling, went “welcome to the family”, and that octoling realized… being part of a shoal meant more safety, more food, more grooming, more survival. It was extremely advantageous to work with inklings instead of competing against them.
Octolings, being intelligent, quickly caught on. And from there, it was an evolutionary arms race to better blend in with the inklings. But it wasn’t just looking like inklings… it was acting like them, too. They developed identical body structures, chromatophore and photophore placement, shifting abilities, ink production, social mannerisms, and even similar pouches and reproductive systems.
Let that sink in. They adapted so closely to blend with inkling society, an octoling was able to successfully carry inkling eggs as a surrogate host. Which is absolutely fascinating, to me.
Which brings me to your next question: modern day cross-species couples. The reproductive system I mentioned still holds up, and both inklings and octolings are able to carry each other’s eggs… though, obviously, they aren’t able to actually fertilize them. If there’s no viable male and female of one species to lay and fertilize, artificial egg donations or insemination are popular.
Of course, so are adoptions! Having more than one or two eggs be fertilized on accident happens even if people want kids, so extra eggs are quite often rehomed to families who can’t produce.
Of course, that’s if, again, there’s not one of each sex in the relationship. It’s quite common for octolings to join relationships with inklings and vise versa, and octolings are just as prone to polyamory as inklings.
In fact… octoling mimicry still holds up. To touch back a bit on how the cross-species integration is going after the great turf war… the answer is that a lot of inklings didn’t even notice. When octolings returned to the surface, a lot of inklings simply assumed they were inklings. Which is not only hilarious, but proof that thousands of years of evolution to do exactly that paid off.
Recently, octarians have been coming back into the scientific light, but it’s going… well. Inklings genuinely don’t mind for the most part, as it’s also part of their dna to be highly social (octolings whole evolution started BECAUSE inklings adopted them), and octolings are good at socializing with them!

I wanted to add more to my accidental Unicron Redemption AU, so that’s what this is. Link to the original post: https://sturthepotofmadness.tumblr.com/post/698121264982786048/i-just-thought-of-a-crazy-transformers-au-that
LONG POST AHEAD
I mainly wanted to do this because I just remembered the fact that Skyquake is on Earth before the main human kids encounter the bots so...
aka this is addressing all the Cybertronians on Earth between the humans waking up Unicron (20XX +1) and Unicron getting his body back (24XX)
Since I already mentioned him, let’s start with Skyquake.
Also, I misremembered Skyquake’s pod location as the Arctic, but I don’t want to go back and fix it so he’s in the Arctic now.
Say it’s 219X (random year, could be any year between the previously mentioned dates) when humans manage to create portable heaters powered by Dark Energon that can be incorporated into gear made for extremely cold temperatures.
Humans start exploring the Arctic and Antarctica much more thoroughly compared to before they had the Dark Energon heaters.
While exploring, they com across this massive pod that is Cybertronian in nature. Humans take it back to a place where they can possible study it and ask Unicron about it.
They do so, take a picture of it, then show the image to Unicron. The god of destruction and chaos is already attached, so tells them what it is and how to open it.
The humans wake up Skyquake and the poor dude is smacked so hard with whiplash because what the hell did he wake up to
He expected to wake up to some Decepticons either getting his help or telling him the war’s over, not... these tiny hyper organics who praise Unicron and said god being effectively affectionate towards said organics.
After some rapid fire questions and answers from the humans, Skyquake gets some time to speak to Unicron without the humans crowding him like a flock of birds. There’s still some humans around, of course, there’s now a lot less of them mentally poking him around.
Unicron explains the humans to Skyquake and the seeker asks about the war, which the god just gets confused by, so Skyquake assumes the war never reached or has yet to reach wherever he is currently.
Skyquake can still feel Dreadwing’s side of the bond, but can barely interact with it, so he knows his brother is alive, he just can’t connect with his brother again for a long while.
The humans keep some of the Energon as straight Energon for Skyquake, but never figure out how to properly keep recreating regular blue Energon, so Skyquake is eventually forced to switch over to Dark Energon. Its weird switching at first, but he gets used to it.
Skyquake eventually also gets attached to the humans and joins them in resource gathering and planet hopping/building.
Around the same time the humans found Skyquake, they also found the Scraplet pod, but took one look at them, asked Unicron about them, saw Unicron freak slightly, then allowed the Scraplets to freeze to death in the Arctic before leaving.
The Insecticons, however...
For the sake of this, say its 230X (could be any year between the original two dates, just using this as an example) when humans finally successfully make the first drone using Dark Energon as fuel without said drone accidently destroying any loyalty coding it might have. Skyquake believes making these drones is wrong, but Unicron thinks its fine, so the humans go through with it.
Unicron eventually tells Skyquake that the drones are nothing like Cybertronians. Despite both Skyquake and the drones using Dark Energon as their main fuel source, these drones cannot act on their own without a guiding force. They’re physically unable to. Cybertronians, to his understanding, were created with such an advance intelligence that their knowledge and ability to do things on their own could never even be considered artificial intelligence.
More of that drone are made and become specialized in certain things, such as recording, mining, flying, diving, etc
Some mining and recording drones stumble upon the Insecticon stasis pod nest on Earth and alert the humans about it.
The humans come to the nest location and begin to properly obverse and take note on everything about the nest, once again getting images of it to show to Unicron. When the images are shown, Unicron identifies the Insecticons and the humans begin getting ideas.
After some discussing, Unicron decides to join them and only one of the Insecticons is freed. The Insecticon stares at these weird tiny organics in confusion as the humans immediately begin making observations.
The Insecticon attempts to attack the humans, but is immediately stopped by Unicron. When its stopped, it immediately attaches leader status to Unicron and allows the humans to continue... whatever they’re doing. They take the Insecticon back up to the surface with them to study more, leaving the rest of the nest behind and making some recording and guard drones behind to watch over the nest.
Eventually, but before Unicron gets his body back, they see the Insecticon clone itself into a smaller being and a final idea is made.
The humans make an artificial planet made specifically for “breeding” Insecticons, then poisoning them using a mix of Dark Energon to harvest them for their metal. They keep the more feral babies and kill the more intelligent babies and older Insecticons.
They, of course, free a good few more of the Insecticons to have a good base to start out with for the “breeding” farm, but they kill the rest for their metal.
I’ll probably make another post sometime later of the Autobots and Decepticons interacting with the humans and Unicron (and Skyquake) in this AU. This feels really long already and I don’t want to make it too long.
